I went here first time today, and really liked their food. I like Indian curry but I'm not familiar to Indian street food, so it was difficult to imagine what kind of dish it was based on the name of the menu item(all dishes were explained well in English with ingredients though, still difficult), but it was fun to try. I ordered Wednesday curry, Aloo paratha, and Indian lemonade. Aloo paratha came with Raita the yogurt sauce, butter and green chili pickles, and I really liked them.Indian lemonade was very different for me from usual lemonade, with spice and salty taste, but enjoyed a lot. Staff were nice, kind and helpful. Thank you.

A great place to get a small bite to eat. Lots of vegan options available. The vada pav is a filling little snack, packing a lot of heat. They also serve breads, curries, and drinks at times.

Totally worth it. Great place to eat pure Desi food. Had Aloo paratha reminded of Murthal and with Kular tea not a tea person but it was yummy. Then thought of having Vada Pao it was like I am standing in Mumbai. Great food guys must try and staff is nice and humble.

Awesome place for a quick bite or lunch/dinner options. Speciality is their kulhad chai- an authentic earthenware pot used to serve Masala tea and what's more...you can take the kulhad home! Love their parathas, laddoos, Mumbai vadapao and selected veggies of the day. Ultimate VFM. I've enjoyed their food thoroughly while studying at the City Central Library during business school.

β€œ Good things come in small packages” - holds true for this Tiny Indian takeaway just off Queen street. This joint serves a limited yet popular Indian snack / comfort food. The β€œKulhad” mudpot chai and the vadapav are favorites here and so are mine. In my opinion - they serve one of the best vadapav in Auckland. Available extra spicy on request - and it really packs a punch. Lovely staff. Highly recommend this for a quick bite.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the paneer burger, and I must say it was absolutely delicious. The combination of the soft and flavorful paneer patty with the fresh vegetables and tangy sauce was a match made in heaven. The paneer patty itself was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and a melt-in-your-mouth interior. It had a subtle yet distinct flavor that was enhanced by the spices and seasonings used. The patty was also generously sized, making each bite satisfying and filling. The burger was served on a soft and toasted bun, which added a nice texture contrast to the paneer patty. The fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and crunchy onions provided a refreshing and crisp element to the burger. The tangy sauce added a burst of flavor and tied all the ingredients together perfectly. What I loved most about this paneer burger was that it offered a unique and delicious alternative to the traditional meat-based burgers. It catered to vegetarians like myself, without compromising on taste or satisfaction. The flavors were well-balanced, and the overall presentation was appetizing. The service was also commendable. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our experience was enjoyable. The burger was served promptly and was hot and fresh. Overall, I highly recommend trying the paneer burger at this restaurant. It is a tasty and satisfying option for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The flavors are exceptional, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. I will definitely be returning for another paneer burger soon. πŸ€€πŸ˜‹

Authentic Indian street food. It is small so the staff is few and may take time to make your order especially during busy hours. However, the food is really good so it is worth the wait. Morevover, the prices are affordable. The chai is really something unique since they serve it in a clay cup, which is what they generally do in India.

Great taste, price & customer service! You got to visit this small eatery. Doing great job! Keep it up. Vada pav that we had was really good. Authentic taste and made to order. You have to wait a little but then it's worth the wait.

A wonderful place to get connected with our Indian food and soil. Wonderful experience to have the Gobhi Parantha with little butter, pickle and masala raita(yoghurt). To add love to your food, you can get a Kulhad tea and you will be in dreams back in India sitting with family and having an amazing time together. Kulhad is a traditional clay cup without a handle. It makes the tea so delicious that you leave all tensions behind and just enjoy the moment of peace. You must visit this place and enjoy small time with family or friends.

We ordered a Bombay grilled sandwich and Dabeli. The sandwich was a huge disappointment! It had cheese, cabbage, capsicum and onion stuffing with raw spices. Dabeli was slightly better than the sandwich but quite spicy. We regretted our decision to order food from this place.

One of the best MATAR KULCHA I had in my life and I was shocked to have it here in Auckland. So this takeaway serves the most authentic Indian food and specially the exact taste from the streets of delhi. Highly recommended whenever you are in Auckland.

One of the best place to have tea, coffee and snacks in queen street for the best price! This place offers a homely feel in every dish they make and the price is really affordable. The customer service is so great that you will always keep this place in mind. One of the highlights is the Kulhad tea that they serve in earthen cup. It tastes really good. And you can even take the cup home! Tried some other dishes like butter chicken, snacks and everything tastes really well. Definitely recommended as they make every dish we so much love that it will give you a homely feeling. There is a small area nearby to have the food and chitchat with your friends. The place isnt crowded and not much waiting is involved. Literally one of the best cafe and eatery in Queen Street area.

This place has always been amazing, some of the must try ones are Masala Tea, Bread Pakoda, Lemonade, Gobi Parantha, Coriander Chilli Parantha, Dahi Puri, Vada Pao, Vege Burger. They are Well priced, neatly presented and great in taste and also they do bring back the memories from India of eating outside in your nearby outlet which will never fail you to impress. A great and friendly couple is running this fantastic joint.

The restaurant is my favourite place for having lunch. I reckon they are the best places to get authentic paratha. Also they provide good customer service.

A small takeaway joint but with great taste to have quick bites. Wadapav is really amazing, an actual Marathi (Mumbai) taste it has. Kulhad chai is also the best. Tasty wadapav to buy in Auckland for sure. They have small sit out there as well.

Had a wonderful experience with food here. As a big time foodie I can assure you the quality of the food here is top notch. The ingredients used are just so good which everyone cannot understand. You won’t feel heavy even if you over eat here. To my findings the secret of the consistent quality here is the involvement of the owners themselves, they just bring everything from the vegetables to pulses to bakery all by handpicking themselves. Try it out to witness al these things yourself. A true GEM in the heart of Auckland City. ❀️❀️

I seized the opportunity to partake in the offerings of this establishment. Here are my observations: Food: Portions, though modest, resonate with an exceptional delight. Delivered at ambient temperature and meticulously packaged, each dish beckons as a portable indulgence. The array of culinary creations is staggering, akin to a premium street food carnival cradled in the palm. The pricing is affordable. Navigating the labyrinth of flavors, one discovers a symphony of tastes, all earning a resounding 10/10. Hospitality/Personnel: The service, a paragon of excellence, the owners extends a welcoming smile, eager to unravel the mysteries of the menu. Honesty permeates the discourse on pricing, coupled with insightful guidance on savoring the nuances of Indian cuisine. For those unacquainted with the palate of India, a patient escort through the labyrinth of ingredients and consideration of spice tolerance are graciously provided. Atmosphere: An enclave of takeaways, with a modest dining alcove accommodating the intimacy of a small family. A mosaic of patrons predominantly hailing from India, both native and expatriate, testifies to the establishment's ability to evoke a taste of home. The ambience exudes a laid-back aura, as the proprietors invest time in crafting culinary masterpieces, fostering camaraderie among the patrons who revel in the epicurean experience. Lastly: To those venturing into uncharted culinary domains, I extend an earnest invitation to partake in the offerings of this establishment. Here, the essence of delectable cuisine converges seamlessly with affordability, forging an unforgettable experience in taste.

Going by the reviews, I tried their food and I just couldn’t believe it that how this couple is managing so many items in a small Kiosk. The food is just WOW!!! Great humble couple with lots of positivity and patience to manage the heavy crowded people in the area. A must for every Indian to try the Snacks at this little shop. This takeaway truly deserves the appreciation😊 Keep it up guys!!
