First time at this course and I was not let down. Course was in good shape and staff was friendly. And for being a public course I was amazed that there was no trash laying around like other public course. Will be back again to play

Been going there for almost 10 years, no issues till Sunday May 21, 2023. In the past sometimes I make a tee time for myself, and may join a group or play by myself. Never a problem until yesterday with your club house attendant. I go late afternoon on Saturday or Sunday to get some practice in. Go in yesterday to pay the attendant and he says they don't usually take tee times for 1, that normally I would have to practice putting and ask a group to join. I had never had that happen in my almost 10 years coming there. Second, I showed the starter my purchased receipt, he says it looks like I picked it up off the ground insinuating I did not pay. Totally insulting from someone who is usually pretty nice guy. What's going on there? My tee time was 4:15. To the Manager, you have a great facility, but need to remind the staff of negative comments like those shouldn't be tolerated. If your staff don't want me to play I can take my money somewhere else and will let the others know who I do play with there of such treatment. Spoiled my rest of the day.

Awesome course. For the first time I walked all 18 holes. No waiting at any holes. The price was very reasonable for the weekend. The course was well maintained. Loved the wide open fairways.

This is a great track. This course has every kind of shots you could want. The sand in the bunkers is very playable. Not being used to the slower greens my putting wasen't leading up to many pars. Over all I can't wait to return and have another go at those greens. I'm sure I'll do better. The course is beautifully contoured and kept up very well. Can't wait to have another go. Give your greens keepers a thumbs up. Great job.👍

Highly underrated! Feels like a “city course” but it’s very well maintained and fun! Seems like it’s always green and not without its challenges. Some nice, long par 5s that you wouldn’t expect, outside looking in. Big fan of this course. You can tell this place has some history as the clubhouse probably hasn’t been updated since the 60s or 70s, maybe earlier. Kinda charming. Carts however… eh. Most don’t come with a windshield and you’re hard pressed to find one in good shape. Pretty rough carts but the game isn’t about the ride. If you’re on the fence about this place, just go and try it. You’ll fall in love with it like I did, regardless of its rough- edge accents.

The best thing about PCC is not the beautiful fairways, greens and gardens, and they are, it's the family and staff that work there. The best, hands down, they welcome all like a new family member. Great place!

This is a nice little golf course that I had never visited before. You can tell it is older because the holes are very close together but it is in great shape and the staff are fantastic. You have to try the hot dogs they are delicious. The cart people only have beer and seltzers. We would come back even though the carts are ancient.

I've mostly played this course in 70s,80s and 90s. Played 18 today and my buddy Ed DeRose and we were impressed with improvements, great condition and meticulous upkeep. Love that the course nurtures walking and pull carts w/ paths and bridges. Good $ value, $30 18 w/ cart. We are coming back often this spring and summer. Keep up the great work!

Had a 3:40 tee time on a Saturday, arrived at 3:15 only to be told we couldn’t take a cart!! They closed the cart barn early to go home. Went inside and the pro shop was closed, we were told we couldn’t play. Unbelievable, would have been ok if we just showed up. Complete disrespect of the system in place, you make a tee time in advance for planning. We could have booked somewhere else! Very frustrating. Edit in response to owners reply: Saturday 11/5, we ended up playing Crystal lake - the weather was fine just windy.

Lots of beautiful memories of this lovely golf course. You are treated like family and the food in the restaurant is good. When friends and family visit from out of town this is where they want to play golf.

Really nice layout. Each hole presents a little different challenge. Needs updating and TLC of the course would help alot.. Greens were slow and grainy. Wouldn't mind going there again but it would need some great improvement for me to drive from Grand Rapids to that course again.

Decent course for the price! Grass was a little tall and it was a bit chaotic with people yelling. Keep your head up too, fairways are close and there are lots of stray balls.

I like playing this course. I usually shoot well here. It just fits my eye and my game. I'm really crazy about the senior rate. It is still very affordable for us on a fixed income.

No frills but plenty of thrills. Great bang for your buck. Underrated layout. Great walking course.

Pontiac country golf club - except leaves all over course maintained decent. 18 holes Walking and cart back to back slow down the pace. Proshop staff and starter had great service. Front has sand bunkera pretty much all holes and back has trees challenges. Overall good experience and will visit again

Nice course layout and mostly in great condition, especially for Nov in MI! Prices are usually better than most courses in the area.

Good course, really cool layout. Carts need updating, (especially for the rate) and need to focus on not overbooking. Other than that, good round.

Said I could book a tee time after leagues ended. Showed up and they would not let me book, old guy at the pro shop was extremely rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend coming here ever.
