Amazing place to hangout, no matter what time of the day :-) Iconic selection of drinks and memorable food choices!! Love it every time.

Tried this place for the first time as we were looking for somewhere close to where we were (out of our usual neighbourhood) with a nice outdoor area for a sunny day. Food was delicious, drinks awesome (great selection of tap beer and even had an alcoholic ginger beer which is my husbands favourite!), great setting and good service - so nice to try somewhere new with zero disappointment!!

Yummy ! Great atmosphere and nice staff. We went to our girls night out and everything was great. The portions , quality and deserts and drinks all great. Totally recommend. Thsnks !

Good food and ambiance. Could do with more staff and better service these days. The meat platter was delicious but not enough serving. Better making individual orders. Loved the Jalapeño and cheese dumplings.

What a great spot! We dined here on the evening of Good Friday and loved it. Being catholic, we limited ourselves a bit with our order and stuck to sharing the fish bites and one of the vegetarian pizzas - I think the buffalo one with caramelised onion. Both were delicious and I would happily order them again! The fit out is modern and welcoming, and the staff were really lovely. We aren't local so it may be some time before we get back, but if we do I'd love to try some of their other dishes! 10/10

Great food and a lovely cosy atmosphere. Met up with a friend and we shared a few plates : Cauliflower, Buttermilk Chicken, and wild caught Fish. Everything was cooked to perfection and so tasty & tender. The Cauliflower was hands down the hero dish of the night. I will have to come back.

F&T used to make out favorite wood fired pizza on the Shore. I’m not sure if the ownership changed or it’s smth else but tonight’s takeaway was an utter disappointment. Both pizzas were watery and not properly backed. I honestly feel like they used some frozen pizza dough which is unacceptable when you pay $56 for two medium-size pizzas. The pepperoni pizza had only a few weird pepperonis and heaps of caramelized onion (what was it even doing on a pepperoni?). The chicken pizza barely had any chicken but instead had some stinky gooseberry jam all over it. We ate one slice and threw away the rest. Very disappointing considering we used to love the place. Definitely do not recommend.

We called in last Wednesday evening. Very impressed - lots of improvements have been made since first reopening after Covid. Staff were bright, friendly and efficient. We had excellent service and the food was great! Well done 👍

Poor experience. Stood at the reception area awkwardly for quite some time while a young woman was trying to charge up an order, barely acknowledging us. We asked for a table for two and said we were happy to be seated outside. We asked if we needed to place an order first, take a table number or wait to be attended to and got a gruff response that someone would come to us to take our order. Half an hour later, and as we’re watching her chit chatting around with another staff member we just decided to leave.

Service is great, my friend and I had a lovely talk with one of the waitresses. You can order off the QR code on the table, and your drinks come very quickly. The cocktails used to be a lot bigger, but they recently downsized them, so they lose a star on food for that. Beers are still just as big, decent prices for them and the drinks that are still big. The food menu is decent as well, I would recommend the pizzas. They are very yummy and decent in size. Overall a good bar, friendly staff and good service, food and drinks are good, and they are super accommodating for events as well.

I've been to Fantail & Turtle a number of times before, but after attending a private function (They do those!) this week I had to take the time to review. EMMA was amazing! She looked after us with a welcoming smile from the moment we arrived...to the moment her shift finished. She fit in so well with our team and made sure we had a great evening. PLUS nice and easy central location, great food (incl GF Pizzas), relaxed atmosphere and great drinks. I recommend the Bloody Shiraz Gin Sour.

Great selection of craft beers. Excellent food ranging from bar snacks to full meal. Modern menu with some interesting dishes. Service as always excellent.

Fantail & Turtle did an amazing job hosting our wedding party. Everyone commented on how amazing the food was, we had the grazing table, pizza and walk and forks. The atmosphere was fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to book this for a large gathering.

I was really surprised at the energy and level of atmosphere here. Heaps of people enjoying a Friday or Saturday night in the winter around the fires and patio heaters. Table service relies on the app and the staff running drinks are rushing and impersonable so I wouldn't give it amazing service ratings. Going up the the bar however was a decent experience and the bartenders were friendly and helpful. All in all a good experience and my preferred stop for a chill evening out on the shore.

Great food and atmosphere. We were here for a ladies Christmas lunch as they have a gorgeous, large outdoor area. The drinks took a while to come out but that was probably because there were so many many of us. Can imagine it would be a cool place for a night out.

Looooove eating and entertaining at Fantail & Turtle. Always feel comfortable bringing my team (or clients) to this establishment as I know we will always be well looked after.

Loved it here. Great service, amazing food, and decent prizes. Love that you can bring your dog. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They only make reservations for groups, so if you’re going out as a couple, it might be tough to get a table - we were lucky but sat further removed from the centre. It was quite cold there but the waitresses were so lovely and made sure we had plenty of blankets and the heater directed at our backs. Can absolutely recommend!

Didn't know what to make of the place TBH. Layout is cool, good was good, staff nice... But I was pretty confused about how to order anything. Maybe I'm out of touch? Maybe. But also the staff were friendly so I didn't have to think to hard. I guess they saw me and my dumbfounded face a mile off haha

We hosted an awesome party at Fantail and Turtle. The service was great, food was great. We had a party of 40 people there and the team at Fantail and Turtle looked after us. Highly recommend the place.

Great environment, fantastic friendly staff, good choice of drinks, food was pretty nice but hugely expensive. ($170.00 for seafood platter) Had really yummy bucket of mussels in creamy chowder but the chef did not allow us to order a side of bread to soak it up. Only option was extra $18 for dukkah, dips, and 4 small slices of foccacia.

We went this restaurant for our grown-up son's birthday with family of 4 and our tiny doggy. The food was excellent and the staff were superb. Will definitely visit there again. Thanks for the memorable family birthday for us. 😍😍😍

Interesting experience, atmosphere was good. However we were seated, water and glasses were plonked on our table and we didn't see wait-staff until our food was plonked on our table and we didn't see them again. We worked out the online ordering system on our own. It took way longer than it would have if we just gave our order to an actual person. The cheek of them to ask for a tip on the online ordering system was a joke-for what service?? Food was nice.

Always good food here. Lunch and dinner. Reasonable prices too. Beautiful spot. Tip: try sitting in the glass house if it's available! Will keep coming here.

Always a good time here. Great atmosphere, staff are always welcoming and entertaining too! Almost feel like I'm hanging out at someone's house. That's how cosy it is. Tap selection is amazing. We diversed from the beers and tucked into their mulled wine, peach bomb & alcohollic ginger beer. All were a delight to the taste buds. Between the two of us we shared 3 plates. Which we couldn't finish. Great servings and tasty options. All well priced too. Can't wait to do it again!

Lovely place, great food. Staff were a bit fresh, but I'm sure they will be all good come summer. The drinks menu is very extensive and I enjoyed the sodas.

Best place to go after work. Great menu, great drink selection, great staff and service. Can get a bit windy through the good side, but the team have done a good job to make it really comfy through there with outdoor heaters and blankets in sheltered areas. Very cute

Nice place to chill out with friends and family. Food was fresh and prompt. The staff were so lovely and accommodating made us feel welcomed. I have to give 1 less star for the Churros which were under cooked and when I sent them back they simply tried to recook them. We will definitely come back.
