I recently visited Ellerslie Bakery and Cafe and was thoroughly impressed! The food was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they had gluten-free options available. The prices were also very reasonable. What stood out to me the most, however, was the friendly and polite staff. They made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer, which was greatly appreciated. Let's support local businesses like Ellerslie Bakery and Cafe that not only offer great food but also excellent service. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area and want to support a fantastic local business. Maria Ellerslie

I was driving through the neighbourhood and was starving. I asked Google to recommend a good bakery for lunch, which is what came up. What a treasure! Ordered a gourmet steak cheese pie and a latte. Coffee was above the standard but much better than 95% of bakery I have had. But the pie was AWESOME! Very rich wine flavour, big chunk of meat, fanatic pastry, everything is excellent! You have to try it whenever you pass by! Highly recommended!

Such a gorgeous small business with wonderful employees. I was in their for about 2 hours and it was always booming with customers. The variety in flavours of pies as well as pastries that fit different dietary requirements was so superb. I ordered a Cranberry Chicken Camembert pie, an iced mocha as well as a few pastries including cheesecake, apricot tart, and others and they were all so delightful. I also left a laptop at their bakery and contacted them after closing hours and they were gracious enough to wait for me to retrieve it, as well as treat us to some end of day baked goods. Highly HIGHLY recommend and I will definitely be going back.

My coffee tastes burnt, fresh cream doughnut was way too sweet! The wagyu beef with red curry pie was good but disappointed with the gourmet deluxe steak and cheese pie, which had too much gravy.

Yum!! I guess there are worse things to be addicted to right. The caramelised Pork Pie, yum. Chocolate Cake, yum. Vegan Pecan Pie, yum. Your deliciousness is making me need to work extra hard in the gym just to come back for more as I work my way through the cabinet of yummy 😀

I didn’t get the chance to photograph my steak, jalapeño and cheese pie before it was inhaled. Oh my lord this place is next level and I can now see why they have won so many national pie awards. Wish I had come sooner and will be back in no time. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales

The pies are just good. A nice surprise to find this patisserie at Takapuna’s main Street. Vegetarian and vegan pies are also available. The service is warm and friendly.

Hands down the best pies (vegan or otherwise) that I've had in New Zealand. The shells are flaky and fillings are so incredibly moist. Very happy for the wide selection of vegan pie options available.

Had a baked cheesecake, pecan pie and a raspberry cake and a wagyu red curry pie! Had them for takeaway, really good, few places that I can actually call a good bakery! Really good variety of options, plus many stores around. Worth a visit!

I went vegan quite a few years ago and one of the things I've missed when I come back to NZ are the meat pies. I found this bakery and had to check it out. There are so many options for vegans and non-vegans. I ordered the vegan mince & cheese pie and vegan sausage roll while my family got a steak cheese & jalapeno pies, regular mince pie and a meat sausage roll. We were all very happy with our food. The staff was also incredibly nice. Will definitely make this place a go to spot every time I make the trip back.

Had been wanting to try this place for ages but was sadly a bit underwhelmed but the G. Steak & Cheese. Thought I'd go for a classic to benchmark against others, but felt had too much gravy and not enough meat/ cheese. They definitely had some super interesting flavour options though, so I'll give it another go for sure and branch out next time.

Visited this shop Friday around 11:15am. Ordered creamy mushroom chicken pie. Overall very tasty pie! The creamy sauce was tasty and had some spice to it. A lot of filling. Will definitely try there other pies too! Sausage roll was tasty as well. If you are in the area defs give it a try!

I've been meaning to try this place out for a while. I tried 2 pies: a steak & mushroom and a caramelised pork. I was highly impressed with the S&M but underwhelmed by the CP. I liked the wide range of pies on offer and was also impressed by the large range of vegetarian pies available. From my experience... Clearly not every pie can be a winner. However there's certainly enough variety to pique your interest. I'll definitely be back.

Delicious pies.. not the healthiest thing to eat but most of their pies are so good. Mince and cheese, steak and bacon, green curry…..

We absolutely wanted to try the vegan pies and were pleasantly surprised. We tried a variety of their sweet and savoury pastries and enjoyed every single one of them. We realy appreciated the kindness and patience from the staff and liked the ambience in the small shop. Thank you for the great food!

On my way home from tv studio I stopped to pick up a palusami pie that one of my local bakeries has started making. Here is my review. I’ve found other palusami pies from other places dry but this one it’s like the coconut cream and onions in the luau was a nice sauce with the taro leaves cooked well so you don’t get that normal after taste with some palusami. Big lamb pieces in there so a hybrid of palusami and lu sipi. Very good flavour tbh once I took one bite I kept going, nice add with pepper in there. The taro pieces inside the pie was different as it’s normally what we use to scoop up the palusami goodness but makes sense to have it in the pie. I thought well done it was delicious! Richoux Patisserie you can find them along the shops in Ellerslie Main Street opposite Four Square. Also it’s pricey for a pie but it is worth it but seriously I don’t know how they did it but they got the palusami in a pie just right

Born in NZ and lived on pies my whole life and I'm Soo impressed with the quality of the pies I had here. 100% recommend to try! Pastry was on point and gravy was perfectly balanced. Meat super flavourful just needed a few more pieces but overall a solid 8.5/10 for our first experience. Well done and thank you.

The very best pies in Auckland! The slow cooked wagyu beef &red curry pie, vegetarian pie were delicious and there's LOTS of vegan pie options too

The pies took me to another world. I had a steak & cheese and bacon & egg. The filling was very tasty and the pastry that melts in your mouth held it all together too well. We ate in to get the full in-flight experience.

Love the variety of vegan pies available in this shop. Highly recommend the green curry pie, it the yummiest with best balance of crunch, spice and creaminess. The person at the counter was so helpful to answer my questions and provide suggestions.

We bought pies and donuts and they were fresh crisp and delicious. The food is amazing and is one of the best bakeries in Auckland. The people were also wonderful. I would recommend to everyone

It's not hard to see why this place is award-winning. Their pies and pastries are amazing with a large range of vegan options available. A little expensive for a bakery, but well worth it

Supreme Pie in Auckland, New Zealand but I like Almond Croissants 😁

The food is generally quite nice, however twice now I’ve been given the wrong pie. The first time was a delivery order during lockdown, so I understood a mistake could be made. But this time it was in person. I asked for a smoked fish pie, and when I got home I found it was a steak pie… lucky I don’t have any particular dietary needs…

Best meat pie in the area. I haven’t come across with a better pie in Auckland actually. They often run out of the signature steak and cheese pie (or mince and cheese) but they are tend have new batch every 10-20min. So you could walk across the road and go to four square or something and come back.
