Every time I’m at other bars, I seem to hear the same stories about QF… and it’s concerning that they’re all from young women. From one girl being trespassed there immediately for reacting to a racist but nothing being done about the creepy & persistent male patrons there just because they are “regulars” (disgusting double standard), to another girl sharing that she no longer goes to QF after sharing with the bartender that a male patron there had harassed her but was instead bullied by the bartender for it - and what is most disappointing, is that this was by the female bartender Hanna at the time. And these are just two of several stories I have heard about the shocking double standards and culture there. Word on the street and in other bars is that QF is not a great place at all. Visited this place myself once, and even as a man, I can confirm that it isn’t somewhere I would want my sisters/daughters to be at. Management & staff need to step up, because I have not heard one good thing about this place and the reputation it currently has is quite embarrassing.

Used to come here quite frequently at the old location for the karaoke but unfortunately won’t be stepping near this place again. Too many dodgy stories about this place, management needs to step up!

My favourite pub in Auckland central - proper ‘local’ 🍺🤘 Great service, good eats, decent pints for decent prices, a leafy outdoor space, warm, clean, inviting decor and the best vintage tunes. It’s such a sanctuary. Don’t go changing!

Quirkiest ever bar!! Not that flash with furnishings but hey what a good vibe bar💯 If u live for a good vibe and anything goes then this is definitely for you!!

Go there! Have a drink, meet Paul, he's a great guy. Stumbled in there for a beer because we stayed next door and met the nicest guy around. Have a beer there and give him some love!

Great location to people watch and just send the wife off shopping and get her to pick you up after shopping and let her drive! For me the down was a Lion breweries establishment with the usual standard beers and only a couple of craft beers... Enjoyed my time there otherwise!

Great cheap and cheerful pub in the heart of the city. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza good flavours.

It is what it is, and that's not a criticism. A good bar with reasonable prices, not a gastropub so don't expect finesse on the food. Just sit, drink, and enjoy. Relaxed vibe.

Good for drinks in the early evening:) open late but gets rowdy so prefer to go till 8pm

Very good pizzas and filling …must try Shubham the manager is very friendly helpful and always smiling… keep up d good work!! They screen world cup cricket matches and open till late so must go place!! All staff friendly and shubham also great guy!!! Thankss for everything😇😇

Cheap drinks, service was great, the place could do with a bit of a good scrub. But the place was welcoming. Location was perfect and happy hour is 👌🏽

Am a traveling chef from overseas came to auckland for a holidays and the staff without any problems they won't serve us any drinks and they refuse to do the service for us totally disappointed and never expected this from a place like this totally not recommended at all even the staff listen to the customer to identify the customer So bad and disgraceful have to wake up guys have a good success

Shubi and Jenny were incredibly attentive and were incredibly hospitable. I had an incredible time. Would certainly recommend.

Had a great time and Paul the manager was great. Going back tomorrow to watch the NFL championship games. Very good pricing and great location.

Good selection of pokie machines & open until 4am most days. Bar staff are friendly. Central City location. Parking on road can be challenging at times but there's a pay parking building opposite.

Awesome pub, hidden upstairs just around the corner from sky city. Bar staff are very down to earth and alot of fun, decent gaming room, outside smoker area, tap beer, footy, chicks. What more can ya ask for.

Yeah I was drinking with a lovely woman. We watched a lot of gay couples having a gay oh time 😌

This place is a regular stop for a friend of ours. Was quiet when we visited on a Thurs night, but the staff were friendly the prices reasonable and food we tried (pizza and fries) hit the spot nicely. Will be back for sure.

This is probably the best bar In the cbd. But given the barstaff knowledge they had my drink waiting awesome place to drink xxx
