Incredible selection of beers and great staff to help you make a choice out of the plethora of options. Good seating inside and out. White Lady was right next to it providing all the food you need as well. A great combination!

Love this place! Huge selections of beers available! Every week the food truck changes! Amazing! Always a good crowd here and the staff are knowledgeable on the beers that are served! Highly recommend the tasting bar! Pick 6 of the best beers!

A bit of a hard to find tin shed, but worth the effort. I always struggle with these places - dozens of craft beers that are just a name to me, never heard of them. However, they were reasonably helpful finding something I like (and I did like it!), without making me feel like an idiot. It's worth at least one visit, you'll probably spend a few quiet afternoons there!

Awesome place to spend an evening. Brilliant selection of drinks, wonderful staff, and delicious food truck. Parking available, great social atmosphere, and also dog friendly! Absolutely coming back here, 10/10.

The Beer Spot, non Beer review. I'm not a beer drinker at all, so going into this place, I knew I would have limitations on what I could order. Luckily the staff at The Beer Spot are... Spot on! They picked up on my resting confused face and offered assistance. They offered me a taster of 3 non beer alcoholic drinks. The Peach cider, Sangria & Ginger beer (ok this has beer in the title) I ordered the Ginger beer and Sangria later and enjoyed the flavours of both immensely. I've had my fair share of Sangria's and alcoholic ginger beers. The Beer Spot seemed to have got the balance right. The staff were super attentive and also happy to let me and my mate jabber away for hours. Great spot for refreshments and catch ups for sure.

I like how the menu classifies the type of beer and alcohol percentage it has. Easy to order since you literally just need the number of drink you want. Definitely not cheap but not too pricey either. There's a different food truck coming each week. Closes at 10pm, which I think is a bit early. Not enough parking, but then again, you're not meant to drink and drive anyway.

Awesome place. Dog friendly and very knowledgeable crew who really love helping with you getting a good brew. Food truck is an awesome addition and rotates frequently for good variety. My pick would be a quiet Thursday night Peach Bomb.

The Beer Spot is our absolute favourite place to go on the Shore for a drink. The food trucks change every week to keep things fresh, same with the beer choices! Such a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. It's super dog friendly, which is amazing!

Only actually disappointing thing is there doesn't appear to be a plan to open local to me and have a reward scheme. Also be cool if they opened local and did the 100 pint club. Other than that a MUST attend venue for one and all.

Awesome backyard brewery vibe, inside and outside seating options with great service. Lots of unique beers on tap. They have a rotation of food trucks so there's always something different (sometimes surprising options) when you visit!! Doggos friendly too!!

Excellent choice of beers, around 40 craft beers, some wines, some low alcohol, great food trucks. Rustic friendly setting.

Gorgeous experience here today! Met a client for a beer, turned into the as we enjoyed the sun, the great staff and some pretty sweet atmosphere. The selection of beers being impressive is an understatement, I was just glad that there were people behind the bar happy to guide me to what was good. Highly recommended! 5🍺/5

With 40 beers to choose from and food from the white lady and a choice of board games to play with family and friends in an inside and outside setting to enjoy an experience and create memories you can take with you long after you have gone for the soul and the spirit without drink it neat in a short glass with out get shot.

Great spot for a beer - literally! Awesome set-up, fantastic selection and good brews. Food was interesting but good match also. Definitely going back again for sure!

Great find! Space is tucked away behind some odd shops so you might miss it! There are 40 taps to choose from, get a tasting platter if you're keen on trying several types. There's also a food truck on weekly rotation if you need to grab a bite.

Great place for a Friday night brew. 40 drinks on tap, great selection. This weeks food stall was the British Yorkshire pudding Van. Top top scram, loved the beef Yorkshire wrap. Needs to serve pints.

Vast selection of beer with good food available. Staff friendly and have good knowledge of beers.

A fair brewery with a large selection of beers. The selection really does cater for all tastes, and the arrangement of the menu groups the beverages by type - this was a great way to order. Prices are premium prices, with $10.00 NZ being the starting point for any beer (from what I could tell). I find this to be at odds to the purpose of providing an extensive selection. The atmosphere is somewhat industrial but not too imposing. There is a small barber shop contained in the premises too.

Henry is top notch 👌 Great service and fresh beer. Plus the food truck next door adds to the experience. Must add, they played a Doors album while I was there. Super-sweet 👌

Great range of beers. Weekly change of food trucks vendors, means u get different foods all the time. Friendly staff and helpful too!

Somewhat misleading name - All beer. No spots. Even took my best bone-handles and chilled funnel. Nup. No spots to be had. Once we got past our initial disappointment, we drank a lot of beer. Very beery beer. So that was good.

  • 4/5 Grant B. 2 years ago on Google
Some of the wine was a bit pricey. $18. for a 220ml bottle. Choose wisely. The great selection of beers made up for it tho. Impressed with the variety. Very tasty.

Brilliant selection of beer, and have some good non alcoholic for the sober drivers of the group but would like to see a larger selection on that side

👍👍 I have been going to this place for at least the past 35 years. In fact I helped tile the baby pool with my father when I was about 10 years old. (recently been retiled). I now take my kids to swimming lessons every week and have done this for the past 4 to 5 years. My father still meets me up here...

👍👍 April 2023 - Second time here with 12yr old daughter and after a year, the portion sizes don't seem as filling although we did purposely go in having fasted for 20hrs so maybe that was the difference and not effects of inflation. We ordered two mains (beef burger with fries and lamb rump roast) as...
