This place used to be decent but I see they have changed owners recently. Won’t be coming back. A bunch of kids laughing/joking around. One even coughed while dealing with someone’s pizza! No effort put into making the pizza what so ever! They taste so average. I asked for thin crust and didn’t get it. Also there was no pizza sauce on the base of my supreme?? The other pizzas we ordered were drowned in sauce and some parts burnt. None of them were properly cut either. Please train your staff how to make pizza! Waste of money

This is one worst dominos I have ordered from. Do not go here unless they change there behaviour. Having worked at dominos for years I can tell you the 9 pieces of ham on a ham cheese pizza is far from the amount that we are required to put on. Not to mentioned there was no deep pan which shows a total lack of organisation, planning and just sheer laziness, having made dough 1000 times for prep, I can tell you this is the only way you don't have stock at the beginning of the night. Also the cheese crust is tiny! Again showing that they are under portioning the dough (probably on all the dough types (have seen it happen alot and unfortunately some owners/managers think its acceptable). Common in stores trying to save money and inflate profit. I really hope someone from the store reads this because it really is a shame to give the brand such a bad name. IT IS POSSIBLE to run a dominos and make money without shady practices. All you end up doing is losing return customers and getting bad reviews. I've been around the block I know how it works and your not doing good. Hope you decided to take some pride in the work you do, and turn it around. Good job= happy customers and good results . Bad job = rubbish service, bad end product and customers who won't come back.

I only return to this branch because it's on my way back from the kids' afterschool activities, but I'll rather go without pizza from Domino's Pizza Albany than returning. After placing an online order, my pizza was still in the oven when I arrived 20 minutes later. I finally got it 10 minutes after that. Ok, fair, probably busy. Unfortunately for the lady in front of me, the order progress board showed status 'Ready'. However, after waiting for some time and her having some hard words (she was the 4th unhappy customer in a row) staff told her that it (1 pizza) was still in the oven. Another staff member said the board is not always correct, it can be up to 2 minutes 'out'. One staff member halfway through assisting the woman just walked off and started slicing and boxing pizzas at the back. Another staff member had to call other staff members from the back to come help customers on 3 occasions while I was waiting. After helping they always disappeared to the back again, despite the line of people growing. It seems only a bunch of rookies were on duty, with no senior person to manage and see that things run smoothly. Totally demotivated when I got home and saw the skimpy toppings on our pizzas - yet again. A cheese & garlic pizza, but you only get a hand full of cheese in the middle with the outer third of pizza base completely dry and brown. This happens EVERY single time... Finally took the time to write a bad review which I should've done ages ago! Zero stars would have been better! I would advise you strongly to use another pizza store, i paid for a delivery online and then the store refused to deliver to my area even though they accepted payment. The store management are extremely rude indians who refuse to talk with reason. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, if you are a Greenhithe resident "Pizza Hutt" in Hobsonville deliver and they are VERY GOOD, your pizza and sides also delivered HOT.

I ordered a gluten free pizza and fries. Got home my fries were half cooked (hard with uncooked potato) and my GF pizza was uncooked (doughy) and had a REGULAR GF base underneath the gf base. Shocking. Also the store didn’t answer their phone & no refund was offered.

This is the second time I have left this review, the first having disappeared. I ordered online to Greenhithe and paid for it. Then the store at Albany rang to tell me that the manager had decided not to deliver to Greenhithe any more. So five hungry grandchildren, two in tears. Two or three days later I got a refund. I drove to Hobsonville store and bought it there from pleasant, efficient staff.

Very poor customer service. This one lady has served us twice and has thrown change on the counter rudely and second time just gave us our food and didn't even acknowledge us. She also had earbuds in her ears, clearly not doing her job properly. Pizza was also not cut properly at all. I would recommend staying away from this Domino's.

We were once regular customers, but our last experience in Dec last year was disappointing. We ordered four pizzas with added extra sauce, for which we paid extra, but the sauce was missing and the toppings were unevenly distributed. When we reported this, they promised a complimentary pizza as compensation. However, when we called again, they claimed there was no record of our previous call or the agreement and requested our order number. Unable to find the records in the app, we decided not to pursue the matter further.

Really not great pizza. Way too greasy. soggy base. The staff was kind. One guy wasn’t wearing a dominoes t shirt just a black shirt with a design on it which is pretty unprofessional but he was nice. Overall not impressed. Schnapper rock store is way better. Would’ve gone there but I accidentally clicked Albany.

disappointing!(Albany branch) We had a order of chicken wings which was completely uncooked and disgusting!!!!! I tried to call the shop 100 times but they don't pick the phone, so I had to drive all the way to the shop! The manager he's look like homeless people who doesn't know how to talk with customers!!! The whole package from food to shop and the manager were disgusting ! Never try again

Food was okay, although had to wait a little while because apparently they didn't make enough dough (only had to wait 10 minutes), however the atmosphere in the store was amazing for the kids and I. The kids were dancing and having fun to the music playing and even I enjoying myself. Besides from the wait for the dough, the pizza was amazing and I even got to see it getting made and cut.

I used to really enjoy this store but it's recently become such a coin toss in the level of quality. Sometimes it's perfectly fine and other times it's genuinely burnt to the point I want to take it back and complain

Just found this tonight after my partner bit into her pizza.. we called them to complain and they sent us two new pizzas which I really appreciated , but then to get the order wrong again and have hair in our pizza? Yeah na that’s gross.

Rubbish pizza like rubber and over cooked tasteless. check the order around 10.30 3x beef and onion and garlic bread and chicken box.

Very impolite staff... yucky oily and squashed mini pancakes... and pizzas with almost no toppings!! I ordered 5 different kinds of pizzas and throw all of them away after tasting! and that was not my first awful experience at this branch! Instead of being sorry the staff were so very impolite and aggressive!! I wonder how Dominos hire such people!!

Albany store was very disappointing, Driver delivered pizza 40 minutes late and left it on the front door for it to get soggy as (were assuming) the box was already wet from the rain when he left it and leaving them in a pile just mean the boxes began turning to mush (driver didn't knock or ring doorbell we only saw their car headlights going up the drive.) The pizzas were cold or just barely luke warm and a bit dry, wouldn't order from them again.

So far the best Domino's I have tasted on the Shore. Really enjoyed it as for the first time my thin n crispy base is actually crispy. Great work to tonight's staff 17h04 19/04/2022.

Really very bad service and attitude never recommend this store. They gave me wrong pizza and made me wait for 30 mins and another 15 for the replacement but with worst quality pizza. Left the store without even taking the rubbish pizza they made and they cheated me by giving large pizza in extra large boxes when I ordered extra large

Place an order 1 and a half hours prior to closing and have been told it is too late for it to be completed. Whats the point of saying you're open till 10 if you cant fulfil orders at 8:30. Not the first time it has happened either and is beginning to be a bit of a pisstake.

We’re just down the road so location is ideal for a Friday pizza but the pizzas have been getting noticeably smaller over the years. Got ourselves a My Dominos, classified as a “mini”, which (as stated in there terms) should be 25cm (10”) but lately they’re just getting smaller. Last purchase was only 16-17cm, even actually measured as looked like a child’s pizza. Feel you’re not getting your value for money anymore… store really needs some tlc, dark and dirty. Flavour and staff have always been good which has kept us coming back. So hoping it gets better…

Bought the double pepperoni and this is what I got. So gutted and disappointed as I was excited about this meal. Might as well paid for the normal pepperoni. Also wasn’t cut properly and I couldn’t rip it apart with my one arm and had to get help

Great pizza quickly prepared None other than Domino's can make potato wedges like them. Spicy and tasty, goes well with sweet chilli sauce.

Ordered a single pizza. Order arrived over an hour after the estimated delivery time. When I called the store I was told to just wait and be patient. The pizza was luke warm at best when it arrived.

My holiday visit to Auckland where I visited Domino's Albany was unfortunately tarnished by abysmal customer service from the male staff. Their indifference and lack of courtesy turned what should have been a nice holiday occasion into a frustrating ordeal. Not only did the pizza fall short of expectations, but the overall experience was soured by the evident disregard for customer satisfaction. It's disheartening when a simple meal becomes a reminder of poor service. Improvement is urgently needed in both pizza quality and customer relations at this location.

absolutely disgusting. Service is terrible, unhygienic & inappropriate young boys. Wrong order for the third time, they just say yes on the phone or online order & then make the incorrect dish. Blame you, open the box, don't use gloves, coughing, and won't refund until you say that your phone records calls to confirm the you did in fact order something else. AVOID!

The pizza quality and service have been consistently disappointing. In the past three orders, essential ingredients were missing, such as cheese in the cheesy garlic bread and paneer in a pepper paneer pizza. Today, my delivery order was canceled after a 30-minute wait, accompanied by a weak excuse.

Great pizza's and was appreciative of the staff member helping me carry stuff our order out to the car as the smaller boxes (containing the chips and cheese & garlic scrolls) were trying to slide off the top of the pizzas. We were a little disappointed that the Cheesy Garlic Naan didn't have any spiced Indian butter sauce.

I order pizza on 13th of October Friday. I understand Fridays are usually busy but when I went to the store there were only 4 customers and atleast 6 to 7 staff members none of them come to attend four customers and then when the did attended me my food was already cold. I was still okay I had my food that what matters right. But then me and my husband both had bad stomach. It never happened to us before from any other store. Why is that you have so much staff and we were still give the food which was clearly old and not safe to eat. If I could give zero I would have.

I ordered 2 Pizzas online with chicken topping and paid extra $6. When I went to pick up they said they don't have chicken. If you don't have the ingredients please don't waste time of the customers.

The food was subpar compared to other dominoes, the pizzas with stuffed crust had an extra 2inches of crust or a base with no sauce or cheese or stuffed cheese, it was just base with a small circle of the actual pizza toppings in the middle. The service was slow even with so many people working

DIRTY smell stench when you walk in. Ordered online for delivery for a primary school class pizza party but it never came and phones weren't working. Drove to the shop to find a note on the door saying "closed due to electrical issues". and "all timed orders will be refunded". So I was left with a class of kids with no food for lunch. Terrible crisis management! A simple email would have been great!

Ordered 7 pizzas for a kid's birthday party. We were under a pretty tight schedule so booked for a 12pm pick up the night before. It was 12.30pm before I could leave and get the pizzas back to the venue. The 2 staff were working very hard, I'll give them that. Clearly under the pump! I was told by one of the staff that they should have three working but one of them was late to work. I don't blame the workers, it looked like a management issue. My biggest gripe was how gross the inside of the premises was. Greasy, tomato paste splattered everywhere, dark and freezing cold. Not a nice place to sit and wait when your order is well overdue. Again, a management issue, not the young staff working hard to get the orders processed.

I ordered my pizza at 6.45 and by 8.45, two hours later, my pizza hadn't arrived yet. I called to check on my order THREE TIMES and, every single time, the person behind the phone told me my order would arrive in 15 mins (plus multiple excuses on having one delivery driver). I ended up cancelling the order after two hours wait. Service was very poor. Won't be ordering here again.

Ordered pizza over an hour ago now, delivery says it’s been ready and should’ve arrived by 7:30ish and it’s now 8:15. Tried to call many times and no answer, think they’ve disconnected their phone. Can no longer see delivery tracking. Nobody has arrived, nobody has contacted us. Poor service. UPDATE: they arrived at 9pm, unapologetic.

Team was 6 people down and regardless on how short staff and busy they were the team that was working was super helpful, friendly and calm. Super shout out to the three making the pizzas tonight

This is the worst service ever … first I saw a rat coming out of the store ! From the side And when I arrived to pick up the pizza they said no ingredients and the store was closed for the night! And I wasn’t the only person ! So why I could even able to order ? Such a waste of time and fuel ⛽️!!

The worst pizza I have ever had in my life! We ordered the Mr. Wedge and BBQ Meat Lovers pizzas. When we had finished about half of the Mr. Wedge, we found a rock-solid purple wedge in it. We threw it all out but couldn't avoid getting a stomachache. My girlfriend and I were vomiting and had diarrhea. It was the worst experience, and we are never going back. If you want to eat pizza but are worried about calories, this is the place. You will be forced to let everything out.
