A highlight of my trip to AC! This place is great, plenty of room for a decent sized crowd, good sound and amazing staff. The staff were welcoming and kind all night, keeping the drinks flowing until early in the AM. The space is easy to access from the boardwalk.

Anchor Rock Club is a great venue just off the Atlantic City boardwalk. I saw Sun Ra Arkestra there in June 2022. It's a great venue to get as close to the band as possible.

Beautiful intimate venue literally steps away from the beach. I would recommend this venue for anyone hosting an event. Actually making some plans to throw something here in the future. 2 bars, nice stage, 2 levels, upper deck has a balcony, my only knock is that the bathrooms are tiny but who cares about the bathroom when you're having a good time lol Also there is only paid parking or street parking

This is gonna be the new big spot for AC. Its HUGE and has a lot of room for all kinds of people. Nice seating and there are four separate bars. There are two down stairs on separate sides of the stage and dance floor and two on the second floor on separate sides of the balcony. The sound was awesome and after seeing some performances the stage and dance floor are great for the audience and I believe it would be great for any band playing. The only fault I could see is the stage isn't huge and so a large band or a band with a larger stage show might have some difficulty. Also it was difficult to find the venue because although google maps took us to the right spot it was hard to see from the road as theres no signage. The entrance is on the ramp up to the boardwalk.

The venue itself is beautiful and the layout of two full service bars is fantastic. They have this one Tiffany stained glass lamp that echoes the colors of the Irish flag!

Sick little venue with 2 bars and a standing area. If you wanna get right up next to the band you're seeing, this is the place! Can't wait to go back! Has some seating but it's pretty limited, be a good concert goer & let the differently abled people have those.

Event attended: the band Dead Milkmen, 5/13/2022. ID., proof of covid vacc., required, but not masks. Hassle-free across-the-street parking, reasonably priced (using credit card) in a large lot on the same block of New York Avenue. Friendly house staff, comfortable space with great stage views from the floor or the balcony which surrounds both sides and the back. Fairly wide selection of alcoholic beverages.

Not a bad place to see a show, plenty of great view points to see the band. Plenty of bathrooms which I appreciated. My only concern is that standing on the right side of the balcony I had small pieces of the ceiling drop/flake on me

Awesome small venue to see some great bands, right off of the boardwalk. Feels like a throwback to old rock clubs. Just wish they had affordable drinks!!

Definitely eager to go back and hopefully bump this to 5 stars because I'm so thrilled to have a decent intimate venue on this side of the bridge. Parking was easy, ticket process was fast (do yourself a favor and bring cash if you want to pay at the door), plenty of places to sit/hang back or get close if you wanted to be right next to the stage. The only downer was it was pretty obvious throughout the band's set that one of the musicians was having a hard time with the sound and kept asking for his mike to be turned up. I could tell after a while he was frustrated and it was affecting his performance/the overall vibe of the show. To be fair, it seemed like the sound guy was attempting to accommodate his requests, so who knows if it was an issue with the equipment or this artist was just particular, but I was standing nearby to him and could tell his instrument wasn't as loud as it could have been. That being said, definitely planning on returning to check out more shows here + think it's a venue worth checking out if you're in town!

This place is it! Used to boogie here years ago when it was Deja Vu, got that vibe back again soon as I walked in the door. It's right on the Boardwalk so there's a ramp for wheelchairs. There are a few stairs inside so be careful when it's dark. Restrooms are readily available and nice. There street parking but also lots across the street but take care to park in a PUBLIC lot because there are businesses with private ones nearby. (You don't want to get towed.) They accept cash and cards at either of the 2 bars inside. Have a blast!

I’m going to give my review from a performers parent side of view. We were a part of the One Giant Leap Showcase this weekend. The venue: 5 stars, The workers/guards: 5 stars, The prices: 5 stars. But what made me have to lower it to 3 stars, sadly, the most important thing. The sound person. This is a music venue, so the sound is the most important thing. During a set, the band could not hear themselves and the guest couldn’t hear them. The vocalist pointed to the monitor, gave all the visual signs to turn up which was multiple. Nothing. She was on her phone most of the night. The vocalist even out the mic up to the amp to hopefully get feedback to get her attention. I believe a guest went up to her and again nothing. He screamed in the mic: Please turn my mic up! Something an artist performing should never have to do. I do think this venue would benefit from a sound person who cares about there job. Other than that fun time!

This property for this venue was previously a disco club making it a piece of Atlantic City History. Lots of regular shows with stuff you won’t see anywhere else in the area. They display a lot of local talent and have a great community of patrons and staff. Definitely a unique plays to hit in AC!

Fantastic space, staff and clearly a venue with vision. AC is not where I'd ever expect to see such weirdly brilliant artistry like Meridian Brothers and yet, once there, it felt right.

We threw a show at Anchor in February 2023. Dave on sound was great to work with. We worked with Greg on booking and he was very professional the entire process. They had a nice area for the bands, also had a shower. The night was a blast, will definitely be back! Ryan, Vocalist of Know Your Enemy

The Anchor is just a joy to visit. I have been going to see bands for decades and this is by far one of the best places for music I have been to. There is no bad vantage point and the space is so airy and open. Also the staff is friendly and fun. They seem to be happy knowing the customers are having a good time. I also recently went there for a memorial service. It was a beautiful, heartfelt event, made even more special by the bartenders and manager who were so kind. My friends and I agreed that when bands we like are touring we will go down to A.C. to the Anchor to catch them whenever possible.

My first time there was tonight and man it was great. I loved it... it's a great venue. Small and intimate. Had a blast! Saw Keep Flying, CLIFFDIVER and Less Than Jake!

It's a great venue for live music and shows amBUT if you're a vodka or gin drinker, they only have ONE craft liqour and nothing name brand! Sorry but I'd like a name brand cocktail with my show, not some local swill made in some guy's garage that tastes like horse pee. If you're a drinker, sneak a flask in - they don't pat down. Otherwise, avoid at all costs.

First time here, but we will be back! What a great spot - came to see a touring band play a stop in Atlantic City but will be keeping tabs on the upcoming events calendar for anything that sparks our interest. Parking is easy, inexpensive and readily available. Only a block away from the boardwalk. Looking forward to returning!
