The store looks nice BUT the food is terrible. I ordered a large fries and Big Mac my friend ordered some others as the photo shown. The chips are cold and soft,feels like someone straight out of the fridge. The paddies in the burger is cold and beef is not warm enough. We also bought some drinks and they weren’t filled properly(3/4 cup). We would understand all of it is busy but there were literally 3 people in the store so it is not acceptable at all. Need a lot of improvement in the future!!!

Not sure who is incharge of this place on the weekends but it was left in an absolute disgusting state and it was only 3:00pm. Homeless were inside eating from the rubbish bin and asking customers for food, staff were working at snail pace even though it was busy. Took 20 minutes for a big mac combo? Think staff should be trained to work more efficiently and fast paced and spend less time talking during rush hour and more time focused on getting through busy periods. 7 staff on and a 20 minute wait for food + messy restaurant. It’s fast food for a reason!

Rubbish everywhere and slow service. Homeless people coming in and scavenging food. The food deals on the app are good but i just hope the kitchen isn’t as dirty as the dining room. The toilets were also locked away.

I ordered delivery through Uber Eats. Very simple to order but very complicated to make it. I removed cheese and lettuce from my Big Mac and it’s so simple to do it, and I received a lot of lettuce and cheese but no pickles. Not to mention that they didn’t place not even one napkin neither straw for Coca Cola. So regardless of having options to customize as maybe you are lactose intolerant or you have allergy on something, they’ll make it how they feel like and you gonna waste your money. It’s so hard to read what customer really wants! Food was also cold and like it was hanging there for a while what actually receipt can confirm. I made order at 19:32:57 and the food I got was prepared at 19:31:08 and I got it delivered at 20:05.

As the world's largest fast food chain , McDonald's has many advantages including the brand value, supply chain efficiency and automation which makes the business very much profitable. But it is an unfair player and charges much more for the food and plays its part in global poverty. Many poor and middle class families are regular customers of the chain and their health, financial situation and affordability of food at fair pricing is being challenged by McDonald's. It is unfair for millions of customers around the world. There is no value for money anymore at McDonald's. The basic cheeseburger costs $5, which is ridiculously high considering the input costs. The place in Auckland CBD is small, untidy and does not even have proper rubbish bins. Apparently they are not even employing the required number of people for this store.

the four cheeseburgers i ordered at 2am on Sunday morning were made correctly with extra onion and big Mac sauce. so no complaints. ate them all in less than two minutes. thank you for your services providing food for drunk people.

They give you microscopic patties in Big Macs. You have absolutely no rights to deceive people with food size. Service is as slow as a sloth's granddaughter. Screen always show angry red numbers like 21:34 (21 mins 34 secs) An abusive man, who served at least 5 prison sentences for felony, is roaming freely without being banned by security. Who would want to dine in if they all feel unsafe?

Disappointing. Yet again I had trouble the kiosks. Last time they were very slow and crashed. This time it didn't print a receipt and it didn't tell what I could do. I didn't know if my customer's card was charged or if the order went through. When I went to the counter I was ignored. A few people looked at me including servers and did squat. I yelled out and waited the yelled again and one of the staff asked a manager to see me. I also needed a receipt for my customer. Turns out the order did go through, but they had to reprint receipt.

Unfortunately the days of a clean restaurant are gone as it was filthy. Customers were forced to stand in a really long line to use the disabled toilet as the female and male were locked. The disabled toilet was filthy, the floor was covered in water , it was disgusting. The tables in dining area were dirty etc. No future visits to this restaurant are planned for our next visit to Auckland. My review is based on my visit on the day 12.1.24

Queen Street is pretty run down so I wouldn't expect anymore from the maccas. Soft serve was super sad. Would rather they said the machine was broken as usual rather than make us suffer through eating a half melted half size goop

I have visited this McDonald's several times. After the renovation done years ago, they have enhanced the atmosphere to be more modern, smaller, but with a more café vibe. I like to visit here on a random morning when I arrive in the CBD earlier than my usual routine. I do appreciate their kind service and quick processes, which have not disappointed me. The quality is typical McDonald's food. However, I particularly enjoy their morning hash browns. For anyone seeking a quick breakfast while cafes haven't opened in the morning, I recommend this McDonald's.

Messy atmosphere, ordered a wrap and it was a complete mess, not even sealed on one side like is usually done at maccas. Service was okay. Not recommended, seek alternatives if possible.

I visited McDonald’s on Queen Street for a quick lunch and I was pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. The restaurant was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. So many customers, a long queue. But the shopper did really good job!! They keep moving, talk friendly and smile!! I'm grateful for the hospitality that they gave.

For those Americans eating here, the Medium drinks are the size of Smalls in the U.S. They also serve a select number of “favorites” during breakfast unlike the U.S.

The food was delicious, and the service was satisfactory. However, the main area for improvement in this branch lies in customer management. While waiting for my meal, I witnessed a disturbing incident where a man kicked an elderly man simply for attempting to pass by.

I was order a Combo of Chicken Bacon Muffin, Chips and a drink. I've waited for a long time to get my food. I was stand in front of the counter and some customers was there. There was another two men came after me, but they have been asked by a young man staff, seems like staff don't care about customer wait for long time. At that time, I don't wanna be angry with them, coz I think they're really busy. My food came out after 20 minutes, but to be honest the shake chips that I order are really cold, it's like a cold food. Sorry that I have to give to bird to eat all of that, coz I can't eat the cold food. I think all staff in Mc Donald located in Queen Street must have to settle the time and be nice to customers. I’ve ordered from McDonalds Queen St a couple of times via Uber eats and my orders are ALWAYS missing an item. We haven’t had Uber eats McDonalds for a while so we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered the Big Mac dinner for two which is suppose to come with 2x Big Macs, 1x 6 pack chicken nuggets, 2x drinks and 2x chips. Arrived with one drink and zero chips. Like does no one from McDonalds Queen St check the damn Uber eats orders before they are handed over to Delivery people??? If you live in the Auckland CBD area save yourself the hassle and don’t order from this branch order from Britomart or Grey Lynn instead at least you’ll get your FULL order.

The first time I ordered the hunger buster from them, one of the cheeseburgers was missing the patty. The second time, I asked them to make sure no patties were missing from my order. They give me a quarter pounder with no buns, just a beef patty and a slice of cheese on it for the quarter pounder. Never getting Maccas from there ever again.

Most of the staff here are hardworking and friendly. Can’t really blame them for the mess given the massive flow of orders. However, there is this one middle aged lady on McCafe who always sounds grumpy, at first I just dismissed it as her being stressed but today she rolled her eyes at me twice when all I said was thank you(I placed two different orders). Not sure if it’s because I ordered twice or if it’s the way I look, but being confronted that kind of attitude kinda sucks.

I was only in to get a afternoon coffee. Store was average busy but they did not notice the coffee order, served food orders taken after my coffee order. I had to ask if anyone was serving the coffee before someone went and started making it. Coffee was good, but service was not due to the delay, as main screens show food, drink orders, not the coffee orders.

I bought thst adult happy meal but it was weird... I wanted the toy and was made to buy an extra 15.00 meal for it. Could just pay for the toy like usual. Cest la vie.

Fast service, staff screaming out order numbers due to noise & crowd in store, restaurant absolutely filthy. Didn't want to sit down, dry hard super glue in big blob on very sticky table, rubbish everywhere. Get rid of the tables or pay staff to clean it continuously. It's just gross. McDs you can do better.

Was really odd having locked coded doors for the bathroom. And then late at night you cannot even use the toilets. I found the service slow. Staff seemed to just prepare a big group of orders then call out numbers before doing another group of orders.

I feel sorry for whoever wants to dine and chill and put up with antisocial behaviour from I'll-behaved idiots Tip. Never install power plugs for non-paying customers who are there to take up space and charge their phones. Tip 2. Hire security as only paying customers are permitted in the store. Tip 3. Close the store, don't worry we will order Uber Eats or go to St Lukes where it's safer.

Polite efficient staff. One night when I was there, more than one of the ordering stations had run of of docket printing paper roll. Would be good if there was more seating as I had to take my meal away and eat down the street.

The only good thing was the huge serving of soft serve we got. Went in there to use the toilet around lunch time, 3 unisex toilets, there was a long line and only 1 toilet was open, there was no toilet paper in that one. Waited 20 minutes just to use the toilet, even asked to the Asian Manager to open the other 2 toilets so other people could use them. All they said in response was ''I'll check", also asked a team member to get some toilet paper, they went to have a look and never came back.

Stuffed the burger with salt and pepper as if someone has dropped the shaker on it. I messaged them and no one cared to follow up on my complaint!

I remember this McDonald’s when it was terrible! They changed up management and now everything is super clean and service is great :-) they wiped the tables after every customer and greeted us at the door!

This place should be shut down it’s that bad! The whole place was disgusting all seats and tables where covered in grime and the floor was covered, the bins were overflowing, the time it took to get our fast food was too long and then when sitting down to eat an alarm went off for 5 minuets

Quick service, clean place and enough seating. One or two of the self ordering kiosks do not print the token number receipt. However you can inform the manager and you are good to go.

this place always skimps on the ice cream in the mcflurries. for almost $6 and how little they pay their employees you would think they can afford to fill the containers to the top. also, out of three bathrooms they had one open the last few times i was in. idk why i ever expect better than i get. i feel bad for the employees who have to suffer under the reign of not only their higher ups but also those who frequent queen st on late nights.

Zero customer service. Waited 15mins to be served at counter with a crying baby. Yes I'm aware it was a rush but no need to ignore people. Drinks were being pumped out faster than everything else due to automatic machine but no frozen drinks or anything available. Ordered a quarter pounder meal with extra pickles and extra Mustard it came with none just two pickles. Tables were dirty with food. Extremely tiny store shame it was moved from its old historical home 2 doors up into somewhere that you can really dine as half of the restaurant is self serve machine which must be what staff depend on for ordering over people physically coming up to order.

Slow service and bad quality. How come nobody knows how to make iced mocha. I ordered and didn’t get it and they were like asking in the kitchen who can make iced mocha.

Been twice had issues with food both times. First time we were missing a coffee and sundae I had to ask three times for staff to even acknowledge that I had an issue. Second time ordered a frozen coke and sundae and the machine took my money but gave me no receipt and the store had no record of the order. Definitely won't be back.
