This is one of our favourite beaches to come to. Came here for New year's, brought the family here the tide was in, the water was nice to swim in, the sun was out and it was hot. The cafe was open had a coffee afterwards. Its was a great day to start the new year off.

A beautiful and small urban beach. Many facilities such as public toilets, public bbq, playground, benches, showers, boat ramp and a newly upgraded basketball backboard and hoop. There's also a small cafe 30 seconds from the beach. Plentiful parking across the road. Very popular beach in the summer months, especially on the weekends and public holidays, can be crowded at times.

Nice beach, the sand was good, not pebbles but actual sand. Water was a good temperature and a steady slope into the sea so you could actually swim. Quite busy though so bare that in mind. Would go back.

Beautiful beach. Good spot for launching boats, kayaks, paddleboards... You can walk along the cliffs to Cheltenham beach or towards Takapuna - depending on the tide. Always check the tides!

Love this beach! One of my favourite in Auckland. Always clean and space to spread out. Not too many waves and parking easy to find and close. Washroom facilities amd even clean at busy times. Worth the trip!
