The slow roast lamb was absolutely stunning. Super tender and just melts in your mouth. The market fish and steak was also good. Friendly service !

Booked a table for me and my partner for a spontaneous dinner, never been to this restaurant before but we were very pleased! Amazing service, delish well thought-out food. Good cocktail selection and honestly the best dessert menu in hamilton! See for your self in the pictures i have provided. The desserts are huge! Everything well worth the price. Wonderful steak! The best that I had! Highly recommend this Signature Steak Rib-eye 500GM. The Steak is very tender and of great taste! Duck fat chips are delicious as well! Green Peppercorn and Homemade BBQ sauce go well with the steak. Southern Fried Chicken is crispy and juicy. Central Otago Tart is apple, peach, apricot pie with caramel ice cream, which is not too sweet good sharing with friends. Will definitely come back for the steak and try other food!

Amazing food and service. We ordered a beef tartare for entree, two steaks made in the sous vide for main and one tart with ice cream for dessert. Everything was so amazing. The steaks were both really really nice however the wagyu steak was our favourite.

Excellent staff, Nice Atmo, decent Wine list but not enough OZ choices, Food delicious but not quite as ordered. Party of three. Two steak meals and the beef cheeks. All meals were delicious and well enjoyed. Desserts were excellent, recommend the apricot tart. Side dishes creamed mushrooms excellent, garden salad, no issues. Steamed Veges a bit less crisp than is to my taste but that is a matter of taste so no points deducted. My rare sirloin arrived medium rare, still delicious but not what I wanted. My companion's eye fillet, order medium rare, turned up medium, same deal. I tried this restaurant out because I really wanted a decent steak in Hamilton, without having to cook it myself as I'd been disappointed a couple of times here already. The steak was delicious and we had a great time, but I was a little disappointed that for the price point, it did not arrive in the state I asked for. It was perfectly edible, and delicious, just not what I was looking forward to, and what I ordered. Hence deducted a star. I would definitely return but next time would make a point of emphasizing that I want my rare steak rare, not medium rare, or alternatively I would order the Lamb.

We came last night and I was so amazed at the service we got from the moment we arrived to the time we left, I forgot the name of our server but she was just awesome, the food was outstanding, I got the beef cheeks and the meat was so soft, the sauce was beautiful and everyone else also enjoyed their meals. Atmosphere was great, restaurant was nice and clean. I would definitely come back. Thank you for an awesome time

That was great, Food was delicious I had a steak sandwich and duck fat chips for lunch and my boss had chicken sandwich. Staff was friendly Ambient was good music wasn't to loud as it is in some places. Ill be coming back for dinner at some stage and I most likely will give another 5* review Well worth it

We attended Andrew Clarke’s Butchers Block Degustation Dinner. Everything from the service, food to the matching wines was exceptional. The flavour combinations on each dish and the quality of ingredients were incredible! Such a fabulous evening and looking forward to the next event!

Had an amazing night! My steak was perfect and the blue cheese sauce was epic, duck fat chips and a side plate of steamed vege. Next move was dessert, cointreau and chocolate Mousse which was so light and delicious, almost had to restrain myself from licking the plate it did cross my mind. Priscilla was our wonderful waitress! Great service, awesome food, I would highly recommend.

This restaurant was recommended to me by Graham of the Argent motel. I must say that it was a great choice. If you like a good steak and a good glass of wine to accompany the meal, then look no further. A short 3km drive ( thank you, Graham) from the hotel, and you are there. Post meal, the restaurant ordered a taxi to return me to my hotel. Thumbs up, guys.

Great place to eat! Staff were very very helpful with my annoying dietary needs. Ringing ahead to advise them was the play. They were very aware and offer solutions. Meal came out perfect and I ate every last scrap. Thanks guys for making life easy. All our other meals were also great. See you next time.
