They provide good service! But I don’t really like my French toast with orero cookie in the middle. My friend ordered honey chicken and omelet are better than mine!

The brunch mains were plated far more nicely than I expected which more than made up for the price; like I've never paid that much for a chili cheese dog, but I've also never seen one look like this and be so big. What I must get next time though is the mince on toast because after seeing someone else get it, I was envious as that would have been even better. I also like their version of carrot cake in that it's very moist and dense which for me was perfect. It gets VERY busy for lunch so make reservations

Absolutely perfect. Got a coffee and eggs Benedict with a side of mushrooms. Eggs qere cooked perfectly, the hollandaise sauce was delicious and fresh. Mushrooms were HUGE and the potato the gas were onto of was just the perfect size and crispy. Very appropriately priced. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Definitely going to go back here if I'm in the area. Even if just for the coffee. Divine

Not your average cafe on the street. They know you will take food selfie so meals are articulated and well designed. Once you dig in to that dish you also discover their passion for taste buds. Loved it! Great service and food arrived timely

We really enjoyed our lunch here! The cafe is a beautiful space, with sunshine streaming in during the day. The staff are friendly and add to the atmosphere. Food was delicious, with special mention of the chicken waffles with bacon - good flavour and size.

This place is very popular. There were lots of people here when we came for brunch. Fortunately for us there was a spare table and we were seated immediately. The menu has plenty of options and caters to vegan, vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free dietary needs. The food was presented beautifully and tasted as good as it looked. My family and I were very impressed. Although this gourmet style food was reflected in the price. Between us we had Banoffee French Toast, an Omlett and the Classic Bagel which were all delicious. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the flavoured sodas. We ordered a Cherry and Pomegranate soda which came with a lemon in it. It was very bland. Honestly just tasted like lemon water. Apart from that everything else was wonderful.

A cozy cafe. Spacious seating. Coffee are good, salad are beautiful and delicious. Staff are warm and nice.

This place is so popular, make sure you make a booking if you plan to come in for brunch on weekends. Love all their menu, super tasty and great service too.

Amazing place for brunch! It was busy, but the staff was very attentive and friendly. Delicious food and good portion as well. First time there and I’m definitely coming back! We had: chilli hot dog and fried chicken waffles. Recommend!

My Thai Beef salad was absolutely delicious! Beef was very tender. Very refreshing- the mint leaves made a world of difference! Wish there was more! Also had the anti-aging smoothie which was delightful. Servers were all very nice and friendly. Would love to come back again to try the different dishes! Side note: Are Shore cafés really just more expensive compared to ones here down South? :(

was really looking forward to trying out honey cafe after hearing a lot of good reviews, but i overall didn’t enjoy it much :( the staff are all very friendly and nice and service was great, no problems there. we got the chicken n waffles, the chilli cheese dog, side of fries, a blueberry and a mango smoothie, total of $75!!!. just personally didn’t like the taste of the food very much at all- nothing special and prefer the same dishes from other cafes. the mustard was an overkill on the chilli cheese dog. the waffle honestly tasted like supermarket waffles like it was so bland and soggy as if it were microwaved. the smoothies were really not worth it at all though, you could barely taste the flavour of the smoothie, like my tropical (mango) smoothie was like a banana smoothie and they just tasted like weird and funky. for such a bustling cafe, my expectations were definitely higher. portions are decent but i cant get over how underwhelming the taste of everything was. will not be visiting again anytime soon :( a bit random but the water cups did not pass my sniff test. also the tables were kinda sticky 😭😭😭

The big breakfast just served was great ... as my kids were bragging about BUT when we went in and seated ourselves 4 of us, the male server informed us somebody was seated. So we have to move to a smaller table. Guess what, 3 Caucasian women just 2 minutes later sat on same spot we wanted. No attention to details, I ordered same breakfast as my son except the salmon. Hungry as I was, I only realised while eating I got poached eggs and diff. bread. Maybe next time they should take good effort in service. Maybe I would be back to check out what's on the menu. NZ Covid 19 protocols were observed.

The food and coffee were great! Nice decor and pretty friendly staff. The cafe can also be quite noisy during the busy hours. Overall the cafe is definitely worth a visit purely for the food, but many small things, like correct cutlery for certain dishes, can be improved to make the visit more enjoyable.

Got the big breaky, apple crumble muffin and a large coffee, and overall no complaints. It was tasty, a good portion and about market price. I wouldn't go out of the way to come here, but giving it a 4*, as I would likely return if re-visit the takapuna sunday market.

Love the decor and atmosphere. The food was alright but I suppose on the expensive side. The staff are very friendly. Not sure if I would come again just for the food however.

Great service and very friendly staff. They have good range of GF choices. The almond latte was a bit too strong for me. They just redo one for me and check whether I like the coffee. Thank you. I had a great brunch experience there.

We came here for brunch / lunch and really liked the menu. There were lots of options that we likes the look of. it was really busy as well which is always a good sign! Service was efficient but not overly personal - probably due to how busy they were. The chicken salad was delicious and a decent size portion. Juices were good too! My husband ordered the Eggs Benedict and thought it was good but not amazing. Not enough hollandaise sauce and a big swirl of something purple that didn't really go..beetroot sauce maybe?

Had the pea and halloumi fritter and also the buttermilk chicken burger. The fritter was very good, the sauce was slightly sweet and have some cumin flavour which pairs well with the fritter. It was quite filling despite being vegetarian option. The buttermilk chicken burger was not bad also, the chips was also nice and good portion. The cafe was pretty fully packed but the waitress was very attentive and refill our water and also clear the plates away. Definitely will come back.

Fried chicken and waffles were really good! The chicken was crunchy and juicy on a bed of coleslaw and crispy waffle. Love this! Omelette was pretty standard. Banoffee French toast wasn’t so good. Fruit didn’t go well with the rest of the dish (oranges, melons, pineapple), chocolate soil was a bit odd with eggy bread and grilled banana. Salted caramel pannacotta didn’t add much.

The food was amazing and great presentation too. The big brekkie and the chicken waffle did not disappoint and I will love to come back again. The matcha latte also had a nice rich matcha flavour.

Enthusiastic waiters bring sunshine to the restaurant. The food presentation is very thoughtful, and the color matching makes people happy. Pull in a list that is worth visiting frequently.

I dropped in for lunch with my daughter, had a coffee but it was so bitter (burnt beans) I could not finish it. The lunch meal was late as I had to ask the waitress to enquire as to the where-about's it was. (45 min wait) Sorry ladies hope you do better next time.

I think this has to be my favorite cafe on the Shore. Food is simply fantastic, coffee is always amazing and the service is brilliant. Can't wait until you open again for dine in hopefully soon! Highly recommend.

Delish food. My mate had the creamy mushrooms and they were insane. I had a bagel and it was so pretty and really yummy. The servers were sweet and efficient.

ordered takeaway during level 3 lockdown - fried chicken & waffle is absolutely delicious, must try!!! yummy food and friendly service, but food took 30 mins to be ready and at the time of the order we were the only one there!
