My therapist tells me to always begin with love, so here goes: food was tasty and the light in the place was very charming. I can see why people would like the place. Coffee wasn’t bad, either - though I didn’t get a drinks menu and options seemed limited. Downsides: might just be me but I found the vibe pretentious and not especially welcoming. Couldn’t quite figure out who to ask for a table and got weird looks when I was creeping around trying to figure out what to do. Also, pricey. No reason to rush back for another round of anything.

This cafe has a wide range of options for breakfast and brunch. We went there for early lunch and the place was pretty full. Nice ambience and comfortable seating arrangement. The falafel salad was my favourite. All dishes were delicately cooked and well balanced! Would definitely return to try other things too.

Bravo! One of my best lunch experiences in Auckland so far. Love it from the bottom of my heart. No wonder the business is way better than others at the same area. Service is exceptional Beautiful design to offer you a comfortable space to take your time to enjoy. The green looks like nothing special but it's so fresh a perfect match with the meats you order. Nicely cooked steak, crunchy chips, very creative way of fried chicken presentation. You don't find any better lunch than this. Most important, it is definitely affordable! One thing makes me proud enough is the head chef is originally from my hometown Taiwan 🇹🇼

I had a great experience at Odettes Eatery! I don’t usually like outdoor seating but this is an exception, there’s good cover from the elements and comfy seating. Now onto the food and drinks, coffees were outstanding and the free sparkling water was much appreciated. The latte was creamy and iced mocha was just how I like it. The chips were fresh and tasty. The herbed scramble was fragrant and delicious. The chicken buttermilk crepe was devine, the meat was so tender and juicy and the crepe + salad complimented it well. Service was efficient and friendly. They also had no public holiday surcharge! However, do note that parking in the lot is quite expensive at $6 per hour.

This was brunch for us so we wanted a place that was good at both Breakfast and Lunch. Our waiter was left the high pressure role of recommending what we should get - she nailed it. Unfortunately, my wife protested the point of me taking photos of half eaten food and empty plates but I figured people would want to also see beyond the aesthetics and actually confirm that it was edible. It was. All of it. From the bread to the mains to the desserts - solid effort from the get-go. This wasn't the first time we'd eaten at Odettes but it was the first time we'd entrusted staff to choose for us and they did NOT disappoint. Thanks and well done to the team.

Delicious spot for any meal. We caught up with some friends for brunch and it was great! We ordered the mango smoothies and coffees for drinks. Lemon crepe, mushroom crepe, fried chicken and Odettes complete which were all super tasty. The ambience is very nicely thought about.

Good atmosphere, high sense furniture and a beautiful meal. Also a great tasting brunch for all. If forced to mention the problems with this restaurant, it is a little bit inaccessible from CBD central, crowded and slow to serve food. However, I recommended it is worth a visit to Odettes Eatery. Allow plenty of time and enjoy your time in this restaurant.

The place was busy with almost no tables available so it is better to go early or make a booking on weekends to find a good fresh spot. The food was nice with a twist of flavors and textures. The only thing is that do to the demand tables don't have enough distance between them so it gets a little bit crowded being next to each other and with all this COVID stuff is a little bit uncomfortable.

Really nice café/eatery serving up some super delicious food and even more delicious coffee. The best thing is that almost the entire menu is gluten free, and they're more than capable of making all the gluten free dishes safe for coeliacs. We enjoyed it so much we ate here twice on our recent trip

Visited based on a last minute recommendation on our fleeting visit through Aukland. And thank god we did. We were told the brunch was good, and although we weren't particularly adventurous (still jet-lagged), the packed eggs on sourdough was delicious, with eggs cooked just how we liked them... Which is different from each other. The fresh apple juice is divine and the fresh mint tea was just what I was after. (Whilst I didn't have the whipped feta, because feta is, by definition, horrid... Our recommending friend would not stop raving about it, so I include an honorary mention of it on his behalf!) I'm so grateful for the tip, because I would have (and did) walk straight past the cafe in a car park! The toilets are also really pleasant! Not always considered when visiting somewhere but I was quite surprised how nice they were!

Flavour and spice are well used to shine the dish. Best cauliflower I have tried. The scramble eggs is light and fluffy. A lift up level of GF dishes.

We order cauliflower, herbal scramble and maple granola, which are all GF. Wow! They cook each single ingredient so well that the pure flavor bangs in your mouth. It’s top notch fine dining quality food in a cafe. Very impressed and pleasant late brunch/afternoon experience.

Went for breakfast, best place to start your day! Highly recommended - excellent service. Fresh foods - I don’t normally eat fruit tomatoes but I finish all my plates because it was so fresh!! Plenty of parking and be early otherwise you’ll queue up.

Had breakfast here and was blown away by the quality of the ingredients. I had a big breakfast with scrambled eggs and it was heaven. My fiancé had their heirloom tomatoes with sourdough. Also great, and would have been even better if there was some flakey salt to put on top. Coffee great too. Perfect way to start your day in Auckland CBD.

Service wasn’t the best, I went there with my friends we asked for a table and they told us we had to wait even though the place was basically empty. Food was alright but I feel like it could’ve had more flavour. Quite expensive.

MEAN. Went there for lunch last week and what a disappointment. Restaurant is very nice inside and out. The waiter was good. The food was another matter. An absolute rip off. Roasted duck with shaved cabbage was just coleslaw with a meagre amount of cut up duck spread throughout the slaw and some dried ripped up lavish type bread, padded out with parsley. My 10 year old could do this. The Burrata had about a quarter of a peach cut and spread over the plate with watery liquid. Nothing to soak it up with. Also, the car parking is a rip off (not Odette's fault) but unless you have a tournament app, you won't be able to pay and you'll be towed.

What an awesome experience. Friendly staff engaged in providing a great experience, lovely food and super clean toilets. Well done team.

Food: food is good but in my opinion it is mid. Ordered the mushroom brown rice crepe and I believe its not a brown rice crepe and just a plain old crepe. Coffee and smoothie is very good. Rated 5 star on both service and atmosphere as the place is lovely and service is very good. Perfect for morning catch-ups and whatnot.

Incredible food and drinks, appreciated the suggestion of chips for the table they were insane! Only let down is the limited parking availability. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

One of our favorite dining experiences while traveling in Auckland. Finally a short cappuccino with enough shots! To say that hubby loved his wild mushroom crepe would be an understatement. For the life of me I can’t remember what was in my egg dish but I think it was crab? Not a fan of heavy sauces (like French fare) so would have ordered differently but the plating is gorgeous and the ambience is perfect any time of the day especially if you sit at the front tables just at the edge of in/out and enjoy the sun and breeze. Great efficient service! Very cute bathrooms.

The meatballs 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 the best dish. Unbelievable and fresh flavour. Coffee was excellent. Do not get the tiramisu. It’s not tiramisu it’s Black Forest cake with fruit. Subpar.

There's a reason why there's usually a decent queue at this place, especially in the mornings. The breakfast menu is delicious, liked it better than the lunch menu. The eggs benedict was amazing and the chicken on the lunch menu was very well done also. Would definitely recommend this for breakfast 🍳

Very wholesome and delicious brunch fare - you can taste the quality ingredients. Even the vegan option is surprisingly good! The Pear Granola was epic

We finally managed to visit this iconic place. It is pricey as hell, but we kind of understood why. The 🥚 Benedict were special, the ☕️ was of a hight quality, and the cake was so fresh. But the service practice is atypical to Auckland: we were given an invoive without us asking for it, and then in a minute or two the waiter came with the card machine. The use of the card comes with a fee. Yes, we understand that there are people in the queue, but it was not pleasant.

Excellent food & good service, friendly staff. Loved the place. Best place for the weekend’s brunch. Orange juice was really refreshing and fresh. Must visit.

This is a great brunch in Auckland! Coffee is so good. The atmosphere is so relaxing even it is located in the center. Food is fantastic except for my side as Broccolini was too burned. Surprisingly, the waitresses saw it and they didn't say anything. My dessert is amazing and I love it! Will definitely go back but will be fussier!

This was my first time eating at Odette's and I was super impressed. The food was amaxing with wonderful flavours, chips with crispy curry leaves, yes please! Also the pea and spinach fritters were great, even roast carrot side was yummy. We sat outside which was great during covid times but the decor in the restaurant is beautiful. Big recomendation from me and I will be back.

Okay folks who wants an excellent Boujee brunch locations. Our experience starts stkight wait but expected on a Sunday holiday weekend. We order coffees all around (flat white, latter and mocha) and one apple juice. We then order from a very attentive wait staff and converse about our day. Food arrived, (pics below) fresh and hot and is very well presented and tasty. What a terrific find in Auckland. Thank you staff and cooks at Odettes we will be back. And hey Auckland don't think twice go you won't be disappointed.
