I can't recommend this place at all. Service wasn't terrible, but below average. The food was terrible. Over priced. It's a pub, trying to be a restaurant? There's so many places in the CBD - enjoy your evening somewhere else.

CBD location and what a disappointment! The staff is not even remotely interested in your custom (they are very interested in the contents of their phones though); 2 more minutes to think about your dessert gets you a sigh, because ‘it’s ‘easier to put a while order through to the kitchen’ - what a load of rubbish! Clearly the waitress had no energy to walk again to the kitchen (the place was hardly busy). The food is milk bar quality at best (sorry milk bars) served on triangular plates from the 80’s. There was 8 pieces of cutlery that we used throughout our meal and each and every of them came from a different set (which is fine if you’re dining in a quirky place which this one isn’t). Same goes for glassware which not only is different from one another (wine glasses) it’s also not being polished which surprises given how quiet the place was. And there’s the bathroom, stinky, dirty, no toilet roll, paper-towel bin overflowing, the wash hand basin needs a deep clean. Don’t be tempted by the deals on food - you will be disappointed and you will never come back. I certainly won’t...

Our experience was not great. Came in to find tables that have not yet been cleaned and cleared out. When we picked up the menus it was very sticky (most likely from the drinks) and the server who tried to give us the menu seem very uninterested. I wish they could clean the plates and cutleries more properly because u can see stain marks everywhere when the light reflects on it.

Good location and also yummy cocktails. Couldn't order any of the frozen cocktails due to some issue with equipment. We came here for a dinner date but I wouldn't recommend ordering the steak with mushroom sauce on a first date as every item on the plate was accompanied by garlic. Don't get me wrong, I love garlic, but it was admittedly a bit much. Other than the overwhelming garlic, everything was cooked nicely and tasted good. Service was just OK, they forgot one of the things we ordered so we had to follow up. They also didn't come and ask if we wanted dessert after clearing our mains even though we were sat there for quite a while so we just paid and went somewhere else for a sweet treat. Seems to be mainly a shisha/hookah bar rather than a "bistro".

Just popped in for lunch today and ordered two different kinds of pasta. It was horrible and worst ever. way too salty to finish it, we were starving though. inside was very stuffy and smelly so we took a table outside. This place looked good in a distance but overall it’s dated and dusty. One star goes to the waitress who was friendly. Sorry but never recommend.

Fabulous evening when the 6 of us arrived on a summer Saturday evening out of the blue as we decided to leave ‘That’s Amore Pizzeria’ after discovering they charge like wounded bulls for glasses of wine. We enjoyed great food with great service at Chancery Bistro instead. We will definitely be back!

Food is at most average. Shisha is not as good as it used to be. Gave them the benefit of the doubt last time, but it's still the same. Feels like both this shop and next door are competing who can play the loudest music too. Maybe I'm getting old. Hotel? Trivago

We had a really good time here lastnight! Staff, shisha and food were all great! Definitely recommend coming here for a chill night and to try the 1001 nights (sorry if I messed that name up) flavoured shisha.

Hidden location with good food ❤️. Parking in nearby building. Dog 🐕🐶 pet friendly with outdoor seatings. Variety of food options for everyone in the family 👨‍👩‍👦💕.

We got a grabone voucher for a 3 course meal. They have a special set menu for grabone customer's which all looked good. I have not been to this part of Auckland for years, nice area, location and restaurant. The food was good however they need to improve on there service. Only small things but i felt there were too many small things. I'll still come back again

Love this place always..never lets you down , love their sheesha, probably the only place in town where I would go for sheesha when compared to other places , this place is very good at night , with fully crowded , nice music to have some good drinks , sheesha n love their food too, their potato wedges / crispy fried chicken n their cocktails are one of my favorites, my friends loved their pizzas too, staff is too good, very friendly , we had a great party last night with 7 of our frns , thanks for the on the bar shots given to us..really love their hospitality ..finally a best place to hangout n chill with frns for the people who love sheesha the most

Good snack food, relaxing enviroment and all around good shisha...or whatever you call personally call it. In short would go again, only hope is that things were slightly cheaper. But they help fellow Uni students.

The food is disgusting. My cold pork belly was on a pile of mash potato, the vegetables and sauces were cold. My friends meals were not much better. One had been heated so hot it took 15 minutes before they could take a bite. The heavy smoke from the water pipes was sickening. I would give this zero if I could.

Place; quiet, like cul de sac, neat. The food, magnificent; lots if beautiful flavours, presentation perfect, and yes, the servings; truly generous. The service and team awesome! Highly recommend the place!

We went there to get a few drinks, after finding a seat we wanted to sit on, we saw that the table was nasty!!! And the waiter said just sit somewhere else, although they were not busy at all, would have made sense for the venue to be clean. We then sat somewhere else and waited to be served for 20minutes. The staff was quite rude. At this point we just left.

Service was good but there was no cleaning.. washroom were so dirty, tables were dusty.. and food wasn’t the great.

Very bad service I ordered Sheesha and coffee but they dnt have coffee so I said there was some match going on on tv cricket after 20 min one lady came and say u need have more I said ok I will order a soft drink and they bring in 5 min one guy came they said I have to pay and leave the place it was so disrespect full I said no call one security came and he know me I come often in other Sheesha cafe so he say dnt pay money but I left after that Very poor never go there plzz .

We had an amazing dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious real Authentic flavours and everything was so fresh. The staff were super friendly and my special thanks to KD for being so welcoming and responsive making our night even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was too lively there! I would highly recommend this place for Sheesha! Bang ON 😃

Food was acceptable, nothing too grand, was loud music from outside. As a hookah shop/eatery for younger people it would probably score more stars, as a restaurant it gets the stars I have suggested above.

Haven't been here in literally years. Not many patrons, music confused between Reggae and Lounge Chill. Front house staff OK. Did assist with a menu change.. Kudos. Chicken Nachos. Good Nachoes crispy n cheesy. Fish n Chips. Was OK. If there was some hom made pickle instead of Tommy Sauce from a bottle would have been a 5. Maybe even some salad. Being fair it was 3pm on a Sunday. It's a fair 4. Could be an easy 5 with some polishing.

I got the BISTRO SCOTCH FILLET from here which was absolutely tasty. Vegetable was nice and soft with just the right amount of seasoning and the fillet was juicy and tender. Love the location and the relaxing atmosphere that they got here. Will definitely come back here.

It's a great place for Shisha and drinks with friends but the food is horrible. I remember coming here years ago and the food being nice but it's gotten worse over the years. Really disappointing.

Great place for dinner as food was quite good! We had a voucher which made the prices more acceptable! Great place for sisha outdoors or eating inside, was a little cold while visiting and know that Friday and weekends are quite popping

Sea food platter was not up to the mark. Pizzas are decent. Halapino poppers are good as a starter.

Terrible service. Wrong items delivered to table, partner's food was almost identical to a microwaved Maggi pasta you can purchase for less than two dollars. I ordered a salad with chicken, not a single piece of chicken. Gave them the benefit of the doubt as mistakes happen and ordered a pizza to go as I was still hungry, however the pizza was never made and after sitting around for 45 minutes asked one of the staff for the second time "How far away is the pizza to go?" they didn't even know what pizza I had ordered and it had not even started cooking. Wouldn't dine here again nor would I recommend to anyone as there are far better options within Chancery Square.

Had an amazing night with my family last night! Good food, amazing drinks and even got to make song requests! Thanks for having us last night team! Look forward to coming around again soon! :)

Went here last night and the food was good! We ordered the lamb rack (lamb was a bit small - but I think lamb racks are always small right?), seafood chowder (tasted a bit fishy - I’m thinking the seafood wasn’t fresh?), chicken quesadillas (soooo gooood), cheese and jalapeño poppers (also soooo good!) - all in all, the food was very nice! I also ordered a pina colada - a bit pricey ($20.50) and we got a beer and a coke after that too I enjoyed this place - nice to go out casually for a bite and maybe something to drink

Staff were friendly. Food wasn't that great. We had the pepperoni pizza and chicken pizza, and felt that we could have had better from Dominos. Wasn't the cleanest of places. The windows were quite dirty, and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls.

Great service, amazing food on the First Table really enjoyed our meals thank you.
