Food that looks better than it tastes, in fact it was very average. Fish was pretty tasteless and the mayo was overwhelming. The buns were OK, the noodles had way too much sauce. Contrary to what they claim to be, not friendly for little children. The one waitress they had the night we went was the highlight - very nice and attentive.

Used to be a favourite for delivery. Last experience was a bit disappointing. Prices up, portion size smaller. I am willing to spend for good quality and value. You guys fell a little short of the bar. Example: orange duck salad was tasty but very little duck and very small size considering the price. Hoping for improvement. Thx.

My wife and I love sushi, but we are very particular on the quality of sushi we can eat. Boa is some of the best sushi we have had anywhere in the world. It is quality every time we visit. We love the friendly staff, who always treats us and our daughter so well. We also love their noodles and poke bowls. Before trying Boa, we visited a few other restaurants for sushi around Athens. Now, we cannot possibly go anywhere else! It is one of our favorite treats in the city!

Let me start with the positives: The place is nice to have dinner and drinks. Judging from the first (and only) time I went there a few days ago, the personnel where kind and courteous, served us with a smile and were very attentive to all our requests. The dishes we ordered looked nice. I am giving them 3 stars because, as with most "japanese" restaurants in Athens and around, the quality is no near that of a "true" japanese restaurant which I have experienced in other cities globally. The Makis and Uramakis would be tasteless without the rice that fills your mouth and stomach, the mayo and other sauces etc. Actually the fish in the sashimis did not taste anything particular. The fish in the sashimi was slightly cold which means attention to that kind of detail is not there. I must repeat that it is very difficult to find a decent Japanese let alone Asian restaurant in Greece so I am writing this review with a little of heavy heart because the place is kind of "cool" and the people working there nice. For those who care about tasting authentic Japanese food, this place has a lot to learn and I cannot understand the high marks this place gets, just shows that people are not much experienced with foreign cuisine and are satisfied with "easy", "palatable" tastes. Probably many people value the vibe more than the food: As a foody and a amateur cook the vibe and set up is the things I care the least for. Restaurants in Greece should stick with traditional Greek food where we really excel :)

One of the best sushi restaurants in Athens! The service is impeccable, the sushi has always been fresh (dined at night twice) and very tasty. The armosphere of the place and the overall service was spectacular! Highly recommended and in a great location if you want to go out for a drink afterwards.

Usually good quality, the last few times the quality of the preparations, proportions and slices of the sushi were unprofessional and it was more mixing the ingredients together than sushi. Sushi requires precision which I didn’t find at Boa. Other than that it’s ok.

Nice people and a great location. Many bars in this shared space area which is a fun late night spot. The food was fine, not anything close to some of the better sushi places I’ve been but perhaps this is the standard for Greece? Not expensive. Would return again.

A lovely sushi place hidden from the street but in the middle of the area called 'the island'. I liked the starters of chicken kitsu, the bao bans and rolls. The on the mixed sashimi platter the salmon was good. The beat dish was the noodle bowl. Good place for fusion comfort food.

I never was one for fish bait so the hesitant semi-forced evening out actually turned into a wonderful surprise. Started off bare minutes after ordering with the best spring rolls I had ever eaten and then it just kept getting better with tastes which I can only describe as marvelous. Sorry. Couldn't even pronounce the names. The only slight let down was the sake which I expected to have more of an oomph to it but was more subtle as it eventually turned out. Be warned. The people running the place were another very positive aspect of the whole experience and the prices were outstanding and completely unexpected. Thank you so much for an all around wonderful experience.

I've been ordering sushi from Boa for a while now and loving it. This was the first time though that we came to eat at the restaurant. The experience was far better than the takeaway. Excellent sushi, well presented and served, great staff and great drinks. Hands down recommended!
