This place is indeed a very nice restaurant to dine at. Everything from the service to the atmosphere; the food to the desserts is really pleasant and unforgettable. Me and my friend we got impressed by how nice and friendly all the staffs here were. Super nice courtyard with fancy interior furnishings. Well presented dishes and delicious desserts. In overall, every single element of this place vibes together which created such great moment for a fine dining, elegant, romantic experience. I’m completely happy and satisfied that I took my friend here for dinner. Will absolutely be revisiting this place in the future !

Amazing service and such great vibe All the staff here wear flowers which makes them look even better ❤️ The pork for entrée is absolute delicious. Fresh food! If the king crab can be served with shell in the future that will be amazing, just because it will look better in the plate. Overall 5 star, will definitely come back for more.

Food was very nice, however very expensive for what you receive. The main is meat only $50, and then you add on the sides for $10-$15 each. I can see it being a good place for a couple celebrating however not really a family dinner venue. Also found the menu confusing with the pricing not being listed for upgrading appetisers to mains. The same with the specials mentioned.

Best Fine Dining Place in Auckland!

Partner and I went here for a celebration dinner and was really impressed with pretty much everything. The prices are on the high end but very few places in this price range manage to balance high quality dishes and reasonable portion sizes, and Cibo nailed both. The staff were welcoming and attentive and we didn't have to wait too long for dishes. The restaurant is well set out, music and accoustics designed to let you have a conversation but feel a sense of privacy. And then there is the food. Every dish was exciting and delicious, and the sizes were a pleasant surprise. Will definitely come here again. Thanks for a lovely evening.

The beautiful team at Cibo are the reason we wanted to have our wedding there and they delivered beyond our expectations. The staff are professionals and they went over and above to pull off a seamless event. All of our guests have complimented the team and food, many have said that it was the best service they had ever had. The 'nothing is a problem' attitude just puts everyone in such a great mood and we have always had consistently incredible meals there. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We're excited to keep coming to Cibo for many years to come!!!!!

Went here for Valentines dinner. The atmosphere and music was amazing along with exceptional service. They took a photo of us when we entered and the waiter was extremely mindful of all our needs. Food was also amazing and they served a mocktail so good I have never had anything better yet!

I came to Cibo for a formal excursion with colleagues and the overall experience was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend. The waitstaff were helpful and welcoming and I recommend the cocktails. The lamb and duck was particularly succulent and tasty and I definitely advise you to try the fish, it was superb. The pork entrée was lovely too. Thank you Cibo, I look forward to coming back soon.

Amazing food and a great vibe. Was nice and busy but easy to chat with who you’re dining with. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Food was filling too. The food is quality.

The service good and I was so excited to go as I love finer dining experiences and was recommended by everyone I know. But unfortunately very disappointed and would not recommend the meal. My mushroom gnocci was very below expectations with a couple sad dense gnocci (which they forgot to put on my plate and came seperate) and then plain button mushrooms (a bit cheap/boring) and no sauce was present. The duck fat kumera were also very soggy and side salad not special. Dessert was good but not enough to revive the meal, especially for the price tag 😔 was pleased with the presence of a vege menu but hopefully can be improved for future people 🙂

Went for lunch. They were so kind to make room for us though they were absolutely booked up. The place was packed. After spending the last 30 days in New Zealand and seeing everywhere a shortage of staff, it was a surprise to see so many waiters and waitresses attending the floor. That day, maybe they had a shortage of people in the cuisine as we had to wait too much for the food, but the floor staff were gentle and professional and took very good care of the floor. The food was good, but not at the level of the place and the staff, though that doesn’t mean that we didn’t like it at all. It just means that if they want to be top like Origin Restaurant, they have to improve food quality and kitchen speed. The rest is already top! 👍🏻

The food, service and setting here is second to none and is ultra consistent. You pay for the privilege of course, it's not a cheap meal, but it's good value for what you get. I can't recall ever having a bad dish here. Service is friendly and just the right amount of formal. Seating is comfortable and food is delivered with great timing.. highly recommended.

Fantastic food and service! I barely ever write reviews, but I went here for lunch after my graduation and everything here was great. Friendly and jovial staff, peaceful yet vibrant dining atmosphere and a menu that makes you want to order everything! Highly recommend, and I don't say that lightly. Will definitely come back 😊

Delicious food, cheerful and attentive without overboard waiters and waitresses, perfect ambiance, great attention to details such as utensils required for each dish. We had a wonderful time. We love it and would go back there again anytime. Signage could be brighter though.

It’s been 4 or 5 years since we were last here, but it hasn’t dropped a beat. Would still make out top 5 in Auckland - beautiful food, impeccable service, gorgeous ambience. And right on trend - long list of non-alcoholic beverages, long list of vegetarian and vegan options. Way more in tune than most start ups. Long live Cibo!

Delicious food, great ambiance, attentive service. Prepared a vegan & gluten-free meal for me with 30 minutes notice. Husband had the duck fat potato kumara app (“tastes like waffles!”), I had a modified Brussel sprout option, very good! I had the mushrooms and fennel minus the gnocchi and hubby had the melt-in-his-mouth venison & beet dish. Every mouthful was divine! Great place to celebrate a new job offer and will definitely bring others back.

Attended a staff lunch on 14 dec. A set menu with a few choices that covered most diners needs. Had the eye fillet as a main - beautifully cooked, complimented by shared sides of fries and asparagus with bacon bits, such a great combo. Food was generally excellent, staff were attentive and meals served in timely fashion to all diners ( i think we were a party of aground 12 so well done cibo!) . Sat outside as weather was warm. Not a cheap meal and a busy lunch service so little noisy but easy to overlook when food is good.
