Enjoyed a happy lunch here with another friend. The cabinet food was attractively presented and tasty and our coffee and hot choc tasted great. Adjacent to the attractive showroom with gift ideas to boot is the extensive garden centre. Best to turn left onto the road when you leave and head to the round a bout for safety.

had a terrible experience here, the girl at the register was rude and did not smile she was wearing a black jumper with a white claw in her hair was giving attitude to her amazing co workers who served me, i could feel the bad energy from her if i could give 0 stars just because of her i would, the food was amazing here but i didn’t like the way she treated her stuff and the customers. shes was continuously on her phone and when i tried to go talk to her she ignored me. will never be returning here again!!

Very nice garden center, not so easy to find but great store, we met Jonathan there and he was of great assistance and extremely knowledgeable. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Very nice tea garden

Good place but the indoor plants we came home with unfortunately had gnats.

Great range of indoor & outdoor plants, herbs & fruit trees. Grab a red chilli or tomato plant as a birthday gift instead of flowers - just as pretty and far more useful!

Fantastic bubbly and knowledgeable young women as customer facing staff. Absolule delight over the phone and in person. Happy to order in from other stores or from their suppliers. Nothing is a hassle. Photo is the pear and plum trees we purchased.

My wife had a favourite indoor orchid that needed some tender care. The friendly team offered to re-pot the orchid. It would be ready for pickup in a couple of days. When my wife went back to pick up the orchid it was not there. By mistake it had been mixed up with another customers plants. Not a problem at all.... my wife was given the 'pick of the table' and now has a beautiful replacement orchid sitting happily in our lounge. Thank you Kings Plant Barn Remuera, an example of your excellent customer service. Much appreciated.

Review is for the cafe: pricey, not heated (it's winter time), but the food was all right. Coffee not so much.

It has all you need, but at premium prices. I bought primula for $6.99each that would have been $2-3 at Mitre10 & the bag of bark & Tui garden mix were more expensive too. They have a great selection of plants though, so maybe plant fewer & space them out properly. :)

Great selection of seedlings at reasonable prices. Always easy to find parking too. Old pot drop off outside the entrance which is handy. Checkout is usually quick n easy with minimal queue if any.

I ordered brunch with fried eggs and spinach, I had boiled eggs no spinach they said no spinach in whole NZ instead some unwashed vegetables I find dirt and bugs after eating one. Disgusting

Ate there. The panini was stale and despite being toasted was tough. A pity. However, polite service and helpful staff. Plantvsection colorful and reasonably priced.

Stopped by for a nostalgic coffee and a sojourn in a peaceful setting on a relaxing morning. Suitably revived to continue walking the Orakei Basin walkway.

Noticeable recent turnover of staff. Bird defecation on virtually every chair in the café. Less food options and poor food preparation. Less variety. Poor maintenance, crumbling stands and plant debris not attended to. Not a nice place to visit.

Just a note on the service which has been my usual experience every time I go to Kings Plant Barn Remuera; I was looking to find some solution to Guava Moth problems afflicting my citrus at home...After he saw me looking about, a ( I would guess) senior staff member asked if he could help...and although he was at the (quiet) Till gave me very helpful advice, asked another member to mind the Till while he took me to the correct products which he explained fully. I then was left to my own decision (ie- with no pressure) and then later, the same guy served me at the till. I am sorry I don't recall his name. Very good, professional service. Which, as I said, is what I have been fortunate to receive every time I go there.
