Awesome Beach so close to city - amazing for dogs off leash. Probably not much if any beach at high tide. Not suitable for anyone with low mobility as there are approx 100 steep steps.

Beautiful spot for a dog walk!

Pleasant beach, alot stairs down to the foreshore so really for the more able bodied. Good mix of large sandy srea and rock areas consisting of tare of eroded mudstone and sandstone. At low tide rocks can be very slippery with thin film mud. Where footwear with very good grip. An offleash dog area so good for getting your K9 some exercise. Some rock oysters if your into those.

A great walk route. Make sure the tide is not too high though.

A 24/7 Dog Beach on Auckland's North Shore. It is a quick drive from the Harbor Bridge and is close to Little and Friday so we can recommend grabbing a coffee and the dog and heading down to the sheltered beach for a stroll.

Took our 5 month old puppy there for some off Leash training and it was perfect for it. Our 4 year old boy also loved it!

Great beach, lots to see whether the tide is in or out. At certain times of year Orca come in pretty close to harrass the stingrays, and the rock pools are full of treasures.

It’s beautiful beach and the sand is nice there you may get bother because of the dogs as they are so may there.

Great place to take your dog! You can walk from here all the way to North Head at low tide.
