Hidden oasis - lovely beer garden with twinkling fairy lights and a plush, tasteful interior. It's very pricey - but nice for a treat. I had a single oyster and it was fresh, plump and flavourful, served on a scattering of rock salt. The staff are chill yet professional and they have a decent range of ales and wines. The crowd are a bourgeois but laid back.

Booked for New Years Eve, food is amazing and delicious, the presentation is superb! Pork belly is delectable! Great view of the Sky Tower, and excellent service done by the asian staff, she is amazing and always smiling. Just disappointed to see 2 guys fighting and raising their voices at past 9pm, a time for NYE celebration welcoming 2023.. The staff has to intervene to calm them..

HEAVEN!!!! Came by just for desert and went with the chocolate marquise and fell in love with it from the first bite. Service was a bit slow, and it can get quite loud here sometimes at night. The toilets are also very dim, had to use my phone flash light to look around.

Well the oyster is not fresh and tastes weird, but the board all tastes really nice. We love all the meats and the sauce and even the bread is very good too. The short ride is very soft and tender taste good too. Good service good location with beautiful outside seating. We seated indoor as the music is too loud and the indoor seat is beautiful too.

Stunning location! See the sky tower right at the restaurant. Many sharing food options and very small meat sides. Fun for a group that wants to share lots of different sides. Good drinks also.

Really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere here. Nice courtyard and, let’s face it, there are very few such spaces in Auckland CBD. We particularly enjoyed the fish bites, fish pate, and the cumin encrusted eggplant chips & pistachio dip - very very nice!

Came back after a few years and still a great spot right under sky tower. We ordered bunch of dishes, waffle, potato skin, halloumi salad, oyster, pork slider. Recommend to try the potato skin and waffles Service was good as they constantly made their presence felt.

My partner and I went here a few weeks ago. Such a stunning interior, very warm and welcoming. We ordered for starters: wagyu beef lettuce cup, wild mushroom croquettes. Share plates: halloumi, roast pumpkin, fennel and grapes Mains: pan roasted market fish and pork belly. Dessert: banana butterscotch pudding and chocolate marquise We really enjoyed the croquettes, the market fish and the desserts, they were all absolutely delicious! Unfortunately the other foods I just didn’t enjoy so much. The tastes and mix of different flavours in them just wasn’t my taste. I think I might have just also realised that personally I don’t enjoy pork belly so much, as a meal, it just seems a bit too fatty for my stomach - however, the presentation of everything was really beautiful! The level of service was great too! The waiters were very nice and it was a very relaxing and warm vibe. Our meal came to $200+

Stopped in for an early dinner using First Table which meant 50% off all our food. Great outdoor dinner right under the Sky Tower, was quiet but it was Wednesday at 6pm, so to be expected. Had the confit duck which was excellent; fall off the bone tender with crispy skin and dauphinous potatoes! Yum! The Mrs had the fish, with pea puree and vege, also excellent. Good wine list, decent array of cocktails. Total $110 for: (with First Table discount) +2x bites +2x mains +2x wines +1x beer +1x cocktail (Would have been $160 odd at full price) Would definitely come back.

The venue itself was amazing but the staff are very unfriendly, the food was average and the cocktails tasted like rocket fuel. Not worth the price. Hopefully they improve!

Found this gem by accident but so glad we did. Food was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. We don’t live in Auckland but will be coming back whenever we return.

Nuffin.. i said nuffink's gonna stop me from enjoying a #RestaurantMonth Fri night dinner at... #GlassGoose ! I thought i was gonna go for the crumbed pork belly entree, pan roasted market fish main and cardamom brulee dessert but i caved. I ended up ordering the duck confit instead of the fish. Pictured here is my cardamom brulee and friend's chocolate marquise dessert . #GlassGoose #RestaurantMonth #NoRegerts

Truly don’t get why this place is not overcrowded all the time. It’s definitely my Auckland hidden gem. The food is delicious. I love the atmosphere, the lights, the music, it’s perfect for a romantic date. We spent our first evening in New Zealand here and after 15 months travelling the country it’s time for us to leave, so we choose to spend our last night here too, having drinks in this peaceful and really cool place right in the city center.

Loved the look and feel of the glass goose, this would be the best location for after work drinks or dinner, the outdoor dining area is open, perfect for warm days. Food and service was quick and polite, the beef brisket I felt was a little dry, but the bread was delicious and crusty.

Great place with a good range of New Zealand beers. Confit duck was on point with buttery potatoes and vege. Friendly service with lovely atmosphere for a great night out.

Amazing Potato Skins, best we've ever had! Atmosphere was relaxing and we could have stayed all evening chatting and munching. Lemon lime n bitter could do with a little work but overall looking forward to going back for more potato skins !

Had an absolutely amazing lunch here as a birthday celebration with family! Our waitress was very nice and the food was delicious! We got a First table booking and got 50% off the food, making this an extremely worthwhile lunch! ☺️

Had very nice late Valentine's here. We ordered the wagyu beef short ribs and lamb shoulder as mains and a variety of shared plates. The short ribs were a little bland but that may have been because the clams had quite a salty butter sauce on them and desensitized me to the more subtle flavour, however when i dipped the short ribs in the remainder of the clam sauce it tasted very nice. The service was very good and staff came at the correct time to take our orders, bring our food and clear our plates. We didn't have to wait long for our meals. My only complaints are that it's definitely a special occasion place and not a place most people could afford to go to regularly. The proportions are not super generous, you would be looking at $160 to $180 for two people if you wanted a satisfying level of food with a drink each. My final complaint is that something here gave my wife terrible wind, celebrating our late Valentine's when your wife can't stop farting isn't quite as pleasant as it could have been, and the level of emissions may have extinction rebellion protesting on our doorstep.

Great yummy food. Their mains are a little small so i would recommend going with shared plates instead.

Well the oyster and beff rib is not fresh 😂.The rib taste is very strange, like spoiled,But their service is very good, they replaced me with new dishes in the first time, although many of them are out of stock in the store The duck legs are very good, and duck fat potato skins are also recommended. If you like to eat duck legs, you must try it☺️

The atmosphere and environs are pleasant and welcoming enough, and the food is very nice. The menu didn't really float my boat though, and it was disappointing that what I eventually decided to order wasn't available that day. When the waiter warns you the 'bites' are small - believe him. They are literally a 'bite'! It's a nice enough place, but I'm unlikely to go back.

Booked a table and were told that we couldn’t order mains as they had a table for 30 already. We complained that it wasn’t good enough as we had a booking and we’re then told we could order mains as long as we ordered them then and there while the waitress stood over us. Needless to say, we left without any food. Will never go back and will also spread the word on the terrible service

Disappointing. Booking for 6.15 on a Wednesday night. I totally get when there may be a few dishes unavailable, but there were at least 6 that were off the menu. I understand there was a big table coming in, but really - that's just bad planning. And I don't think you should ever forget that your small table one night is potentially a big table another. What food we could order was fine and the service was efficient, but we won't return to The Glass Goose.

Went for Pre dinner drinks. Paid for a cocktail at 6:25pm.. kept chasing for an update every 5-10 minutes being told its going to be made. Saw nothing at 7:05pm when we had to leave for our dinner reservation. Didn't even offer a refund, didn't even seem to care when we said we had to leave soon. Tip : maybe ask for how long it will take for your drink to be made before you pay

Had a great time here, second visit, inside this time. Service is super sweet, great atmosphere, loved the cocktails, but the food was a little hit and miss tonight with a bit much salt on several of the dishes (and I like a well seasoned dish!). The prawn tacos were great, I enjoyed the bloody mary oyster shot but the salt rim was waay too salty and ruined the flavour of the shot, the mushroom croquettes were sadly not available, which was odd since we were early so they must have had a run on them, the mozzarella waffles were also too salty, but the rouille was very nice, the chilli clams were good but the broth too salty, I enjoyed the bread that came with it. The Brussels sprouts with parmesan were delicious. We had a bottle of Nanny Goat Pinot Noir which wasn't on the menu because none of the pinot noirs that were seemed to be available. Old menu? 5 stars last time, this time only 4; with a bit less salt it would have been another amazing night. Still, we'll be back!
