Lovely beach to go for a walk, went for a walk at sun rise at low tide. Lots of bird life running around, and many shells on the beach to look at. There are quite a few benches along the beach to sit and watch the sun rise. Will definitely be back to go for a swim at high tide.

Go to beach on a Friday afternoon. High Tide good for swim. Low Tide is very low.

Awesome Beach

Great beach 2 hrs on either side of high tide. Very accessible and safe. Check swim safe after big rain downpour. Great place for family. Bathroom and toilets at end of beach with mini park where lots of shade available when sunny.

23/01/2023 10am to 11.30am East end near Public toilets and showers, there were picnic tables, Public BBQ's, grass and tree coverage, nice beach for the children at low tide, beach shoes needed if you are going out for a swim, there is a Dairy & Cafe midway.

Eastern Beach is one of the many tremendous beaches to soend the afternoon at. We do this now and again and its always great!

This is a great family friendly beach. It's quite long so plenty of space to get a spot normally. Has some restaurant and cafe's around for a quick bite or to get some refreshments. The NZ flag is also mounted on a little wall running into the water that is surrounded by water on high tide which is quite unique.

Flat sandy beach, with great views of the islands. Good for swimming and other water sports. Plenty of parking on the road side. There's a playground near the middle, BBQ area and carpark at one end. Toilets down this same end also. It can get quite busy during summer months. Boat ramp further down towards the BBQ end of the beach

Beautiful swimming beach

Beach is flat, so you can view your kids while laying down. Only at the end of road next to car park you can have some shades, which might be very busy on sunny day. But it is good for fun kayak and SUP board.

It is a beautiful beach and lots of car parks on the road. Daily shops and lovely Japanese and Indian cuisine are around the corner. There is a hotel too. It is a very good idea to date or get away from Auckland

Long and beautiful beach in the East of Auckland. It has a few nice cafes and takeaway restaurants and a lovely park at the end of the beach with picnic areas.

A lovely, safe beach. Very flat so safe swimming beach for kids and learners. A dairy right next to the beach, very convenient to grab an ice cream or a Fruju! 🌊 🍦

Good beach for families. Small surf makes it good for paddle boarding and sea kayaks. Sandy Beach makes for good and safe place for small kids too. Very popular for sun bathers. Bring some 😎 and hat and shade. Lovely soft sand. This beach is a real favourite. Food and drinks and local Cafe and life savers have a cafe for ice creams, burgers and much more. 5 star beach! Leave the ghetto blaster at home! This is not that kind of beach. Also, take a lead for your well behaved and friendly dog. Bring doggie bags, people are outspoken here and love this beach!!!

Nice long beach. The footpath is only on one side, otherwise you'll need to walk on grass or sand. Nice place for a walk or swim. There is currently an advisaory against taking any shellfish from there though. There are a few restaurants along the Esplanade. There is a boat ramp closer to the playground/McLeans Park end of the beach so be careful when swimming there.

This is a nice beach at the east side of Auckland, where you can walk long around with the low tide.

Park is a wonderful spot during all 4 seasons. 1 close shop Park for kids not in park area Walkways access Wheelchair Access Minimum carparking in area Area is child friendly Toilets in area Loses 1 star No park BBQ which would be the mising item @ park Always check tide before heading out for a better result Plenty of park benches and seperate areas 8/10
