Kia ora- Security Guard on Friday night was very rude and made me feel degraded. I provided him with my I.D which was completely fine, but he asked to search my bag, which I was also fine with…..but he really did the most and didn’t provide consent when he started digging in my bag and opening items and taking them out. He declined my entry because he had suspicions but no evidence?!!! I was clear and transparent from the start that I had nothing to hide or declare. Apologies, I won’t be returning to your establishment. I expect respect in return, but your team failed.

The place is really cool, the cocktails are a bit expensive (18$), but the fries are quite cheap (5$). The mojito is really good.

Great view of the harbor, happy hour is good value, and they also offer alcohol free options. Friendly, helpful staff.

Great little student/backpacker bar. Happy hour is very cheap with a good selection of drinks. Food is basic but cheap (NZ$10 for a 9 inch pizza or beef nachos). Great value for money.

BE-CAREFUL this place will over charge your card and tell you that you purchased items you didn't order. Owner was quick to get details of the purchase; however, would not refund my money.

This place is great for it's happy hour. They ahve really cheap drinks. Location is good too as it's right at the water front in the cbd. Bathrooms are not always clean, it's super loud and service is not great... but you really go to this pleace because of the cheap drinks.

Cool little bar in CBD near M Social hotel that I was staying at. Everything alcohol wise is pricey in this area if you are from the US but this place was the most reasonable I found. Cute little German bartender (even if she didn't know what Mescal was) tried her best to make me an Old Fashioned with Rye Whiskey (the only real Old Fashioned) . Would be a good place to go if you are getting on or off a cruise ship, particularly at happy hour.

Apart from the dip in the floor of the girls loo..lovely hospitable staff, cool music, open fire, top notch specials and the view... couldn't ask for more!!!

Josie is a great bar manager who looked after multiple tables all on her own, while setting the bar up. Great spot, great deals, by the water.

We have spent a plaisant moment until the waitress with a blue short and white shirt (and brown / black hair) served us. She was awful !!! Very unpolite I don’t know why. But otherwise the pub is nice

This was a great find, can't believe I've not been here before, but arrived during Happy Hour which made the drinks even better value and helped get the evening off to a good start.. some great music playing too, a right eclectic mix of all sorts, but definitely singing along to most of them.. will definitely be back, get there between 5 and 7!

Good place in the CBD to grab a drink, listen to some loud music and spend time with friends. Weekends are crowded and chances of finding a seat inside is hard. We had a Classic pizza and draught beers which was okay.

Bar staff need to learn how to smile my first time here and was surprised how unfriendly they were otherwise the atmosphere was good and enjoyed our time

A great place to get some beers with friends a meet a lot of people. On Wednesday the beer is $4 so perfect to party. The music can be much better.

NYE party on the wharf what a disaster!!! Why sell a ticketed event, then let anyone in if they pay entry… then tell already stamped patrons they have to join the line to get in. Why am I.. someone who has paid a ticket… waiting in line with people who DON’T have a ticket? The line went down the block so we ended up going somewhere else, you’ve robbed people! They can’t get in but they’ve paid to get in is daylight robbery! If someone has a stamp or a ticket they should get priority entry over randoms off the street… that’s the point of the ticket? Change it for next year. I went to Saint Alice, which was far better. Didn’t have to wait in a 2 hour line to get in!

The music was great. A lot of throwbacks, especially to Jump Jam songs from primary. But is a very cramped space. Got hit in the head by someone walking past and im not short. But otherwise nice stop before a bigger bar/club.

Really good Bar, a lot of fun people and travelers here. They have really good and cheaps specials. I was here a few Times and loved it.

Sadly the worst bar I've been to in Auckland I've been there seven times each time the bartenders are bad they don't care about the customers they laugh with each other they dance and they let you wait for more than five minutes until you get your order. The bartenders have bad manners and treatment. An altercation occurred between them and one of the people in the bar, and they were the ones at fault, as they made the customer wait for a long time and argued with them, and their reaction was that they told him that he and his companions will not offer you the drinks and you must leave. They did nothing. That it is unfair only because they have the right to refuse to serve you. They do this even if it is their fault

Was super super packed when we went in for a drink. The vibe didn't feel right so we finished our drinks as fast as we could and left.

Reasonably priced pub which is open late most nights, has a fair selection of craft and standard beers. Om student nights it can be a bit noisy. Has a good smokers' covered area with heating. An ideal place to wait for the next Waiheke ferry; always come here us I have more than 20 minutes to wait. The staff are efficient and friendly and the bouncers courteous when present.

If you're looking for cheap beer, here's your place! Happy hour last for several hours, pitchers are 20!

Literally the bar101 for non first years. It’s worth the price (free) and when it’s not plagued with creepy old men it’s not too bad. It would be better if they didn’t play the entire song from start to finish but beggars can’t be choosers (literally) and also why are you playing crazy frog we left that in like 2011

Communication between staff members is not good at all and new staff members have really bad service. Moody staff members and unprofessional employees. Only thing to keep u going here is the music if you’re under the influence enough.

$5 happy hour house wines with a few of the harbour and great outdoor seating with heaters. Seemed to be dog friendly and enjoyed the company of a French bulldog making the rounds looking for food offerings.

Love the backpacker nights on a Tuesday only issue is that people seem to go there in groups already so it's difficult to meet people. Also if you don't drink beer and the one cider runs out you're kinda stuck! Bar staff were very nice and helpful, only thing to improve would maybe be to do games or a quiz to get people mingling!

Since I went on Wednesday which is student night...it was a deal breaker with $6 beer and free entry. Great jam and they totally got me grooving to the beats. Loved the ambiance and staff. Cheerful people with a great positive vibe. Cheers!

Absolutely the best service, great drinks and again the best service me and my partner are here friday night tonight. I swear i have never been to a bar where the service is great, set up is more than enough. Only one lady behind the bar her name is Josey and she is doing the greatest job to me i may have been under pressure if in her shoes. But please stop in here no matter what she is the best.

Unpretentious and relaxing, but has obviously, like Princes Wharf, seen better days. They allowed smoking on the deck, making it somewhat unpleasant. I hope Provedor finds its game again.

Big compliments to the bar tender who was serving me tonight! Wish I could give a better review but the bouncer working that night didn’t look after the wahine patronage who were being harassed by some aggressively harassing lads. Furthermore, he tried to scrap me when I called him out as I left.
