ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! We came for the first time last Friday and will definitely be back! one of the best dining experiences we have had in Auckland. The food is just phenomenal, the service outstanding and the atmosphere just what we were in need of. If we had to offer any constructive feedback it would be that the side of fries is in need of some work, but that didn't detract from this 10/10 experience. We will be back

We dined here on a Sunday night. If it had not been for First Table we might have missed this new Kingsland Restaurant. Owner operated this restaurants chef can cook. We watched others food come out and all of the plates looked great. We started with the Karaage Chicken Bao Buns and they were great. Our mains were large portions. The Chicken parmesan and Pork Belly were cooked to perfection - they have a great chef. This restaurant has only been open for 3 weeks (August 2023) and I would recommend you come and support them by dining here. We will be back!

Awesome experience, good deco, subtle good music some old classics and some really good food. For cocktails we had the sour whiskey which was balanced well and the Caprioska Strawberry that had some awesome pulp that gelled well. The Wagyu meatballs with chimmichuri had a nice punch of flavour and paired with that sauce, was really good. The pork belly was melt in mouth delicious but could possibly be better presented. The eye fillet had this mad component that had a potato mash with cheese that was delicately placed alongwith the perfectly cooked eye fillet. Dessert was lemon brulee Yum! And sticky date pudding for the wife.. both were delicious and pudding had some good texture. Made my day, something satisfying on the weekend and a good addition to Aucklands restaurants.. saved some pics to drool over.. thanks guys 😊

Food was 6.5/10 for me. Prawn bao I feel lacked seasoning, would be good to get it with a wedge of lemon and it better seasoned. I also got the calamari which was nice, the pork belly I was a bit disappointed. The meat to sides ratio was off. Too much meat and a lack of mash/veg to eat with it. I was spreading my mash on my meat like sauce because that’s how much it lacked. Lava cake was also so so. I prefer to have a little more cake than I got to lava. It was 95% lava and 5% cake which was a bit much for my liking given the size as well. Service was good for being so short staffed. Our waiter did the lunch rush well by himself and did not once look overwhelmed. Atmosphere was nice but a bit too dim inside. Overall it was nice but could be better. Didn’t get a pic of calamari. But plenty on other reviews.

Let’s just say this place didn’t disappoint, everything was just perfect. Don’t no what else to say entrees amaze, kids food came out early with two stunning mains pork and duck…….so full and so stoked will be back!!!

Our first to dine in Kingsland at Crown. Ambiance was great, loved the entree chicken kaaage & calamari. Though mains serving went a bit slow yet enjoyed the food experience, especially the crisp of heavenly pork belly, also the zesty tarahiki a must try and the rest. Be back for more.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Crown Bar & Bistro. The food and customer service both exceeded my expectations. Here's a breakdown of my meal: -Garlic bread: 7 out of 10 -Veggie Pasta: 8 out of 10 -Eye Fillet: 7 out of 10 (GF found it a bit salty, but this is more personal taste) As for the customer service, I'd give it a strong 9 out of 10. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the atmosphere at Crown Bar & Bistro was pleasant, earning it an 8 out of 10 in my book.

The lamb shank and Chicken Parmagiana were delicious and the meal sizes are bigger than what you get from other restaurants which is a nice bonus. I tried the mussels too, but unfortunately the sauce was extremely salty hopefully was just a one off.

Last night we had the pleasure of dining at this beautiful little restaurant with our family, and it was an experience that truly deserves every one of these five stars! The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, We were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, and our table was perfectly set for a memorable family meal. We ordered a variety of food and It was clear that the chef had a deep understanding of how to handle seafood, as the dish was cooked to perfection. The attention to detail in both the presentation and taste of every dish was truly remarkable. Their fresh pasta and bao bun were full of flavor. The staff were great and made us feel like valued guests throughout the evening. In sum, our family had a truly memorable dining experience at this beautiful restaurant. We left with full hearts and satisfied palates, already planning our next visit. If you're a fan of exquisite food, a cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit!

Food was amazing and hospitality was exceptional. The restaurant was perfect for a dinner date and loved the interior so much. Had the lamb shank and duck leg, which were both absolutely mouth watering :) will be back very soon !!
