    Went to buy tv on boxing day. The sales person said there is a promotion going on, if you spend $1k you get $100 gift voucher. So I added additional item to make the total over $1k. Went to the cashier to get my $100 gift voucher. The two cashiers just looked at each others face and almost cracked up. She advises there is no promotion. I asked for a manager and no apologies. Just there is no promotion. Time wasters and false promises. Wouldn't go there ever again.

    I purchased a queen size Sealy bed from Harvey Norman Mt Wellington (my local store) on Tuesday 11/07/23. The bed was booked to be delivered on Thursday 13/07 before 11.30am as I had a zoom meeting at 12noon. I rang Harvey Norman at 10am but the salesperson I bought the bed off was not working so I spoke to someone else who said she would contact the delivery people to see how far away they were. I rang her back at 10.45am and she said she was still waiting for the delivery people to ring her back. At 11.15am another person at the store rang back and said that the delivery people only delivered in the afternoon not the morning but I was told by the original salesperson that they did not deliver in the afternoon only in the morning. I ended up rescheduling the delivery date to today, Monday 17/07. When the bed was delivered at around 12.15pm, the 2 men who brought the bed left the mattress and base in the packaging in my room. I asked if they could assemble it for me and they said "they were not paid to assemble it, I asked if I could pay them to do it for me and they rudely said they were busy and for me to take it up with Harvey Norman" They sat in their truck blocking my driveway and my daughter who happened to come in to see me on my birthday today, had to get out of her vehicle to tell them to move. They could have used 5mins of that time to assemble my bed for me. My daughter kindly helped me to assemble the bed as she did not want me to be upset on my birthday. I am very dissatisfied with Harvey Norman's service this time. You may say it's the delivery people but to me as a customer, they represent Harvey Norman and I paid the fee to deliver my bed. It would not have taken them long to do that little service for me but they chose to sit in their truck doing nothing instead and blocking my driveway for 10-15mins. The mattress and base had dirty bits and photos are attached

    It’s a great team at Harvey Norman Mt Wellington, knowledgeable and always happy to help and find the best deal. I really like making the most of the deals and cash back offers an so it’s my go to for essentials whether white goods (washing machine & fridge) or furniture (dining suite, bed suite & mattress).

    The after sale service of Harvey Norman is good. The delivery and installation service need to improve. I bought my Microwave oven and rice cooker in this store previously. The refrigerator of my MIDEA fridge freezer JHTMF207SS was broken within 4.5 years although it still look like new. This time I bought a Samsung fridge with extended 3 year warranty. After delivery and installation on Dec. 05, 2023, I found there were 4 scratches on my new fridge, leaving me some regret. The damages were caused during unpacking and installation. I Immediately sent the photo proofs to Alan, the salesman. The store offered me some compensation or to return . I decided not to return as the scratch is not in the front door which I will have to see everyday. I plan to paint the scratches by myself to prevent rusting in future.

    I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service I received from the Mount Wellington store. Despite it being a super busy day during Black Friday sale, one of the store staff listened to my issue carefully and offered a callback by 2:00 PM. Even though my query wasn’t related to his department, he called me back, offered a workaround, and I got my ordered corrected and delivered on time. I’m very impressed with their customer service!

    My wife and I were browsing around the kitchen area, we were standing by a half Sized F& P Dishwasher appraising the product when a salesperson approached us and asked us if we needed any assistance and as I turned to answer him he said he’s got another customer and he called out to an Indian sales person close by and asked him to assist us. The Indian salesperson started off by telling us it’s the last in the line of that particular model and soon a new model will be available but he could give us a good price on the existing model. He asked us to walk over to his computer and then started to talk in his native language assuming we could speak the same. Disgraceful and poor customer service is what comes to mind. His attitude and over sales attitude was crude and impolite, almost to the point of being dismissive. No finesse at all. The price he finally quoted us was $240 more that what’s available elsewhere which we realised only today. It’s too late now since we already bought the unit from your store yesterday. Please ensure your salespeople have some basic etiquette and maintain a professional sales attitude. We are absolutely appalled at this salespersons attitude and will never visit your showroom again. Over the years we have bought several products but never 👎 this experience.

    The grand opening gave it a great look. But finding your expected product might be challenging.

    Very Happy with how the Service Team assisted and dealt with a faulty TV. Very Good support from Harvey Norman when Manufacturer support was bad. I will happily shop with these guys again.
