🫤 Okay, as a seafood lover - this place doesn't make the cut.... the seafood was cooked with no seasoning and it such a small portion. The fried items were rubbery. The fried fish was good.

Great food & drinks!! I was unsure about eating here after reading all the bad reviews. But we ate here last week and the food was sooo good! The seafood was seasoned well and those potatoes Omg! Chef kisses lol The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, Because the menu didn't have many options.

Service was slow, however, the waiter did say it was his first day anyway, the food was good. I went back again and the service was quick this time, my crab legs were juicy, and the drinks were awesome!

We had a great experience eating here. The food was all around delicious. As a foodie person, their seafood is flavourful you can tell by how much spice they add into it specially with the shrimp we had. It was coated with spice and it was delicious. The crab legs and lobster were great and knowing usually you dip it in butter for flavor, is how you normally would eat it. Everything we ate was super amazing. We also had a great server as well. Its a nice restaurant to dine in and we def will be back..thank u!😚

I got food poisoning. This is my first and last visit to Rum Point Crab House. I booked for Thursday Jan. 20. The hostess was pleasant. The service could be better. My waitress could be more attentive. I asked three times for my butter that was spilled into my plate when it was first served. The all you can eat snow crab was bland and the shells were overly soft and later discovered had leech eggs on them. Yuk! The crab meat was water logged time after time even though I complained. My corn on the cob was overly soft and odd tasting. The prime rib was salty. I ordered it rare but it was medium well even though I reordered another cooked rare. I paid $226.00 for food poisoning.

The hostess was shown that special notes were listed to get a table by the window views of the water and upon arrival did not seat us as such for what she said was excuses that all the tables were already reserved and she didn’t believe it was on the comments box. So throughout the dining experience no one showed up for all the so called “reserved tables” and we ended up seeing a lot of empty seating. Lobster was overpriced too and the new waitress did nothing but rush for a mostly empty early dinner.

This place is definitely worthy of 5 stars for the delicious food. We ordered clam chowder, oysters roc”kale”feller, ribs, lobster and calamari appetizer, and pick and peel shrimp. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and our waiter Michael was kind and courteous. My only issue was the hostess and the food runner. The hostess should have been friendlier and more conscious of that fact that she sets the tone for your experience. The beginning and the end. The food runner dismissed my request for additional sauce then finally bought it out after another waitress basically chased him down. Overall, the experience was nice and I’d visit again.

Do not order the crab cake, it’s a hockey puck. You can tell the chef attempted to cook while the frozen. The Crab cake for sure not worth $28.99. The sliders where great.

We were looking for a place to grab drinks and hang out, so we stopped at Rum Point to give it a try. On first appearance the place looks fun and has a great view of the bay. Unfortunately the $14 strawberry basil lemonade cocktail was awful and no one knew how to make it. they asked to see my menu for the ingredients and then went to the back to locate the lemonade. It tasted like basil water. It had no flavor of strawberry, lemon, or vodka. My husband got a margarita and it was very sweet, probably made from premixed margarita. The bar top was extremely sticky, the wait staff/bartenders were no where to be found after they dropped off our drinks and the one other customer in the place was complaining to the manager about her bad raw seafood. I honestly stopped drinking my drink after a few sips for fear of getting sick, I would never eat here.
