The gyro meat was very good here. I liked that it was more moist than a few other places I've tried. Their salad isn't traditional Greek (it has lettuce). I wasn't overly fond of the salad dressing. It was a red vinaigrette. Pricing is decent and the people are very friendly . Communication was a bit of an issue. I don't know how to explain it but there was a misunderstanding and it just wasn't clear. I tried to flag the server/cashier 3 times as she walked by but couldn't get her attention. Ultimately they seem like very nice people. I'd still go back and try more if I was in the area and was craving something like that.

The worker was a very nice and friendly guy. The special fry stuffed spicy supreme gyro wrap Turkish style was gigantic and yummy definitely enough for two. Will go again.

I was searching for somewhere to eat in Papillon. Far more than I realized in a compact area. All sorts of foods, but this place grabbed my attention. I love Gyros, and haven't been here. So, pulled up, went inside, and it has a style of Cafés of the past. I ordered with the gentleman behind the counter. I imagined he's the propieter. I ordered the Gyro combo, has fries and a drink $10.26 not bad. My food is set on the counter, and I sit down and take a bite of "HEAVEN" this food is fresh and piping hot! Just the way I like it! In fact the thick cut flies, were so hot, they melted the styrofoam plate a little. After, eating, and full, not stuffed. I talked to the man serving the food. I said to him "every Gyro place I've been to to in Omaha and surrounding areas, I've always left with a full belly" He says to me "we, (I assume the Greek people) want you leave not with an empty stomach" I thanked him, and asked about a picture, of an older man on the wall. He said the man in the picture, was his father. His father had purchased the business from another man, (I'm sorry I couldn't understand all of the details, I did my best. He has an accent i couldn't understand) But the just of it is, his father took it over at 62 years young, and kept working until the age of 89! All I can say is, if you like or love Greek food, stop in, I promise you'll be glad you did.

Got the gyro and fries meal. Food was cooked to order so small wait but made the food hot and fresh. Gyro was very good and the fries were crispy. Did not try the baklava but heard it is delicious. Restaurant interior could use a little updating but I go for the food.

Nice little family owned greek restaurant (27 yrs). Service was very friendly and helpful. Food was brought to the table quickly and was hot and freshly made. The gyros were tasty and the fries had perfect texture my picky daughter said the gyro pita was very good. The price is worth the value. I will be bringing my friends back.

First time and will be more times!! So ordered their new item Gyro Spicy Burger and it had just the right amount of kick! Thank you @greciangyros for a new lunch place as we normally are so busy we can’t sit down and enjoy especially on a Saturday!!

Stopped in for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. I tried the chicken gyro and side salad. Service was excellent and the food was fresh, flavorful and delicious.

Nice, family owned gyro place. Great people behind the counter. Cozy atmosphere with family history on the walls. Prices are competitive and the food portions are generous but not insane. Best thick crinkle cut fries I've had in a long time. And one of things I usually notice - old grease used in the fryer - was not a problem, unlike so many other restaurants. I will definitely be back and will take this place over King Kong any day of the week; not only is the food better, but the prices and portions are too!

Update! Stay far away from this place. It has changed for the worse. Ordered 4 gyro sandwiches to go and got home and couldn't even eat them. They were nothing but burnt crumbs in them. I've never had a gyro anything like it, just awful! Two young kids running the restaurant while we were there. Very polite nice kids but they should be ashamed of what they put in the to go bag. By far the worst I've ever had. If we had been dining in, I would have sent them back, and I never, ever complain in a restaurant. But these couldn't be eaten by anyone. We will never go back! You have been warned!!

Generally have excellent experience here, but recently it wasn't as great. The gyros we ordered out had an extremely scant amount of onions and tomatoes, the white sauce lacked its usual flavor and the pitas didn't appear to have been warmed on a grill first. I can, usually an outstanding experience. But this time it was subpar

Super cool place with good food. My body doesnt react very well to garlic so it can't be as frequent of a stop as I'd like but it's definitely worth it. The building interior reminds me of Dairy Chef visually. Pepsi products. Helpful and friendly people behind the counter.

WOW what an improvement ❤️ came here about a 4 yrs ago & honesty wasn’t impress & we started going to one in Bellevue. Then decided to try Grecian 1 more time & was soooo much better. Flavor was savory & fries were nice & crispy & not limpy. Service was very pleasant & made you feel welcome & it was so much cleaner. I would recommend this place highly very reasonable prices. Very causal dress & it’s a good place for children.

Went here for the first time today. Overall the people are friendly has an old school feel to the place. The food was priced fairly and I thought it was pretty good, it would be nice if the to go cups were bigger tho. . I will go here again.

I got the Gyro Supreme with mushrooms and jalapenos. Instead of fries I got the jalapeno potato poppers. My daughters shared a burger and fries while my wife had the Shawarma and hummus. The fooddidn't take long to get out and it was fresh when it came to the table. All the food was really good. The gyro with the jalapenos had a nice kick and I put some hot sauce on it for good measure. The jalapeno potato poppers were excellent and I'm glad that I opted for them. The girls enjoyed the burger and fries and my wife said that the Shawarma was delicious. The pita chips that come with the hummus are freshly made and she said they made the hummus even better. The owners are cool and helpful. This was my second time at the restaurant and I will for sure go again. I was stuffed when we left.

I was sad to learn this place had closed. I grew up in the neighborhood behind their location and went there for years until I left the state. I had always meant to go back but I'm sad to see that's not possible. Thank you for the great food and the memories. I've always compared the gyros I've eaten since then to yours and there have only been two that can compete. Good luck!

I have been eating at Grecian Gyros for 20 years and have never had any complaints other than Norm (the original owner) moving to a different recipe for one of the sauces. He is gone now and his daughter runs the place, and her customer service is stellar. She is friendly and goes out of her way to know her customers is give them only the best. The place is not elegant, high-end, or spacious, but is the place to go for authentic Greek food served by quality people.

Service was friendly. Portions were overpriced. Spanakopita was doughy Alf cut up into tiny pieces for whatever reason, I'm unsure. Disappointed, once again, in the Greek foods offered in this area.

Not even close to real Greek food! The meat was heavily processed, the zaziki tasted like it came out of a bag. My salad had 2 1/2 inch cubes of feta cheese, 3 olives, 2 slices of cucumber and 4 half slices of tomato! Paid a bunch of money for a bunch of iceberg lettuce! Do not recommend!
