An ideal spot for Friday after works drinks brought us to 16 Tun in Wynyard Quarter. Staff is fantastic and friendly and it was most impressive that they allow you to sample the craft beers and ale to help you choose. The wine selection was very good to match the lively ambiance and diverse patronage. As the evening chilled set in we ordered some small sharing plates of pulled pork sliders and crispy spicy chicken bites and they were absolutely delicious, hitting the spot!

Went to a few places yesterday and this was the pick! Not only was the beer selection impressive but the young lady who served us knew her stuff and was extremely helpful. 10/10!

Popped in for a beer and a quick feed. Fishburger and chips were great. Big selection of beers. Had a pilsner and a white IPA on tap. Delicious.

We had a great time. The service was great. The barman knew his beer 🍺 and we tried many. It's the first place I have been where there is a page to no to low alcohol beer as the drive this was great. The place to look at didn't stand out, and there was no beer list at the door, but inside on the wall, there were many. Due to the changing beer list, there is no point in doing a menu of beers available. It was lovely sitting in the sun watching the tram 🚊 go by.

Don't miss this place the food is incredible. The service is good and the team will help you out with great service. We had many shared dishes, which were all fantastic. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food provided go early or book ahead.

Love this place for drinks and after work food. Such a great variety of craft beers to choose from plus a good wine selection. Bar leaners and sit down cubicles inside as well as some bench seat and tables outside. Food complements the drinks nicely.

Fun place to go for a beer after dinner in the area. Long list of available craft beers and plenty for take away. Chill vibes, cool decor, and friendly staff. Food menu was small, so definitely a drinks place.

Stumbled upon this place when out for a wander. What a great selection of craft beer. I decided to eat whilst trying some of the really good NZ Craft beers on offer. I went for the Seasonal salad with chicken and it was 5 out of 5. I'll defiately be back.

Burgers were delicious and very filling! Drinks were great too and service was amazing the man that served us was super friendly, personable. Definitely good value for money.

The chicken bites are absolutely amaising!! Came from christchurch and would definitely do the trip again just for the chicken haha. Churr team good job!

Cool place, vast selection of craft beers, although I’m not into the craft scene and all the lagers where hoppy. We sat outside on a low table with tall stools which was interesting. We had a few bar snacks and I’m guessing the spiced pork belly was a number one best seller as the place smelled of it all night, nothing bad and this really.

What a great place and great location. Excellent range of bears, but could do a few more from local breweries. Food was really good and you could also order food from the neighbouring restaurants. Will definitely go back there again

Beer beer beer and all great. Busy spot and nice on the small long outdoor area when the sun is shining. I enjoyed the sliders and my partner the very generous wings. We will be back to try 5 other different beers. It's a Freehouse by the way.

Very nice looking place from outside, and even better once you get in. Warm ambiance, welcoming staff, and an impressive selection of beer. My only negative point is the food price! $23 for a pie served with lettuce and tomato relish, and with fries, it's an extra $5.. they were really nice but small portion.. Honestly for this price, we thought that will be a big pie so a bit disappointing really. Will definitely go back for few drinks though.

Pretty average bar with an ok beer selection and staff who probably didn't want to be working that day. Stayed for a couple but ran out of choice of something even slighy different

Cozy place, where to enjoy variety craft beers from different breweries. More better that you can enjoy snacks or other foods with your beer as well. Bonus point - if you are interested in New Zealand craft beers, then take a look to the guide book, where you can find information about breweries and craft beer bars across the country.

Not really my sort of place. It has a great selection of craft beers and if you are into them it is probably worth a visit. It is not currently serving any food but hit chips.

Great Beer on tap,If they’re open.Went in after 12.30 today and they’re still completely shut even with an open 11.30am 7 days sign outside.Very annoying. Tried another weekend a couple of months ago with the same result.Not open an hour after schedule.Time to find some reliable employees I think.
