The food is ok, nothing special but really expensive. The kids lamb pie is not good at all my daughter couldn't take more than one bite and I agreed with her. Cocktails were nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice small playground for kids. Family friendly. There is an outdoor area for smokers

A great pub with family atmosphere, live musics (sometimes) and welcoming to dogs. A cool place to go with friends and share a jug or two of your favourite beer. Plenty of carpark but it gets pretty busy on weekends - we recommend booking a table if you’re on a big group.

The setting is lovely for a drink, but the food was frozen stuff bought in from BidFood or similar. There was no flavour. The "chef" wasn't able to advise what was in the ranch sauce and when we asked the Waitress she shrugged her shoulders. Great place for drinks, but not for food in my opinion...

Barman didn't know anything about whiskeys or rum and we had to point at our food on the menu so he knew what we wanted. Pretty basic food I ordered nachos and got more sour cream than meat 😂 can't beat the atmosphere though, very family friendly and many settings indoor and out for enjoying a meal or drink. We came at lunch on Sunday and left around 2.30 right when entertainment were setting up(a band). Would of been nice to have them there for lunch!

I ordered the Caesar salad 🥗 first but it wasn’t a regular Caesar salad. They don’t cut the leafs, the dressing is not mixed either, it’s just thrown there and tastes like pure vinegar, very strong taste. The poached egg was actually a boiled egg and the bacon was burned and too salty. I gave up on the salad and ordered a pasta fettuccini, which was amazing! I wanted the banana smoothie with a different type of milk as well, unfortunately it wasn’t possible. Not sure why though, they do coffee so I’m wondering if they don’t sell coffee with soy milk or coconut milk… ended up having peppermint tea! I’m happy they exchanged my plate.

Just average and not tasty food, overpriced, first time ever we were asked to give our bank card to hold during our visit.... Day time, family visit, not much customers. Definitely got not the best impression but decided to wait for a food.... And we got kind of a super cheap version of pizza (the worst one I have tried), a coleslaw with some bits of chicken and basic cocktails (non alcoholic) for $90+. But coffee was good.

Large place with bar, indoor and outdoor seating. Also separate private room for functions. Play area for children. Table service and good food

i was so excited to try this place but so disappointed with my experience. maybe it’s because we ordered burgers (DONT GET THEIR BURGERS) instead of proper dishes, or that it’s more of a bar, but it’s unjustifiable nonetheless. for a $28 burger, i would expect fancy lettuce, cherry tomatoes, 2 pieces of bacon, and a nice caramelised bun at the LEAST, not to mention good tasting patties. we got the fried chicken burger and loaded burger. they came looking like motel food. the fries quite literally taste worse than kfc fries on a bad day, they’re soggy yet stale, and had no flavour. the chicken burger had 2 pieces of lettuce, 1 strip of the cheapest bacon available, 2 pickle slices, and a thin, dry, weird consistency piece of chicken. the “loaded burger” was very much unloaded and the “wagyu” beef pattie was … disgusting. the buns which already tasted horrible, were all soggy from the wet tomato and lettuce. our table was very sticky. we had to wait a long time for our order to be taken despite there being many waitresses hanging around and not many other diners. the only compliment i can give to The Postman’s Leg is that their toilets are super clean and that their cups passed my sniff test. will definitely not come back again. service: 2.5/5 environment: 4.5/5 value: 0/5 quality: 0/5 taste: 0/5

Thank you for the wonderful service. Had a family gathering, and the amazing team helped with the cake we brought. The food was delicious and the man with the Long hair (sorry didn't get name) was charming and professional. Will be back again

We had our daughters 21st in the Leg Room in Saturday night. The barman Ryan was awesome. Fast & efficient service, great banter & looked after us wonderfully.

Probably the best family restaurant I have seen. It huge with different areas. You can choose outdoor seats or indoor bar/restaurant. The live music and playground are very popular among locals.

Always a good time, with live music and fun night events often on weekends, the staff are always prompt and friendly and the food is always good. Great place to host a function whatever the occasion. It's one of my all-time favourite bars/restaurants to enjoy a drink and a meal and I couldn't recommend this business more. Great work guys, keep it up!

Haven't been here for about 40 years. Came to watch a Neil Diamond tribute show on a Saturday evening. Well done Mark Taipari. Well behaved patrons of various ages. On site restaurant, well stocked bar and a variety of seating choices both inside and out. Feeling safe in a pub is important. I felt safe... and enjoyed myself during my four hours of drinking 🥂 and dancing 💃🕺

Slow cooked nachos is basically bean pure on chips. Beers served flat and warm. Struggled to get any kind of table service. Would not recommend going here. The food and services requires some much needed attention.

2 adults & 4 children midweek dinner out. Restaurant wasn’t busy. Staff were too busy talking around the indoor cash register to notice new patrons enter. I asked for 6 menus and told them where we we’d sit. After deciding what we wanted, we sat & waited for someone to take our order. Staff were too invested in their cash register conversations to notice we were ready to order drinks and food so I went inside and gave our order. The 2 orders of Ribs were extremely disappointing. The sauce tasted like it was recycled for a month or 2 and the Ribs were tough. You’re better off getting the pre boxed Marinated Ribs from Pak n Save. I asked the waitress for 2 finger bowls, to wash the hideous sauce off our fingers, and she looked annoyed that I asked & confused about my request. There was absolutely nothing good about their so called “Loaded Burger”, it certainly wasn’t loaded with fillings or flavour. The kids burger was so dry you needed a drink after each bite to help swallow it. The only thing the children liked was the cheesy pizza bread & the fries, that weren’t smothered in the disgusting Rib sauce. The only thing I liked, was the play area for the children, but I absolutely won’t return to eat there. They have the nerve to charge so much for such bad quality food and service.

Great place, with good food, and a great atmosphere. Awesome place to take the kids, with plenty to keep them entertained. Service could have been slightly better but other than that, had an awesome evening.

Amazing food along with live band performance last Sunday. Restaurant was busy but staff co-ordination was amazing. A guy managing the team was amazing how he was handling the busy rush hours delegating task not too sure what was his name but it seem to be quite professionally handled by him. He was making sure each guest was taken care of. Highly recommended. Well done

A great Mother's Day Brunch with family! It's a great place to have a relaxed family gathering. It was great being able to watch our grandson play as we were able to be seated close to the playground! The staff were very helpful with our dietary needs! Thank you to the Postman's Leg staff! Kind regards, Alison Hobbs

Such a cool pub that caters to family! A lot of young parents catch up with friends here while their kids are playing in the sandpit or jumping on the trampoline! I had a great time catching up with my new-mom role couple friends, even her 2.5 year had a lot of fun ( and “patience” haha most importantly)

A Perfect Blend of Fun, Food, and Relaxation for All Ages! The service throughout my visit was exceptional. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about providing a memorable experience for every guest. Their warm and friendly attitude created a welcoming environment, making me feel like a valued customer from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. In conclusion, this pub is a hidden gem that combines a fantastic outdoor area, a children's playground, delectable food, and a remarkable beer selection. Whether you're looking for a fun family outing, a gathering with friends, or simply a place to unwind with a quality meal and a pint, this pub is an excellent choice. The combination of exceptional service, great food, and a relaxed atmosphere will leave you wanting to come back for more. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

We had our daughter's birthday at the postman's leg. We booked the marquee area. it was great and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. We loved the food, just the salmon sushi platter, rice was quite dry. Otherwise pizza slabs and other hot sharing platter were good. We also enjoyed the live band. Thank you

Great venue. Very overstaffed (quiet night). Basic Pub fare Menu is overpriced Suggest a menu change which will better reflect target market and price accordingly. Dined in on Sat 18th Dec 2022 7.30pm Initial sit down service was good until the meal was served.25 minutes later (we were the only diners in the restaurant) at the time to eat. Carafe of water served was warm. The Steak meal presentation was nice however the cost $43.90 was NOT justified. We ordered medium rare and received medium cooked. We chose to eat it because we waited long enough to get the meal. Staff did not come back to the table to check in nor did they clear our table. 20 minutes after meal was eaten I cleared our table and took the dishes to the kitchen. The waiting staff were folding napkins and chatting. One male who had just come on shift apologized and came to clean our table where my guest was having a beer. We paid the bill 30 minutes later and left.

We had a lovely family lunch. The food was delicious and very hassle free with the little ones as they were busy on the playground and in the sandpit. Great parking too. Would definitely go again.

Great food, tasty frozen cocktails, but service was average. The waitress was nice but didn't have much idea of the menu when asked about it. Would visit again

Never had a problem with the food here. It is always well cooked and tasty and I come weekly for the quiz night. Light and spacious, out door area, kid friendly and not too expensive considering it's on the North Shore.

Saw the Rocket Men here. Good show. Good food (my wife thought a bit salty - personal preference maybe). The restaurant was overloaded and understaffed. They said to expect delays from the start, and brought some free snacks as compensation. Then our food arrived, so I ate too much. All in all a good night out. Thanks.

We had a function in The Leg Room recently and we all had a wonderful evening. The Event Manager Tamara did a great job planning and organising our event ahead of time to ensure we have the best experience, and boy did they deliver! The staff were respectful and friendly; they were prompt with what we needed. The food and service were excellent! I definitely recommend The Postman’s Leg for functions. A very family-oriented restaurant. LOVED IT!
