The store manager is incredibly rude. I went into the store today to make a return, and she has the audacity to claim that the hoodie I brought back is damp and wet. I assure you, that's far from the truth. To confirm my disbelief, I asked the person behind me in line, and they agreed with me too. But despite the evidence, the manager adamantly refuses to process the return and starts yelling and screaming at me. It's absolutely unacceptable. I have never encountered such a rude person here in New Zealand, especially one who goes to the extent of yelling and threatening customers. What's even more frustrating is that I've discovered other people, including in reviews, who have had even worse experiences with her. I just can't comprehend why she still has a job. It's possible she takes pleasure in yelling at customers, and it seems like Adidas is turning a blind eye to the situation.

I accidentally purchased the wrong size shoe. I live an hour away so made a special trip back in a couple of days later to exchange the shoes for a smaller size. My mistake, I brought the wrong receipt. The front counter staff were very understanding and asked their manager to process the exchange for me. The manager was extremely rude. And elder lady with absolutely no manners. She told me that it’s a huge hassle for her because she has to go through all of the transactions to find my one which takes her about 15 minutes, and blamed me for this inconvenience to her. This is your JOB! Don’t make the customer feel like an absolute idiot, just because you have to do your JOB!! She was also rude to her staff. I feel very sorry for them having to work with her. She is a miserable person. The other staff were really lovely and apologetic towards me so no complaints there, and I thank them for exchanging my shoes.

The store manager (I guess) is incredibly rude. She doesn’t know how to speak to the customer nicely or politely. I just saw she shouted at a customer in the store. She maybe just been through a bad day, i guess she needs to rest… the other team members are all polite, friendly.

Tremendously Rude Store Manager with Poorest Customer Service (female rounded face, looks like the same person that other people are complaining from the past, see other reviews) and she doesn’t deserve to be working in Adidas. I am wondering how the staffs are working with their store manager with no respect to anybody. Let me know the name of the store manager with an ugly attitude.

A NZ European, I assume who is the store manager was just so incredibly disrespectful to an elderly Muslim lady and teenage grandson with other young grandchildren. Children lean over counters because they are children. How dare this horrible woman who should be the face of Adidas shoo children away as if they're irrelevant. For this reason we will be not be shopping at Adidas Dresssmart and I'm certain others have the same intent. Disgusting that someone of this calibre is employed in customer service. It will disappointng if this lady continues her employment there. She should be ashamed. This is not the Kiwi way.

What a joke of a branch. Please learn from my mistake and the many others before me. Think TWICE before shopping here. Bought a pair of shoes for my son and within ONE day the glue holding the outsole in place had begun to disintegrate. No worries though, faulty units happen but, when we brought it back for a replacement on September the 2nd 11:30am, we were refused a replacement by the store manager lady. She had the audacity to claim that the shoe was caught on something. What an embarassment of a store !

If I could give negative star I would purely for the store manager's (older lady with glasses) atittude! I saw there was a football at the counter which I'd like to take a look that day. So I asked one of their staffs if I could go and take a look at it. He said no problem, so I took it and just about to have a look, there was is European older lady staff yelled at me saying that I am not allowed to take the football and just took it off my hands and threw it straight to the back of the counter! I explained to her that I've already informed your staff and he said no problem! Then, when I asked if I want to "view the ball" I need to wait at the long queue just to "view" it? She didn't even bothered to answer me and walked away! Then this older lady manager told off her staff in front of me for letting me to take a look at the football! At the meantime, I asked another staff the same question, and she embarrassedly said yes...so I waited in the queue to check the price of the football, by the time they check the price, the young asian staff said, the price is wrong, it is not $110, it should be $260 and asked if I still want it!? Of cause not, what a waste of time! There was not even any apology from them for the wait, the wrong price tag which is misleading to customers! COME ON "MANAGER"! GET YOUR PRODUCT PRICING CORRECT AND GET YOUR ATTITUDE SORTED FIRST! How on earth this sort of manager can work in a famous sports brand store??? Throw your company's product on the counter like rubbish and told off your customers like this? No respect to your own products, customers and your own staff! The most funny thing is, I was told that I need to wait at the same lonnnng queue where people pay just to take a "look" at the product and see if I'd like it or not? Come on, it is not even an Louis Vuitton bag or fancy jewellery store that noone is allowed to touch? Get some better management please, this old manager is ruining people's mood to shop here! Disgusted by her awful attitude! Not the first person in the review who complained about her! Adidas should listen to customers feedback before hiring managers here!

Good prices but not great shopping experience. The music is so loud you can't hear yourself think which a total put off when wanting to have a relaxing shopping experience...not everyone wants to listen to Uber loud gangster rap
