I had a great experience staying here. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Sony, Sharath and Gokul have done a great job preparing food and serving us all day. Our requests were considered and granted us immediately. Kids had wonderful experience. I recommend this.

Didn't stay here... At 1:30pm, On my way, I entered the hotel asking the security if the Restaurant is open.. and the answer was Yes. The hotel manager made us wait in the lobby for about 20 mints after which they lead us to 2nd floor saying the restaurant is ready... However it was, just a small room with 2 tables and dome chairs and 1 waiter wad waiting for us to order the food... Menu card is not available due to some reason... we ordered the food and waited for 1 hr 30 mints... During this time we got 1 lime juice for my son. At 3pm we left the hotel with empty stomach... Very very bad experience... I will not recommend this place to anyone.... Just paid 500 rupees and left to nearby Restaurants...

We booked for new year from 30th December to 2nd January. It is highly overpriced they are charging 14k per night and not even providing basic necessity items like fresh and clean towel everyday. Food toh forgot only. They will take hours to give food and then also first rice then after 1 hour curry. This is in the restaurant service. Forgot room service even to deliver tea they took 1 hour. Very worst experience never ever stay here and become a fool. They don't have swimming pool also.

I had a fantastic experience at Palazzo restaurant. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was charming. I had a very good experience. I have stayed for two nights. the service which I had was very good. the staff's are very polite and good behavior. Then the food was excellent. and also they are providing Shikara boating and kayaking which is worthy and affordable price. we have enjoyed alot.

Had a very pleasant stay with my family. Kid friendly with plenty of amenities. They boast a grand view of backwaters and have boat riding and kayaking options. Kids will have a great time. Food is 4/5. The resort is in a remote location so transportation options are limited, but hotel staff were courteous enough to provide hotel taxi.

We booked with Breakfast and non of the dishes was served hot and on complain even to the GM, it was told that let's first finish the remaining kept there, then fresh will be refilled. Is this the hospitality service. I won't recommend anyone to plan stay for this resort.

Beautiful amenities! A lovely Lake attached to the Hotel where you can do Boating snd Kayaking.A clean blue water swimming pool. An outside Lawn for Events. Well - appointed Rooms, clean Linen, good for relaxation.Very good food.

Vakkom Palazzo is a very good resort in Varkala. The best part is the kayaking activity that is offered there . The resort is well located adjacent to a lake. The pool is so nice. The rooms and service is also great. When you go kayaking you'll be able to visit a temple nearby as well.. the cost of rooms and food are not very costly as well.

Well maintained pool and play/patry area. Rooms looks new. Fairly spacious rooms. Observed delay while switching to power back up. Otherwise good. Value for money. Strongly recommend.

The resort had beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere I recently stayed at Vakkom palazzo for my new year on 31st Dec and it was an amazing experience. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean.The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the amenities like the swimming pool were top-notch. We have travelled to varkala in package, and stay in this hotel... Quality of food good , got my Gujarati test, service for food is also good....... behaviour of food court main person Sony is really good.Rooms and room service are also good.

The hotel is good, rooms are good. But the restaurant service is pathetic. Veg and nonveg is served on the same counters, no labels on the food wether it is veg or nonveg. Because of this we ate food which contained egg in it and we are pure veg. The dessert fruit salad was very bad. The fruits had rotten and were smelling bad. I don't know how this hotel has 3-4 stars . After the hotel manager Mr. Das read the review , he had the audacity to come and argue with us about the ratings. And he blamed us that it was our mistake. Atleast the manager should have the courtesy to apologise and accept the mistake. Very pathetic behaviour from Mr. Das, because of you I am changing my review from 2 start to 1 star. You deserve this.

Reception was warm and very friendly. We randomly chose this hotel and we are so happy. Sony (no not the tech co) was funny and attentive. All round we had a fabulous time. India remains just brilliant. We also had the most fantastic time on the houseboat on a cruise of Lake Panayil Kadavu. We really relaxed with some wine and the captain asked of for our favourites tracks to play. We had our best lives!!

We, a group of 24 members on 22nd of July 2023 assembled at Vakkom Palazzo for a family get together. It was really a unique experience. We were thrilled by the hospitality experience of the management and staff. The location, the greenery around, the background of lake and the jolly boating, swimming at the pool were all captivating. Above all the sumptuous and tasty dinner was super. The reception and behaviour of the staff members were highly congenial for our variety entertainments we enjoyed. The Manager Mr Das and all staff members were highly supportive and cooperative. I recommend Palazzo for any one day outing or family get together. We were given a room which was also neat, tidy and cozy. I give 5.0 for hospitality. 5.0 for beauty and cleanliness of the spot, 5.0 for delicious food. Ramesan K K

I stayed here for 2 days, the service was damn good. I booked via MMT, final price came around ₹7k for 2 nights/ 2 per for suite room along with complimentary breakfast. I suggest this hotel if you have your own vehicle as it is quite away from main city (15 min travel from beach) and they also provide kayaking which was very good. ₹650/per person. Overall a peaceful and hassle free stay.

Property has amazing packages and great quality fresh sea food options. Our Kids had a wonderful time and enjoyed the properties 3 hour shikara boat cruise around the vakkom anjuthenghu lake towards muthalapozhi. They have a good variety of games for kids in the property. Very friendly and well mannered staff. Overall had an excellent 2 day break in the property.

The hotel looks standard than other hotels, from my experience especially their rooms are pleasent and comfortable to a hotel standard I mostly loved the staff behaviour .having no beach view isn't a problem having a very good backwater with boating is amazing in this place the golden island is fantastic

Amazing trip. Can't recommend enough. Vakkom palazzo is really nice, you see so much without spending too long on the boat. Food was the best we've had on any tour in Trivandrum. kayaking experience with Ramesh and his team was the highlight of our kerala trip in summer. kayaks and the whole plan and schedule was well organised and very comfortable. For a first-timer on a kayak, this could very well be the most enjoyable way to learn it! Whether you are an Indian or a foreign national..Be it a budget trip, a luxury trip or a family holiday, this backwater kayaking is not to be missed to experience the backwaters and the quiet, green, from up close. The route we rowed was also surprisingly very clean, quiet and beautiful. This hotel is large and well located. Prices seem reasonable at this level. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is excellent be at the fantastic breakfast or dinner in the evening, made more enjoyable by the personal staff.

Went here for a weekend with friends, and had an amazing experience. The place is very warm and hospitable. It is tugged in a peaceful area of Varkala. The place was very safe and staff was very courteous and friendly. We were also delighted on reaching the hotel as we were offered a complimentary boat ride, and it was a great experience. The complimentary breakfast was also great. The Manager Joseph Vinod is very kind and helpful. On the day of checkin we were running little late and he was kind enough to check whether we had dinner or not. Also, I had forgotten some items at hotel and I am thankful to him to parcel them back to me. Made a second visit to the place and the place has become even more Beautiful. They have a great swimming pool and facilities for kayaking, and house boat. The front desk was also very helpful and cooperative, they were very accomodative and cater to all our requirement. Like provision of swimming dress and made quick availibility of kayaks for us #MustVisit
