This is a great park if you like sports or swimming. This very large 70 acre park is open every day from sunrise to sunset. Next to the entrance are four lighted basketball courts and a small playground structure with baby swings. Around the well marked park you will find 2 lighted baseball fields, 6 lighted multipurpose fields, 2 lighted softball fields and 1 lighted T-ball field. In the center of the park is the Family Aquatic Center where you will find a 50-meter, 8 x 20 lanes heated outdoor swimming pool. There's also a children wading pool, an interactive water playground and a 2 story water tower with 3 slides. There are showers and lockers. Swim classes for children are offered at the aquatic center. To the left of the main entrance are 6 lighted tennis courts and 4 lighted racquetball/handball courts. The park also has a larger playground and a picnic shelter with grills. Near the playground is the Armed Forces memorial. There are 5 flags representing the 5 branches of the armed forces and a monument marker with the names of fallen heroes. Contrary to the name there is no lake view and there are no nature trails which is what I look for in a park. However if you are into athletics this is a wonderful park and the pool is a very nice feature. You can picnic, exercise, and play. This is also a very safe place to teach a child to ride a bike.

The reason for the one star is for how utterly disappointing the lack of care for kids safety there is. This facility has a very tight net volunteer staff that will break all rules and regulations, just to keep there volunteers on staff regardless of there behavior towards paying parents. Be sure if you disagree with their staff you will be kicked off the field even if you have not broken any parent rules. Coaches and volunteers are allowed to strike at paying parents or any person with no repercussions to this staff members or volunteers. I can not express how much the place and protection of the volunteers and coaches have a higher priority then kid's safety and the lack of disappointing training for some of their coaches have or the whole staffing for that matter. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this for any sport especially for football.

Its a very relaxing place nice park for kids they even have a pool, baseball fields and a soccer field and its easily accessible to any and everyone.. Its a nice park to have a family gathering or to just go for a walk.

The deck looks like it has monkeypox, absolutely disgusting. Don't dare stub your toe on it or you'll be visiting the ER for a complete amputation of your lower torso. The county rakes in tax money, but can't find a decent contractor to lay a new deck. I'd rather go for a walk on sterile glass shards then to lay foot on this diseased waste land. The staff's nice though.

This is a beautiful Park lots of security at this part plenty of Sheriff's officers there beautiful Monument in respect to our fallen heroes very well done very peaceful property is very well maintained the ball fields are well kept the pool is clean very nice I enjoyed my time there

Visited today, very nice big pool... slides were closed due to not being the right time... so we will have to come back for those!!

Since the last month the restroom stall has so many doing the football games nobody cleaning up the that's all county parks with sports

It's a nice park to walk to, and hang out with friends and family.

Great fields. It has tennis and pickle ball as well. Swimming pool too.

When I come here and there is room for everybody, this place is the best.
