Really helpful staff and a well stocked shop. We bought Weber products here & often popping in for DIY or garden products. I bought 6 little lettuce plants for $3.50.

The guy mixed a paint that didn't match the colour I asked for. He blamed me when the colour was wrong, then offered to add black to darken it, but told me any changes to the incorrect colour were at my own cost and risk! He admitted he knew nothing about paints and colours. Expensive mistake for me, and never again.

I came in with some delightfully vague needs, a lady did her best then she referred me to Jack who helped me figure out a solution with what they had in stock, it's already installed and should work fine. He even helped me get the stuff to the car. Superb.

Very good store and friendly staff

Stock levels are usually pretty good and as they are an offshoot of Mitre 10, the service levels are quite often higher. Friendy (mostly) and local. Local (small) mitre 10's can be a disappointment when compared with their national advertising not so with Hammer hardware shops.
