They were fine with letting me in to test my eyes, but glasses and pay. Went to pick up and they wanted me to try on the new glasses out in the street and do the eye test to check the lenses were correct outside while there were others inside. They told me originally I had to book an appointment for a fitting and then they do this. $800 for a pair of glasses and they treat you like that once they have your money. I would put no stars on if I could. I have bought glasses 3 times from spec savers and will never do so again. Absolute rubbish service. Change your set up at the front of your shop.

Been going here for years but today will definitely be the last time. Got totally ripped off for a repair. Would have been as cheap to get new glasses but unfortunately I was stuck and couldn't wait. I guess they new that too and charged accordingly. As for being asked to wait out in the street in the baking sun!!! Can you not catch covid when you have your eftpos card in your hand?

Fabulous friendly quick service today. Dropped in, expecting to need to leave broken and bent sets of glasses there for a week or so...just a few minutes later they were fixed. Lovely young lady on the desk who is a credit to the store.and the friendly man who fixed for me too. Love our town shops!

I hadn't been to see my optometrist for over 2 years and was looked after amazingly by the optometrist who explained how my eyes were, that I did need to upgrade my glasses, make an appt for a glaucoma test. I was then seen by a lady who helped me with sorting out my glasses and frames. Pickup in a couple weeks and a free audio appointment was made plus a glaucoma test. They were all very professional and pleasant. Thank you

I have been to three other optometrists. You cannot match the incredibly friendly and prompt customer service and optometry services from spec savers. It is second to none. The glasses are very good and every time I walk in to have something adjusted I am immediately waited on. It’s simply the best.

Lovely team! Made me feel comfortable and we’re very honest with pricing. I did not feel forced to spend extra money on the “add ons” but was informed about them if I ever wanted to change my mind. I was informed about the deals they currently have on offer which I appreciate as glasses aren’t cheap.

A great price for glasses, and fantastic customer service and care at this Specsavers. The optometrists are lovely, and Phil is just brilliant at fitting glasses. My daughter always gets her glasses here and is super happy with the service and range, and recently they helped fix a major issue with a pair I got from a different specsavers, which was amazing. I'll be getting my next pair there for sure!

Phil & Effie helped repair and clean frames. Good deal of time to do properly but no cost. Very busy but made time. Highly Recommended.

Fantastic service. Testing was stress free and quick. I don't like going to the optometrist after having glasses my whole life so it was a really stress free experience. Sales assistant was extremely helpful with looking at frames which were suitable for my face shape and budget, they even let me take some home over night to make sure I was happy with my favourites. Can't wait to get my new glasses.

Called them a few times without anyone answering. I arrived 5min late for my appointment, waited at the Covid scanning entrance for another 5min for someone to acknowledge me, just to be told if I'm late, I'll need to rebook. Wasted a lot of petrol and work time just to get there and the only appointment time that they had was a 3pm timeslot, which is at school pick up time with lots of traffic!

When I first decided to book an appointment with Specsavers Pukekohe, I read the reviews. The negative ones; I assumed ''Nah, it wont be like that. It's just the 'Karen's' experience. It might be better to experience it on my own' - WRONG. I was very very unimpressed. My optometrist was amazing - It was a quick assessment (which was what I needed - Great job!) However, the first staff I dealt with, I wont name names, but it starts with M. Overall, my whole appointment to looking for glasses, her telling me the prices etc, measuring the glasses, to measuring the pupils, took overall a good 1.5hours of sitting there. I gave it a doubt ''Ok, thats ok. Maybe she's new. I will let it slide''. I was told to book an appointment 3-4 weeks later. Booked. I came back to my next appointment. Wow so jolly. Two pair of sun glasses arrived (instead of 1 of each). I was not impressed. M was not apologetic, she wasnt even sorry. How hard was it to check what glasses they were when they arrived, instead of wasting an hour of her trying to sort out the mistake ? I felt like M could have just checked the cases which would have taken less than a minute, call me and tell me to reschedule the appointment instead of sitting there wasting my day off from work. 3rd Appointment booked for the next 3 weeks. I called later on to tell them not to book me in with M. It was a terrible experience, I felt like perhaps she would mess up my glasses. This time I dealt with Kushla, who was much more quicker and efficient experience. With the overall experience, it was such a circus. I wont be going back. If you like being mucked around, time wasted and staff consistently asking when can they go for lunch or their morning tea, this will be your place to be. I'm not being negative about the overall optometrist, it's the overall staff training and professionalism that needs to be taken into consideration when customers are around.

I just have to say I had the most amazing, friendly and positive customer service by a lady I believe her name was Effy. She was super helpful when I came in to get my glasses fixed which I should add weren’t even from Specsavers! I will definitely be coming to get my future glasses from here! ☺️
