I usually don't give bad reviews as I love to share my initial reviews with the management to improve but this time I really couldn't do it because the people were pure rude with us. Both the lady and the man that were in the restaurant today (i presume the owners) were extremely rude with us, we were 3 adults and 2 kids and we really felt racially discriminated as they were all smiles with the other asian customers. Never have I ever felt discriminated as I felt today in this little restaurant. The food was not great, the marinated beef had 4 thin slices of beef (I counted) and tons of onions and cabbage and the taste was so and so. The marinated squid was quite yummy but lacking the squid having the same 2 veggies: onion and cabbage with a dash of carrots (barely noticed the 2 shreds). Not to mention the portions were small... Never again!

Loved the food ! It felt like you are having home made Korean food. Also very nice host. Although They could work on the bathroom and cleaning a bit I supposed. Not everyone would enjoy the old buildings and room.

That was absolutely disgusting! Went there last week to have a dinner with my family. The woman couldn't understand me asking a simple question. So I gave up and ordered. Then her husband gave us cutlery, left and then came back in a minute grabbed my spoon, put it first in a souce and after that in my soup. I said: "Can I eat my food without you helping me?" What kind of service is that?! Also both the husband and wife were very rude and barely spoke English. And on top of that after having few spoons of my soup I found a hair strand in it. I showed it to them and said that I'm not paying for the soup. They didn't charge me, but my family dinner was spoiled. I work in hospitality as well and that is not how things should be. Never coming back and hope this place will be shut very soon.

I had spicy lamb bone stew and stir-fried squid at this restaurant. The lamb stew was the best I've had in Auckland, and the stir-fried squid was delicious, although a little bit sweet for my taste. The restaurant was small and there were a lot of people at lunch time, so it was a bit noisy, but the owner and wife were really friendly, so it's a restaurant I want to go back to.

Brilliant little Korean restaurant, the owners are lovely and even helped my partner mix her bibimbap for her. I had the fish cake soup which had a delicious peppery broth with lots of lil side dishes. 10/10 place for a tasty lunch!!!

One of the best Korean food. If you are looking for a nice and delicious authentic Korean food, with decent portion size and nice side dishes, you should try this place. The restaurant is run by a korean couple and they are really good in what they do.

AMAZING service and don't get me started on the food. if u go there, u should get the chicken cutlet its prolly one of the best Korean food I've had in my life. the prices are SO affordable while having sweet hardworking couple cooking all the food in the kitchen. I suggest coming over here and u don't wanna miss out on the amazing food!

I agree with Christina's review rude ours was too just because we didn't order alot that's what the guy made us felt bit we not hungry we just want to try it. They served more vegetables than meat, for the price not worth it you should try myunga and price and food quality surpasses this place
