Awesome splash pad with a great playground as well (more than whats in the photo). Not a lot of shade but new trees have been planted for the future. There's also a skate park, a court and public toilets. Kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and didn't want to leave.

Def one of the coolest parks. The water play gives it something different and its a lot of fun on a hot day. But be sure to take a towel with you. Has a good range of equipment for all ages.

This park was not well planned out. All the kids activities are squashed into 1 corner of this big field. Swings slides sand pit scooter road are all in 1 small area, when a child is using the scooter road they need to be careful of kids running between activities. There is a basketball court that could do with 2 more hoops as there is space for them unlike the park area. There is also 2 skate/bike which are bigger than the park and a sand volleyball Court. And the parking is poor and dangerous if you have to park on the road be careful unloading the kids. I drove for 35 minutes to take my grandson to this park and I was disappointed with the outlay of the kids park and parking. The council needs help to design parks.

Beautiful big park and splash pad. Great for the kids. Not much shade but plenty of grass if you have your own. Massive skate park behind it. Public toilets and public bbq available. 1 large gazebo type area if you get in quick. Beautiful beach themed. Volleyball pit with heavy duty net. And nice spongey padding under most of the play areas. Would definitely recommend for an afternoon out with the kids.

The Kid's love this park as do I, my only issue would be the lack of shade. The water features are enough to get you Giggles and lot of laughter. Swing's slides, BBQ area basketball and volleyball courts to use and enjoy

I lived in this house at 26 Hardman st from 1960 for about 20 years. I visited the area last Friday & it sure has changed. Brought back many memories. The Oakley park I remember but not as I is now

One of the best water parks in Auckland if its not the only one. Has a fairly large playground, a skate and bike park, large field, basketball court, netball court, sandpit, canopy & bbq, can even take a nice walk around it, under the motor way and over a bridge. Made a lot of memories here and plenty more to come.

The children love it there. The slide is always a hit and each time they visit they discover something new to do. This time our 5 year old boy found the bucket and pulley where he can load up with sand then send it down the chute. The sit-on digger was a good challenge for his coordination skills.

I love this skatepark. It's beautiful and clean, excellent playground for the kids, and a nice little waterpark for the little ones. There's a volleyball court on the sand, a basketball court, and lots of shade and beautiful trees. Excellent skateboard bowl. Great place for a picnic with the whanau. Lovely garden setting. Ice cream truck comes around in the morning and afternoon. There's a big wooden gazebo for big families. Just need to go early in the morning around 10 am to get a good parking spot.

Still a great place to bring the kids. Water play, adventure playground, bmx-style cycling track, b-ball court, area for touch or volleyball and a pergola style eating area, whats not to love about this place?!! 😁 Didn't really want to post a review cos it's already heavily utilized. This may work against me by exposing this "hidden gem".πŸ€”πŸ˜’ Only area for improvement is there are not enough toilets for this reserve.

Kids had an awesome time, def take a towel n change clothes. And there isn't much seating so a blanket for the grassy area is helpful.

Great for a family outing. There is something for everyone. Playground with water features, a bike track, basketball court, skate park and a bbq. Just needs a little more sun shelter.

Kayaking Paradise! Shallow waters, easy to kayak. Plenty of shade as well. Best place to explore mangroves. Highly recommended! Been here only once, will go again! Personally loved it. Clean white beach accessible only by water!! Some litter here and there. Pls don't litter, help clean up if you can. :)

Beautiful,New-ish park/playground area with ample grass for the family pets to burn off some energy If those are you're needs. Please know I share this information reluctantly as I feel that this particular spot is not so popular/busy and let's be honest, always adds a minimum 2 points to any location. Make the most off it before the word spreads πŸ€«πŸ˜‰πŸΆ

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Wonderful place for the kids, with alot of safety measures taken but be ware it's not an enclosed park and it might be risky if the kids will run out to the road. But generally it's a fun place for the kids and an open space for the adults.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ One amazing place for anything to do with kiddos. Be ready to spend at least couple of hours here, playing on playground, exploring hidden spots of the park (beach included) and enjoying spectacular views of Auckland.
