Always meet here with my mates for a catch up. Service and food is always good when we are there.

Went there just wanting a quick beer. Service was not typical pub friendly, you could smell the old oil from the kitchen, music was loud and obnoxious, we ended up sitting outside. Not anywhere close to impressed, not going back 😒 this bar use to be great for a drink a couple of years ago.

Lovely staff, wonderful service always. Giving one star purely because it’s unfair on the staff that there’s no security. Often it’s two young women, or even just two people alone to deal with intoxicated people- that’s out of line, and have seen multiple instances when it’s escalated and there’s nothing the staff can do. It’s not their fault either! Come on, management.

Always have something to do and will never miss a live game of sport here, situated 100m from takapuna beach on a round a bout it’s always a good spot for a beer or wine in the sun. Great happy hour specials as well as good prices off peak, bar also offers snacks which are basic but nice as well as open to people eating food from elsewhere while having a drink here

You might call this corner spot a dive, but with live music and the outdoor benches, seats, and tables, it's not so bar for a quick pint. This outdoor area really reminds me of drinking outside on the streets of London. Beer tap selection is basically all Mac's.

Had run out of my drink of choice when I got there at 9.30pm on a Saturday night but the staff were friendly and had an alternative to offer so all good. Food very salty - guess it encourages one to buy more drinks!

Fairly basic but to be expected as it really is just a public bar. For what is offered it is a tiny bit on the high side when it comes to pricing but overall the atmosphere kind'a makes up for that. Huge outdoor area which is well patronized especially Thursday to Sunday.

They were training new staff. A friend and I were drinking Guinness and Pale Ale. Thinking that ours was a good order for the new guys to learn to pull, we sat there and drank a while lot more than we paid for! And the barman replaced a beer he heard me spill. Can't think of any better reasons to leave a 5 star review! Great place!

I have been here a few times and always had a good time. The food was up to stand and the beers were good 👍

walked in with my wife after our anniversary dinner, looking to drink a few cocktails to celebrate. Asked the young bartender for a “Gin Bramble” cocktail which is printed on the drinks menu. Bartender asked if that was a wine…said no its on the drinks list as a cocktail…response was…”oh we dont do that anymore”. We walked out and spent $400 somewhere else. Poor service and bad attitude.

A perfect place throughout the year to catch up with friends with a good wine/beer selection. It has a nice seating area outside which is ideal on a hot summer's day or evening and is perfect for a pre dinner drink, as it's surrounded by great restaurants. The staff are also very pleasant. One of my regular haunts.
