We were able to get a last minute booking to the Sandpiper restaurant at the Hard Rock during our 4th of July weekend in AC. We wanted to catch the fireworks prior to eating dinner and got held up with the massive crowd on the boardwalk. Rescheduling from my mobile was a breeze and very accommodating. The Sandpiper restaurant offers an upscale dining experience. The ambiance was welcoming and friendly. Our server was extremely hospitable, engaging and attentive. She was also informational about the menu items and her service was exceptional. It turned out that the restaurant was brand new and had opened the day before for the first time. It was a privilege to be dining here on opening weekend. As for our dining experience, we had a couple of cocktails to celebrate our weekend and they were definitely tasty and refreshing. Our oysters were out of this world and packed with flavors. The combination of flavors left you wanting more so we ordered more :-). The stuffed clams were also delicious. For our main course, we had the lamb ribs which were superb and packed with flavor as well. These were definitely marinated for a while as indicated by our server. The roasted mojo chicken was a bit on the dry side hence the 4 stars. To finalize our dinner, we ordered the monkey bread. This offered an excellent end to an already wonderful evening. We ate it all and it was delicious. I would return just for the monkey bread :-). Google does not allow a fractional star but this can be a 5 star dining experience with a bit of improvement on the menu item mentioned above. I do recommend this restaurant and will be visiting again in the near future.

Food and atmosphere was amazing. The fried flounder was a great choice and the wait staff Lisa was super nice.

First time in Atlantic City and saw the reviews of this place. Definitely meets the 5 star rating! All the food was delicious and our server Norma was absolutely fantastic! I would recommend ordering 3-4 dishes to share between 2 people depending on how hungry you are. Will definitely be visiting again!

Excellent find inside the Hardrock Casino AC. We ordered the Duck Poutine Tots, Ahi Tuna Poke, Shrimp & Grits, and a fancy cheesecake thing. The service was great and everything we had was amazing!

Tapas style American food. The food was amazing and the staff was great. The diver scallops were huge and the flatbread with the steak were a big hit.

If you are in AC, and you need a fine dining experience at a reasonable price, then Sandpiper is the place to go. Everything on the menu was exquisite. They are small plates, but they are worth every penny. The tables are round, so it feels more intimate with your partner. Lisa, our server was knowledgeable, nice, and amazing to have. Thank you for an amazing evening.

Outstanding food. Share portions are small so prepare to order lot different dishes. Everyone very tasty. Their chocolate martini banging!!

I went here and it was amazing! I knew this place when it was Roberts and the successor is delicious. Fried flounder a must. I won't spoil it for you but it's amazing. This place rocks or at least it did when I went there. Staff super nice too. The pork tacos were great

Let me just say the food was over the top! Deliciously prepared by Chef John. The Spicy Mussels and the Agnolotti Pasta did not fail to impress. Our server Burke offered wonderful suggestions and was on point with the service. Al was also very pleasant. Highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy🙂

Our 1st visit in Feb. Had slight issue with one tapas entrée but our server Burke & Chris floor manager rectified it after some back & forth. The one meal was comped & a free dessert, excellent service from all staff & owner. Food is excellent! 2nd visit very recently & didn't disappoint, as I expected food, service, drinks were fantastic!!! Chef is on point with the menu, added some new items! Great to see Burke as our server & Chris floor manager stopping at our table, their such an asset to this establishment. Will always visit when in town & recommend to anyone.

Interesting place. Had lots of what I would call foo-foo food. Which is really hit or miss with me. Foo-foo food has uncommon ingredients and non-normal combinations, if you were wondering. Some worked for me, some didn't. But I still gave it 5 stars for the following reasons 1. We were a party of 5, and the other 4 really liked all the food 2. Service was great. Food came out quickly 3. The food felt like it was quality ingredients and tasted fresh 4. The shared dishes experience is great because if you don't care for something, there are other options. 5. Prices were reasonable for quality food. The shared dish experience: the food is put on table and you get your own plate. Dish out what you want. I love that idea to begin with, but particularly good at a place with foo-foo food because there are things you may want to try, but don't want to risk getting if your only plate. For those for which that does not appeal to them, you don't have to share.

10/10! This place was absolutely phenomenal. It is located inside the hard rock hotel in Atlantic City. The decor is beautiful, the ambience is romantic, definitely a great date night spot. Our waiter was super nice, helpful, and attentive. He made our experience even better. Let's move on to the food which was delicious. We got the grilled flatbread which came with beef filet, caramelized onions and mushroom, as well as, the Mediterranean lamb skewers which came with with this delicious green sauce ( we had to ask for more to dip the flatbread in). The prices are pretty fair for being an upper scale restaurant inside a hotel. I would definitely come back here and try something else.

This evening we were directed to the all you can eat pop up event because the seafood buffet was closed due to a private event. We were told it would be the same buffet in a different location. When we arrived we asked about the menu and were told they did not have the seafood buffet. We were highly disappointed that we were not told this before moving to the new location. The service was terrible and the food was very dried out when it arrived after several mixups. The staff seemed discombobulated and were arguing on the floor over which tables the food should go to. Sad experience

Reservations were easily made online. We arrived on time & were seated a few minutes later. Everyone was polite & smiled 👍. It was our first time there, the waitress explained the ordering process which was pretty cool. Portions were individual so we ordered several items. They’re delivered spaced apart. Chopped Salad was enough for 2, Guacamole nice with chips, Flatbreads & Sliders yummo. We were so full only had ice cream for dessert. Food was delicious except for the Seafood Cioppino. The Scallops & Shrimp were nice. Couldn’t find the lump crabmeat, we thought the mussels had no flavor and everything was drowning in Lobster Broth. Was not a good choice for us. Everything else was wonderful 👍
