Definitely a nice restaurant to experience at least once. Beautiful views and interior of restaurant. Waiters and waitresses were mostly quite young, but had incredible and friendly service with a smile. Don’t be surprised when you see the tiny entree and dessert portion sizes. The main meals were a nice usual portion. However I wouldn’t say the food is worth the price at all. The bread rolls tasted nicer than the entrees unfortunately. If you were to go, definitely go Monday- Friday and save yourself some money. To be honest I didn’t go for the food, I went for the experience and views. Overall was a nice time, but I wouldn’t go regularly. None of the dishes I had really stood out or were amazing. DEFINITELY add sides to your meal to fill you up.

Great experience for my birthday 3 course meal. The food is amazing plus the view and the service. It's rotating slowly while eating , you will not feel dizzy. Just enjoy the view and the moment. So good at night. City lights!!!!!

Obviously it's a great view. We dined at 7.30pm which was good timing for sunset. The service was impeccable and the set menu had a great range to choose from. Very impressed and will definitely be back. It was my mums 60th and I had left a booking note about it, not expecting anything but when they brought out dessert they had added a candle and Happy Birthday written in chocolate on her plate. Such a lovely thing for them to do. The prices aren't astronomical for what you're getting, worth a visit at least once.

We enjoyed our dinner at Orbit. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. The stunning 360。view was what we were there for but the tasty food was also mind blowing. The plating is always elegant and colorful. It was a great place to enjoy the food and the view at the same time.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday meal and they didn’t disappoint, amazing food, very friendly staff, great service, beautifully presented and all tasted delicious! We had a great night and it was such a brilliant way to see the city, views were insane and we went round 3x, but didn’t feel a thing so we got plenty of time to see it all and take it all in! They even surprised us with a birthday cake as they knew on the booking it was a special occasion! 10/10

The scallops were so delicious I just wish there were more than 2 on the plate! The south island lamb rack was sooo tasty, and the beach pebble desert was an experience on its own. Was so quiet during the day the food was on the table within 20 minutes or so and service was great from all the staff. We were not disappointed dining here. For the whole experience, from the constantly changing view, to the delicious food.

An absolute highlight! The service and food was perfect and the views amazing. Treat yourself to a nice night out, you will not regret it. I‘d also recommend timing your viewing of the Sky Tower to be at sunset, so that you can enjoy your dinner over the city night lights! Five star experience 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Stunning views and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended especially in a sunny day when there are clear views. Food is okay, but the atmosphere is very nice. Suits all ages and variety events, like birthday and anniversary celebrations, etc. The fabulous view starts from taking the lift to 52 floors till the end of the meal. You can see sky jump which is a bonus. So excited even watching the bravers. If you have binoculars with you would be even better to have a better look at the parks, reserves and Harbour Bridge, etc.

Amazing experience in the turning 360°-restaurant with a view all over Auckland! It does one full rotation in an hour, so you definitely see everything at least once. Food was very good and the waiters were really friendly. Because it was my birthday I even got a small birthday-cupcake - very thoughtful. Only a small thing: The cocktail that was supposed to be with dry ice did not have any in it. Apart from that, everything was great though!

Orbit 360 is located on the 52nd floor of the Sky Tower Building in Auckland. It's a much better option to book a table to get up the tower than it is to just pay the entry fee, as the restaurant only requires a minimum spend. The food quality is ok and the menu has a range of options sure to meet the expectations of most people. The service is good, not outstanding. But you're really here for the views and the experience of casually revolving around the tower while admiring the stunning vista. A good tip is to make your booking for about 45min-1hr before sunset. Your reservation allows you about 2hrs at the table so this way you get to see the views during daylight and night-time. After your reservation ends you've got free access to the observation levels on floors 50 & 51, but also be sure to make the trip up the central elevator to visit sky Deck on level 60.

Personally I dislike rotating dining rooms. Makes my stomach churn the wrong way. Objectively though this is a wonderful place to go. Free entry to the observation deck so it's a 2for1 kinda event. If you were going to see the tower you might as well grab a bite. $40 min per person for dinner. Food is well prepared and delicious. Not a huge range of choices but each one done well. Deserts were all exceptional. Meat can turn up overcooked... or undecooked.

Great 360' views of Auckland city. Excellent service. Some of the best cocktails I've had in NZ so far. Delicious food on their fixed menu. A little pricey but for what you get and the experience totally worth it. A definite must do again.

Meghan was a wonderful waitress. She was always on top of filling up the water and making sure everything was okay, it is exactly what you want in a waitress. The chefs made the best tasting dishes I have had in a long time. The view was spectacular with the continuously revolving restaurant. The cocktails were superb too, perfect balance of alcohol and taste. It was a great added bonus to go to level 60, the highest point for public, just need to go 30+ minutes before booking, they open just before 5pm though so couldn't utilise more time to see the view with a 5:30 booking.

Delicious!!! The view above Auckland is exceptional. We had a wonderful meal. The 3 Course set menu at $90, although appearing expensive, was well and truly worth it! The pork belly entre was very tasty. The main - fillet steak was probably the best steak I have ever had!! We finished with Snickers chocolate slice dessert which was melt in the mouth yummy 😋 Fantastic staff who looked after us with a high level of detail. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Orbit 👍

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. This was such a special experience that I hope to do again. I loved every single moment of it, from the service, to the food, to the beautiful 360 degrees views!

You pay for the experience rather than food. The entire floor slowly rotates 360 degrees as you are enjoying your meal and drinks. I had venison, lamb, fries and carrots. Meat was soft, cooked perfectly medium. Service was nice and courteous but it took 45 minutes for food to arrive. 170 NZD with tips for 1 person course is expensive but the experience was worth it.

Tourist attraction with great views and fun rotating restaurant that's excellent if you have the budget. The restaurant at the top spins just like a proper tourist attraction should and the dining experience is first class. The service is excellent and the food options were based on local ingredients. The lunch 2 course meal is very filling and the sides were pretty well portioned as well. The lamb and chicken were excellent mains and the tortellini appetiser is my recommendation. Venison is an interesting choice as it comes from a local source. It didn't taste gamey at all. The view from the restaurant arguably beats the observation deck below, which is also free when you dine at the top. It's a fantastic must do experience if you want to see Auckland from above if the weather is clear. The souvenir shop has a great selection once you are done with the meal.

The food quality isn't good, very very small amount, and expensive ( which I understand, but at least make it good and enough) A piece of steak with exactly 2 small cubes of potatoes, few slices of carrots and 1 slice zucchini Also it doesn't look good at all. The only 2 good things was the view and the waiter. I will never go there again.

Their service is going downhill after COVID. I ordered a steak, but they didn't give me a steak knife until I asked for one. They used to give out candle and a 'happy birthday' on dessert for a birthday celebration, but we didn't get it this time. Also they only set menu for dinner now; viewing the main observation is not longer part of the dinner, too. The food taste OK, nothing special.

Fantastic 360⁰ panoramic view of Auckland while you're dining. Great menu with a good variation, catering for all diets and likings. Huge well served portions full of colours and great tastes. We were a group of 20 people dining together and everything went smooth. Full satisfaction and happy smiling faces from each and every. Will definitely be back with more groups.

I made the reservation for Orbit online about 5 weeks before the day, and from the look on the website one would have thought every table would be fillled. It was difficult to get the actual time we wanted because the website said everything was booked. As it turned out, the restaurant was about half-full for the entire 2 hours were were dining. Nonethless, we were seated at a table for two beside the windows and enjoyed the obviously great views of Auckland and harbour. The food was delicious. One had a steak cooked to perfection and the other had multiple sides of fabulous vegetables. The restaurant could do a little more to cater to vegetarians, however. The menu offerings without an animal protein are scarce and a thoughtful inclusion of something beyond would be welcome. The desserts were also tasty. It was a good meal and we enjoyed it, though it must be said it is a pricey evening. Other restaurants of similar standards probably wouldn't set you back as much, but the view is certainly unique and worth the occasional splurge.

Had the set 3 course meal. Was wonderful and of course, amazing views, did a full rotation twice during our meal so got to see all of Auckland. A must do for any Aucklander or visitor. Book early so you get a window seat. Highly recommended

Enjoyed lunch with a good view - make sure to book on a clear day. Lunch was surprisingly good - there is the option of a two course lunch for $55 - either one entree and one main, or one main and one dessert. Recommend the roast duck entree, fish or chicken main, and dark chocolate cake with raspberry sorbet dessert. Service was a bit slow. Had to wait a while before each dish was served, even for the bill to come.

Beautiful views Vegetarians beware. I actually eat crustaceans and shared that I was vegetarian/pescatarian in occasion with the server. Ordered scallops as an entree. They arrived with what I thought were beets. I took a bite and EEEEK! Tasted like death. I asked the server what this was, and he said "pork blood sausage." Then he said, "Sorry, I forgot." Not acceptable.

My partner and I enjoyed the $90 set menu each on Friday night and was impressed with the view, food and most of all the service. We felt very looked after and the three course menu came out very timely to each other. The salt and pepper squid as the starter exceeded expectations! Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting next time we are in NZ.

The rotating view is an interesting experience, However the food is rubbish, Auckland have better restaurants to offer and kind of cheaper as well, they will even discriminate you if you don’t look rich, I suggest go to the observation deck if you want to take a look of the city, don’t waste your time here in the reataurant, Euro or Wildfire are better options if you search for good food.

We had an amazing 25th Anniversary and New Year’s Eve dinner here last night. The restaurant was busy, of course, by the waiters and staff were still very friendly and attentive, and they went out of their way to make our experience special. The menu had multiple options, including vegetarian options. I had the crayfish as an appetizer, and the red snapper as an entree, and both were excellent! I had expected substandard food quality (like cruise ship dinner food..), but we were pleasantly surprised! We arrived before sundown, and were able to see the city in daylight, watch the sunset, then see the city lit up after dark. I would definitely recommend that sort of time schedule for your reservation. It was perfect! We will be sure to eat here again when we return to Auckland

Unique experience to be in 360 rotating restaurant, but not worthy. We had 3 course menu, start was great but there was a delay in our main dish, had to wait more than an hour - no explanation, no attention from the server, after 45 minutes, he came and told that mains are 5-8 minutes away but took double of what he told us. Food was cold and didn't finish the dish. On the way back down, they escorted us to the staff elevator with no explanation - the food waste smell was disgusting all the way through. The person at the cashier sounded like a robot didn't really want to get any feedback and rushed to send people off. Will never be back. There are more places that have better quality.

This place is all about the views. Beautiful views. My star rating is more to do with the food. The food is well presented but some of the dishes lacked flavour. The steak was the highlight - cooked perfectly and so tender, followed by the pork belly. I'd be back only to show an out of town guest the views of Auckland City.

This is a restaurant you have to go to at least once in your life. The food is spectacular and decently priced. Im a student and therefore don't have the budget for regular fancy restaurants, but this one didn't make me miss rent. The view is amazing and the rotation means you never get bored with your view, there's always something new to look at. And the staff are wonderfully professional and friendly.

An absolutely wonderful dining experience with the best views in Auckland that change all the time as the restaurant rotates. The staff are fantastic and treat you like the most important person in the room. The food changes seasonally and is stunning. Come here for any occasion🍾🥂 or just for the experience, you will not be disappointed. The cocktails are incredible, stunning and delicious 😋 🍹🍸 The whole dning experience, every moment of it is going to give you long lasting memories and a desire to return in a new season to discover something new.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary here. While we were very unlucky in regards to a limited view due to bad weather, we had a memorable experience. The staff were wonderful and very welcoming, being very prompt to ensure we had anything we needed. Meals were delivered quickly after ordering with good pace between courses. The entree pork was flavourful and tender, though the pork crackling could've been cooked a bit longer/hotter to really bring out some crisp (though that might not have been the intent) Following with the risotto main I found trying the mushrooms on their own a bit flavour poor, though a nice texture with the flavour rich rice. My "off the tree" dessert was a lovely way to wrap up the ensemble.

Fantanstic food and view. We reserve our seats(3) half a month ago. With Christmas around the corner, it takes 4 weeks to reserve a table for 5 or more people, at least a week for 2 at selected times. So the key is early reservation. We came on a rainy day, but it still look amazing, rain clouds here, but clear spots there. The taste is impeccably delicious, nicely presented, and the wines are beautiful too. Our waitress Lisa was excellent. The entrance is from Hotel lobby going downstairs, parking tickets can be half-priced at Orbit reception. 3-course set menu is priced at $90 per person.

Best time to visit is around couple of hours before sunset so you can enjoy day view and night view as well. Here I attached best time lapse. Must watch. Staff are so nice and friendly. They also have us a complimentary cupcake and deserts for my partner’s birthday 🫶🏻. When we arrived they asked if there were any special occasions so we just told them it’s our anniversary/ birthday. The food was good 😍👌🏼 loved it but for Polynesian I don’t think y’all would be full with their portions 🥲 but to me I was. Amazing service and took some good photos. Totally enjoyed our time there. I would go as far as saying my Orbit 360 Dining experience was one of the best three course meals I've ever had. The meal was absolutely incredible, my partner and I enjoyed every single bite. We were celebrating my birthday and this dining experience definitely makes you feel very special. The server we had was so friendly and hospitable too, overall it was just an incredible experience. I would definitely recommend trying it out for yourself if you're looking for very intimate and romantic dining, the restaurant is very low light with incredible views - absolutely beautiful. The view was great and the speed of rotation was comfotable. Staff was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable of both their menu and the building itself. The only hiccup was our eye fillets were cooked more than we ordered. Rare was closer to medium rare. Medium rare was medium. I highly recommend checking the actual time for sunset when booking a reservation as the times vary depending on the season

From the moment we met the lovely ladies at the bottom to the awesome sky bar staff and then to the 360 restaurant staff, we were very well looked after and treated so nicely. The whole experience was so lovely. The restaurant is romantic with the ambient lighting and the full view of the gorgeous Auckland city. The fact that it rotates is so cool. We were up there for 2 hours and done 2 and a half rotations, so we got to see everything twice. It's definitely a dinner to remember with the beautiful food, wonderful service, and epic views. Every single thing we ate was impeccably cooked, wonderfully presented, and just so dreamy. Went for my hubby's birthday and got a free happy birthday cupcake. We will be back !

Around 190 meters above street level, this rotating restaurant in the sky offers set course menus with a large drinks selection. The food was quite good, and the menu was decently complex. And of course, the main attraction, the view of Auckland, was excellent, especially around sunset. The only downside might be in the service, while it was fairly prompt, our server had a certain difficulty with the English language. Unfortunate, really.

(Translated by Google) If you score the scenery, you can score 5 points, but we are here for dinner. Generally speaking, the dishes are ok, only the desserts are not satisfied, and the 3 desserts were not finished, which was a big waste. When booking, it was stated that it was a birthday dinner, but there was no indication from the beginning to the end. I was happy and waiting in vain. If there is no indication, it is recommended to cancel that option. When he finally left, the child took a leaflet, and the checkout staff tried to exchange the printed leaflet from the 1-year-old child five times. Is your restaurant so short of money? There is no birthday present, and the desserts are not delicious. Should I even save the flyer? Will not go again and will not recommend to friends.

My parents have been eating at this restaurant for years and they’ve always LOVED it. I went with them tonight and I have to agree. Amazing food, (we had the steak and it was cooked medium rare to perfection) lovely service, best view in town!!! Thank you so much for having us. ?

We booked a party for a birthday and when we arrived they tried to sit us on 2 separate tables. The manager was not helpful and told us that we should have been told when we booked over the phone that we would not be able to sit together. We was not told as we would have not booked if that was the case. He then told us that we need to show him the email as it states on there that we would have to sit separate. We Showed him the email and he checked and it didn’t. Then as we had our meal and tried to pay we was greeted by a male on the bar who was extremely rude and told us that we could not pay separate and one person has to pay the whole bill which was $600. He began to argue with us and tell us that nowhere will ever split a bill of that many people. We was not told whilst booking or before we ate that we would not be able to pay separate. He was rude to us and then got the manager over and then when he was told to let us pay individually the bar man started to argue with his own manager. For a high end, expensive establishment It was extremely unprofessional from start to finish. Although the food was delicious my friend who’s birthday it was left the venue extremely unhappy. I have dined in restaurants across the world and this was the worst experience I have ever had. Given the level of unprofessionalism we received from the get go, The manager did not even offer the birthday boy a free drink or any discount of his meal as a peace keeping for the lack of communication inconvenience that was caused. Myself wanted to visit orbit for a meal for my 30th birthday at the end of July, unfortunately this will not be happening as I cannot return to this restaurant. It may have the best view in Auckland but I have been provided better customer service by the night shift servers at McDonald’s.

Had a great experience here. Initially didn't get the valued window-seat. However the staff went the extra mile and gave us one a little later when a few people left. The food was of great quality and reasonable value. Recommended for anyone looking for a unique dining experience.

Great food and service with amazing views...food is quite pricey but the experience makes it worth it...we got 3 course meals for $85 great idea for date night or to celebrate an occasion was going to give 4 stars just based on the smoked salmon we had as an entree wasn’t my favourite dish...but that might just be me being picky.

The food is beautifully presented and tastes amazing. Each dish is unique in flavour and the options may be limited but my god it was hard to decide as it all sounded so luscious. The wait staff are super professional and polite and I felt completely comfortable. Our waiter ( I didn’t get his name) was an absolute delight! He had a golden earring in his ear if that helps?? Would absolutely come back and definitely would recommend :)) thank you for making our anniversary so special!!!!!

Been here a couple of times, had a few issues in varying portion sizes in the past, but recently tried to question the place about vegetarian options and what’s in sauces etc and first you get a call centre that knows nothing then finally you get someone that doesn’t answer your questions fully, apparently showing no concern... not worth the effort ..

The experience was just fantastic...!!! The waiter was a young Indian guy with a pleasant manner, absolutely helpful, not intrusive, but he was there when needed. We really appreciate that... The food was tasty, but the portion size was small. We would have liked the meat a bit softer (despite we ordered full cooked). The view was phenomenal...!!! In my opinion, a 3-course meal would be an expensive option, but if you just opt for the main meal, it would be a win-win... You could enjoy the sky tower viewing experience Plus a meal at the Orbit 360...!!!

(Translated by Google) The food is generally cooked. The three main dishes have not been served for more than an hour. The waiter, like your father, loves to ignore it. Don't even eat the cake that comes with it for birthdays. (Original) 食物做的一般,三个主菜1个多小时还没上餐,服务员跟你爹一样,爱搭不理,过生日自带的蛋糕别说吃了,连切都不让切。

Orbit is a very nice restaurant if you want to have a special dinner while enjoying a superb view on Auckland. The food is maint to be in top range but the taste was not. Food lack taste and some dishes had too much the taste of reused oil. Service is friendly, but lack of efficiency. One of our drink never came, and we waited 40 min between our entrée and main, while our neighbors waited couple of minutes. I was shocked to see the lack of hygiene in food prep. In prep kitchen I didnt see anybody using any protection (hat, gloves, mask), touching food with bare hands, talk to the waitresses through the shelves, shouting sometimes, and all over the dishes being prepared, not to say that in 2020, this is a dangerous lack of hygiene. I got sick from the food overnight, not sure if it was linked to the prep though.

I do have to say this is one of those things you have got to do if in Auckland. With spectacular food and the view there's nothing like it. As the platform rotates it enables you to see the entirety of Auckland while you eat, with superb service to accompany it.

Best place in Auckland to celebrate one's birthday with the family. Superb experience for all. We are a family of 11, 7 adults and 4 children ages 9, 6, 4 and 3. We did have a great two hours. Kudos to the staff of Orbit 360. You are doing great. Kiddo loved so much the chicken menu. 👍👌

View was magnificent, worth a visit if you’ve never been. Food was nicely presented though the tastes were very average. Service was OK, at times I felt like they kept rushing/pushing me to make an order which made me feel a little uncomfortable.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE RESTAURANT! I was staying at SkyCity and was somehow able to get a reservation based on another table canceling and WOW! Probably one of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to. The views and the food were spectacular. I got The 3 course price fixed meal, selected the pork as an entree, steak for dinner and the apricot dessert. Yum. All of it was mouth watering! Would 100% suggest this place and go back again!
