👍👍 Brilliant place for a stroll, or jog.Maybe 45 mins to amble around.Note it is tidal. There are several clubs along the route, including the mini railway which runs on Sundays 1 to 4 pm. Waipuna Convention Centre faces the basin. There are several places to park, a skatepark, and many spots for doggy... People often mention basin,

Brilliant place for a stroll, or jog.Maybe 45 mins to amble around.Note it is tidal. There are several clubs along the route, including the mini railway which runs on Sundays 1 to 4 pm. Waipuna Convention Centre faces the basin. There are several places to park, a skatepark, and many spots for doggy deposits. There are playgrounds close to the water. Clean, peaceful, wish there were more spots like this in Auckland. There many seats to relax on , and places to spread out on the grass.

Great walks around with plenty of space for kids to play or family/friends to enjoy a BBQ or picnic

This is a treat for urban dwellers. 3km beautiful walkway in your neighbour hood by the basin! The walkway is flat so it's family friendly - no steps so you can do scooter or bike, even pram. 3 playgrounds are located at the water front. There are cark parks along the basin. It's very popular with locals for fitness walking. Also you can have close encounters with local residents: the ducks, the garnets and the shags.

A good spot for walks. You may come across great birdies such as Tuis, kingfishers, blue herons,King Shags. The basin is insanely beautiful in four seasons, in rain or shine. It takes me around six to seven thousand steps. 3 Children's playgrounds, a tiny train rail(for kids) and a boat house. If you have seen the council's sea water level in 2050, some sections of the current walkway may disappear under water. More reasons for walking around the basin now!

I enjoy a walk around the basin. Last night I took a motion time lapse across the basin from the Panmure swimming pool side just on sunset

After taking my dog to the vet, took her for lunch and a walk around the basin. Shame it was so windy. Good walk.

A beautiful place, calm and gorgeous view along the waters. A great place to unwind yourself in the mornings or evenings. The long track around the lake/basin for jogging/walking. Small playground for kids and place to park your car (Limited number of car parking though)

Beautiful place to just sit and relax. Wonderful when you find the rest of the world rushing by. Yes lots of parking nearby

After many years returned to the Panmure Basin to walk around its circumference right on dusk. So pleasing to spot so many birds feeding here along with fish jumping out of the water. Such a great little place to visit.
