This might just be one of the best places in the Omaha area to get sushi. The menu is chalked full of incredible sounding rolls, it’s honestly a little tough to just choose a few. There’s also Asian dishes and more on the menu for those who do not like sushi. The vide inside is nice and chill, the staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. To me, this is worth the drive across town. I’ve been here a handful of times and have yet to be let down.

This is absolutely the best sushi in town! They have a fantastic lunch special that comes with either 2 or 3 rolls, depending on what you want and soup or salad. The dressing on the salad is a ginger dressing and so good! I usually do the 2 rolls and a salad and then add a "special" roll. My favorite is the Out of Control roll. The service is great as well! Everyone is very friendly and attentive.

First time here and it was delicious! Will be coming back to check out the lunch menu.

I only ordered there because all of the other Chinese restaurants in the area closed at 9pm and they closed at 9:30. I'm glad I did! Very tasty Schezwan chicken, just the right amount of spice. The only complaint might be that it had a bit too much sauce. The egg drop soup was very good. It's just a bit pricier than other local places, but it does come with soup. The fried rice was just okay, a bit on the dry side. I'm definitely going to try this again.

Had a larger party, so had to wait a little longer than estimated, but the staff updated us and offered drinks while we waited. Staff was very friendly, food and drinks came out quickly. Food portions were good sized for the price. Highly recommend the chicken pad Thai and snow white roll.

Went out for sushi and this place was awesome! There was no delays getting seated putting in our order and getting the food. Everything tasted great! Will be coming back for sure

If you love sushi, there are two places in the Omaha metro that are outstanding: Yoshitomo and Umami. I go to Yoshitomo more often because it’s closer to me and because the owner/chef is remarkable and passionate. But Umami is perhaps equally as good. The reason is because the owner/chef was an apprentice to one of the best sushi chefs in the world (Jiro), and he knows how to select the right fish at market. Moreover, Umami has a great staff with great service. I always ask what’s fresh, and today I had fatty tuna, waygu, and sea urchin with fresh, real wasabi (hand-ground on a sharkskin cutting board. It was phenomenal. We are lucky to have such a high level of talent here in Omaha.

If I was on death row id eat their steak hibachi and miso soup for my final meal. Fast service even when they are insanely busy. The food is unreal. Meat cooked to perfection, prices are affordable, but the service and food are fine dining level. The location may look a little run down, but Umami will exceed your expectations.
