Lovely place to stay, super quiet and private. Location was perfect for venturing to places in the area, Hobiton, hikes, Cambridge, etc. We stayed in The Loft, which was spacious, clean and well-equipped. We were so pleased by the provisions (specifically the lemon curd - yum!) for breakfast, which was enjoyed on the balcony with beautiful views overlooking the valley. The spa and pool area was an added bonus. We weren't brave enough to enjoy the pool as the weather was a tad chilly, but the spa was bliss. Thanks for having us Robyn and Andy, and thank you for going the extra mile and forwarding a speaker we left behind. Very much appreciated.

Just completed a sadly too brief stay at this amazing place. Our hosts Andy and Robyn were friendly and welcoming. Loft space was cozy and well appointed. Lots of fresh air through plenty of windows. Dreamless sleep in a warm comfortable bed. Views from the private balcony were breathtaking in all kinds of weather. Extensive continental breakfast proferred. Collection of DVDs to watch during the rain storm. Hot tub Sauna Plunge Pool are peerless in the region. Well worth the trip.

Fantastic, well maintained unique lodging. We had a standard room with separate entrance (very convenient). Room was well outfitted and grounds beautifully maintained. Was great to hear about the other purposes of the property (e.g., bird rescue). Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and was a pity we only had one day in town

We stayed in The Stall - it’s a horsey theme so other rooms were stables and loft. The room was warm, comfortable and quiet, well appointed and the lodge is quiet and has a beautiful rural view. There is an outdoor pool, hot spa and sauna and the garden is lovely with little artworks and mosaics to discover as you wander around. The hosts were friendly and helpful but discreet giving us space when we wanted. They even gave us cuttings of plants from the garden 🪴. Lovely place, well worth the price for a luxury getaway.

What a fantastic little hideaway. We booked a 2 hr retreat and just loved it. A great spa and sauna to relax in, swimming pool to cool off and a food platter above and beyond any I've had. We had the place to ourselves in a super relaxing environment. Well worth a visit.

A beautiful, relaxing place to stay. So close to Cambridge town centre, yet you feel worlds away. Every little detail is thought of. Fantastic hosts. Plenty of information of things to do, places to eat, nearby activities etc. Would love to come back again one day.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. Wonderful hosts, helping and giving suggestions for dining and privacy to create the perfect get away. Excellent facilities, with littles touches everywhere that shows the care and pride the hosts put into each room for their guests.
