I stayed at the Green Apartments 8 years ago and again, it did not disappoint! The room was large and clean, a washing machine and dryer on the grounds and lovely staff. Thank you Emilio for your food suggestions and help. It is a bit of a walk from the main area (Plaka etc), but the area is quiet for a good night's rest. You can order a taxi from the apartments to the main area for about 5 euros.

Christina is a friendly host, and will pinpoint you to some of the best areas for you to visit. She walked us around the apartments and made us feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this place to stay. It was our first time and I made a right choice at staying here. You won’t regret it and will thank me later. I always encourage respect and politeness wherever I go and always have a great time, so I invite you to do so. Enjoy this place!!!

Great apartment located in a fabulous area in central Athens. The apartment was in pristine condition upon arrival, check in done in timely fashion by extremely friendly and welcoming hosts. Was very pleasantly surprised to find a very welcoming, modern apartment, in perfect harmony with the pictures posted on the website (surprisingly). What I loved the most about it was a large balcony overseeing a quiet, cosy patio where i enjoyed my morning coffee. The overall condition of the apartment and appliances was flawless, but what really made the difference for me was the attention to detail and assistance offered to the guests - I had the option to order breakfast, arrange transfers and most importantly I could contact the hosts at any time in case of emergency, which was very important for me as I was travelling on my own. Luckily, no emergency situations happened during my stay – weather was great so I had a wonderful time exploring the city centre by e-bike, had fantastic food outside of the tourist areas following very useful recommendations from the hosts and really got to know the city. Overall, i'd very much recommend AGA to those of you in search of a 'home away from home' when visiting a new country. Likely to come back soon!

I stayed here with a group of 12 people, and I would absolutely recommend it. The space was fabulous and the managers were fantastic hosts. They left plenty of breakfast supplies in our rooms and everything was wonderful. They seemed genuinely concerned about our comfort. The shared courtyard is lovely, and it was fantastic to have a laundry facility on-site. You should be aware that the apartments are part of a larger residential building, and that it is located at the top of a large hill with many stairs. It was no problem for us, and we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic place to stay. The rooms were nice and I enjoyed the unique bathroom. Great little courtyard to sit outside and very quiet too. Neighborhood is great with lots of good restaurants and less crowded/touristy area. Also, the staff were very helpful and have great communications skills. I was impressed. Just a very well run property overall

Old property. Just the basics. If you get a good deal, book it. I wouldn't pay more than 60euro per day for a single room.

Lovely studio apartment on a quiet street just 20 minutes walk to the Acropolis. Lots of nice restaurants and bars on the doorstep and Emilio recommended some delicious places to eat. There’s a little shared courtyard that’s very cute and laundry facilities. The bed was comfy and it’s quiet at night as it’s tucked away from the main streets so no pub noise or traffic. Friendly host who genuinely care about your stay with them. I needed a blanket - no problem. I asked for a taxi - no problem. There was a bug in my room I was scared to touch ;) - no problem!

Having tried a lot of accommodation options in Athens, this is definitely the best experience I have had, and one I would recommend with no hesitation. I will probably be returning myself. Location 10/10: both walking distance to the heart of the city (Syntagma, Acropolis, Forum, Monastiraki etc) and in a lovely neighbourhood with food/nightlife options. Room 10/10: clean, fresh, comfortable, and providing all one needs, with access to a cute private courtyard. Hosts 10/10: very friendly and professional, extremely accommodating, always happy to provide suggestions and facilitate your stay.

Athens Green Apartments made our stay in Athens an excellent one. We would highly recommend staying here! Emilio and Kosmas were extremely helpful and friendly both before and during our visit. Do yourself a favour and listen to all of their recommendations for food and drinks - we had the best food and drinks in Athens within a 2 - 3 minute walk from Athens Green Apartments based on their recommendations. While we enjoyed visiting the more touristy Plaka and Monastiraki areas, we were grateful to return after a day of sightseeing to the Pangrati neighbourhood. There are also excellent sites to see in the neighbourhood including the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation (art gallery). Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. They also helped with our transfers which made the trip smooth. Thank you, Emilio and Kosmas, for making our trip such a special one!

This is the second time I stay here. And I will again. Good value. Great location! Excellent hospitality. Nearby restaurants, bars etc. At the edge of Pagrati, which is a vibrant neighborhood and near or walking distance to many atractions.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms and a gorgeous little garden in the middle (and cats!). Touristic sites easily accessible.

Really artistic and well appointed rooms in a superb location. Palaces, parks, museums, shopping, cafes, restaurants and archeological sights are very close, but you are in a quiet area with a feeling of detachment from the busy tourist areas. Emilio and Kosmas are fantastic hosts and bend over backwards to make your stay special. Highly recommend for business trip or city break in Athens.

Loved our stay here. It is the second time I have stayed and it is where I want to stay again when I go back to Athens. Kosmas and Emilios are so attentive and welcoming. They are the perfect hosts and demonstrate that wonderful hospitality embedded in Greek culture. i can’t say enough good things about our experience staying here. The location is great… central to everything and the apartments are on a quiet street which is wonderful too. Loved our apartment and it had everting we needed for our two week stay.

The host was so nice, he provided us recommendations and helped arrange transport to and from the airport. He was such a happy, welcoming person! The room we had was small but perfect for 2. The bed was VERY comfortable, the room was super clean, wifi was great. Overall an awesome place to stay and we would come back in a heartbeat!!

I gave two stars to this hotel because of the kind and lovely stuff. The rooms were old and there was a dangerous staircase. The location was fine. Furthermore the Wi-Fi connection was unstable and it was impossible to cook in the rooms (although we didn’t try it, it seemed to be unuseful. The rooms were somewhat clean. Needs some improvement!

Love this spot -- beautiful, comfortable, cool rooms in an excellent location. Amazing backyard and extraordinarily hospitable and helpful staff. They made it easy for us to check in late and check out when we needed to, without any issues at all. We'll be back!

Everything about Athens Green apartments is perfect. We loved our stay and wished we were staying longer. The brothers that run the apartments are awesome human beings and clearly love what they do. We enjoyed talking with them. The apartments are in the heart of an incredible art community. Come here to be inspired or just stay in a spacious room in a great location.

My husband and I stayed here and it was great from the customer service to the location. Our studio was super clean and smelled so good. They have a laundry and provided laundry soap as well. Maria(receptionist) help us with tour bus, restaurant, places to go and she also send some things we forgot in the room back to our country.
