Great shopping center.. They got heaps of shop around there even a supermarket.Large mall with a diverse range of stores & services, informal eateries, a movie theatre & bowling. Westgate Shopping Centre has 1,350 free outdoor parking spaces for shoppers including designated disabled parking spaces. Shoppers can enjoy free parking for up to 180 minutes. Westgate Shopping Centre offers FREE WIFI for all visitors. Exeloos (paid toilets) are located in the middle of the main Fernhill Drive carpark, between Chemist Warehouse and The Warehouse. Baby changing facilities are available in the Exeloos.

Tracy Bell.says that it's a good wee place to spend some time, outside restaurants are really nice to sit in , there's a library also and a park with a water fountain , up the road is a kids play ground, the mall has a few clothing and shoe shops with a farmers and countdown supermarket at either end there's some cafes inside the mall the main streets only tiny yet it too has many nice shops , plenty of places to sit to eat lunch , a food hall too many days I spent there , it was close to where I lived , its like a 2nd home I get bored, il walk there to have a coffee or McDonald's or Indian, you can find telephone repair stores, just go , its worth the time to go see I hope you enjoy the area of Westgate

Chaotic, uninspiring, boring ....you get the gist 😭 Nothing that stands out. Row after row after row of retail and overflowing parking lots. Endless same, same. Stay away if you can, there are lots of other places that are worth driving a few ks extra that will warm your hart (and take your money more elegantly) ✨✨✨🩰

Ok, has pretty good shops. Have to pay 50c to use toilets though, a nightmare if you have kids and don't carry loose change around with you.

DECEMBER 2023 It is a great shopping centre to visit at all times. With a lot of shops having their shop fronts renovated / improved and the insides being kept in pristine, nice and clean inside the individual shopping areas as well as the car parking area, this is a pleasant Shopping Centre. Overall, this visit to Westgate was a pleasant experience and would recommend it to other people.

Lots of parking spots and you can find most of the popular shops

I thought this Mall just wasn't going to work, but it's good to be wrong as it caters to a sprawling mass of houses. It is extremely clean and always looks pristine, and the range of shops means you don't have to travel far for your needs. If I were to complain about anything, then it's the lack of choice in the food court, but that is complemented, I guess, by several cafes either in the mall or outdoors. Definitely worth a visit to meet, greet or shop,

Shops are algood. Most staff across the shopping centre have what I would call a friendly customer service attitude, but a small minority will just say, they need to readjust their attitudes if they want customers to return. Ample parking, can be hectic during busy seasons if you're looking for close proximity parking. They have a few accessible carparks around and the flat terrain + foot paths and crossings makes it an easy shopping experience for those with wheelchairs... They have a wide range of retail stores + Event Cinemas/ Bar + Bowling alley W/ Gaming lounges/ Countdown/ Warehouse/ Gyms/ Fast food outlets so many shops but you'll find all you need within Westgate Shopping Complex....

To use the public toilets here you must pay a fee, but if you're only here to get a whiff of very strong human excrement in a carpark, just stand down wind, free of charge.

Don’t order Laksa from King Pow. It’s watery… seafood has no flavour and the taste is off. Not worth your money. Go to the Malaysian place outside the mall for a better laksa!! :)

Holy heck make sure you don’t drink too much water before coming here. Finding a loo is IMPOSSIBLE and the public loos they have you have to pay for. WITH CASH! In 2024?!? The stores are all good overall.

  • 5/5 Leslie W. 10 months ago on Google
We found parking and the shop we wanted easily. With a large number of factory shops within the complex, there is something for everyone.

Google Maps directions to ANZ at 1-7 Fred Taylor Drive, Westgate were confusing and very unhelpful. Only an empty field at destination location. Only by going up & down, round & round, did I finally guess it must be within the mall complex. Very accommodating and helpful staff. Efficiently sorted my daughter with a new cashflow card.

I recently visited Westgate Shopping Centre and was thoroughly impressed with the range of stores and amenities available. The shopping centre is spacious and modern, making for a comfortable and enjoyable shopping experience. There's a great variety of shops, including popular chain stores as well as local boutique shops, and I appreciated the ample parking available. The food court also had a wide range of options, catering to different dietary requirements and tastes. Overall, I found Westgate Shopping Centre to be a great place to shop, eat and socialize. The atmosphere is pleasant and the customer service is excellent. I would definitely recommend this shopping centre to anyone looking for a great shopping experience.

Westgate Shopping Centre in Auckland offers a fantastic shopping experience with a wide range of stores and brands to choose from. The layout is spacious and modern, and the ambiance is vibrant. With numerous dining options and convenient parking, it's a go-to destination for shopping and leisure activities in the area.

I went to see the store Isla-Marie, clothing for curvy women. I was not disappointed, roomy, well lit store, great range and helpful staff.

I really enjoyed looking around the shops. There are plenty of choices, including banks and food courts and cafes. It all looks very clean and feels safe. One of my problems is that I use a 'Walker' and there is a slight slope all the way from the supermarket down to the Farmers area, making it slightly difficult to walk back up the mall if using a walking frame or something similar. A slower process. Also alert as you enter ASB bank there is a small unexpected slope which my Walker went down quite fast and I fell against the cash machines. Just be careful. Maybe the bank could put a warning sign there although it may be ok for able bodied people. Apart from that, I enjoyed my shopping experience.

The shopping complex needs a toilet upgrade with a proper parents room, there’s nowhere to change a baby. Can’t believe they charge .50c to use a rundown smelly toilet with urine all over the floor. Only perk there is the decent shop selection and good coffee at Robert Harris

Warehouse, Noel Leming, bicycle shops, animets, coffee shop, Look sharp, sketchers, Mac pak, katmandoo, Bendon, countdown, pharmacy, Event cinema, Burger king, super cheap auto, Adidas, Puma, Timberland, Asics and Under armour outlet. Paid public toilet at the carpark. Please carry coins for the toilet. (50cents/$1)

I have never been to Westgate Shopping center before in my life, but I know that it's a very amazing place, where it has a warehouse and a countdown supermarket and restaurants and cafes and many more unique attractions and it's also a great place for major AT Metro Bus interchange and I would rate this place to be a 10 out of 10

Ah this was supposed to be for the Han San Vietnamese restaurant in Northwest rather than the shopping center as such. Don't know how that happened! Surprisingly good, have tried most of the other restaurants in this complex & they are OK, ( we are picky these days, aren't we?) but really enjoyed the variety on offer here. Maybe that was part of it, quite a bit of different food we were able to sample, and there is more yet to try. Personally I think I like Vietnamese style a bit more than Thai, but that's just my taste. Anyway if you are looking for something a little bit different at Northwest I'd suggest give it a try.

We went to the movies at 11am. We were horrified at the rubbish (mainly fast food packaging ) that was strewn not only in front of the cinema but another pile out in the carpark. I would have thought a quick survey and clean up of problem areas would be one of the first tasks every day.

Went there on a Sunday in March because saw frequent advertisements on Instagram. However, the place seems a bit run down? The food court in the middle was abandoned, plenty of car park spaces, restaurants and shops were lacking of customers… it is great to have big brands like Adidas, Puma, Skechers, etc. The centre also has a good variety of essential shops, but less lively compared to NorthWest shopping mall?

  • 5/5 Max M. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely clean and up to date mall. Great variety of shops, not packed full of hot sweaty shoppers is a change. Mall is extremely large which means more shops! Parking is accessible and easy to find right outside. Mall is air-conditioned but not cold. You will want to go with a decent amount of money for all those great shops tho. Warning...you may leave some shops with all your hard earned money if a shopaholic.

Great place to shop. So much better than Botany or silva park. Much quieter. With Costco on the way and so muck more over the road in North west expanding all the time.

  • 5/5 Deidra S. 1 year ago on Google
Definitely a more preferred area for shopping. Clean, tidy with commonly known stores. Recommend going during the week as weekend times its challenging to find a carpark. Outlet stores are right next door

  • 5/5 Kuri K. 1 year ago on Google
Our local mall, jam packed with both chain stores and smaller businesses. Pretty much you can get anything you're after here. And big plus - free WiFi while you're shopping.

Westgate shopping centre has it all from dining to watching and enoying films with your friends and family. Evening shopping for sports gear, accesories, to getting a new pair of kicks. The home section is filled with your everyday house accessories and supplies. Going to get groceries is the best at westgate shopping centre.

Shout out to the guy that is ALWAYS cleaning up the rubbish around the place. Great job and we appreciate it. If only more people cleaned up after themselves

Disgusted with Countdown here. Grabbed a trolley and bought a few things then headed for the checkout. I have a disability card due to bad hip and knee. It helps for parking. I went through the checkout that displayed a disability sign, as others were busy and I can't stand too long. A lady called out from the customer service counter and rudely instructed me to go to the other counter at other end of shop. She ignored my explanation and kept insisting i move. As I can't have the much needed hip operation until I'm off blood thinning meds after a quintuple bypass heart operation, I stood my ground. The customer being served apologised for the way I was treated. Never ever will i return there.

Convenient shopping plaza with various shops to meet everyone's needs. Parking spaces are a little tight, but the asphalt is in great condition. Lots of pedestrian walkways and crossings too.

  • 3/5 hycron1234 1 year ago on Google
The area is a bit dated, it would have been nice if the warehouse and event cinemas had been incorporated into North West malls design. The whole area is hard to get around these days.

  • 5/5 John L. 1 year ago on Google
With plenty of parking and lots of places to shop you'll find everything you need there. Gym and fitness centre's for those looking to get in shape, train or maintain. Fitness ware is available steps away if you're wanting to look the part. Food choices go from your traditional burger joints like Burger King, McDonald's, to the spices from the orient & Indo Asia. Pharmacies are plenty with the smaller outlets who've been there for ages, to the larger big box retailers. Bargain shopping is available with shops like Look Sharpe and others. Alcohol is purchased from the Trust shops since you're in West Auckland. If you need to pick up something for your pet or get them a pamper session, you'll be able to drop off the fluff ball while you linger over to placea like Noel Leemings to check out all the gadgets and electronics you may need for home. Every season and shops to go along with plenty of parking. In case you need to update your status, wifi is free by logging in and connecting via their portal.

Food was good. We requested a wrap, and three pieces of chicken, but they did five, so we paid for five, and ate them all. Whew! Pretty spicy too.

It isn't covered market so it's not ideal if you are shopping on a rainy day or with kids. The brands and outlets available are really good but not available under one roof

  • 4/5 Matthew H. 1 year ago on Google
Awkward layout. So sprawling you need to take a drive to get to the next stop most of the time. Costco traffic makes parking or driving challenging.
