Fun day out. Rides are well maintained and in good shape. But keep in mind: buy tickets online, the place sells out within 20 minutes of opening (no jokes), be prepared to eat junk food all day - not allowed to bring outside food, sushi only healthy option but sells out quickly. So it's hot dogs and chips basically. Would be nice to see healthier options available.

Clean, organised and helpful staff. The rides are great fun and the queues weren't too long, all accept the Gold Rush for some reason... There's something for everyone and you can easily spend the whole day there to get your money's worth!

Fantastic Stress Reliever and Affordable Fun! I can't say enough about how much I love Rainbows End! As someone living in Auckland, this theme park has become my ultimate go-to place for stress relief and pure, unadulterated fun. Affordability of Rainbows End is a major plus. Fantastic value for the sheer amount of joy and excitement you'll experience. The variety of options within the park is impressive. Rainbows End has something for everyone. The diversity of rides and attractions caters to all ages, making it a perfect destination for families, friends, or even a solo adventure. Safety is a top priority at Rainbows End. I've visited twice, and on both occasions, I felt completely at ease. The staff is attentive, and the rides are well-maintained, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all visitors. Each visit has been nothing short of fantastic. The rides are exhilarating, the atmosphere is lively, and the overall energy is infectious. It's the kind of place where you can let go of stress and just have a great time. If you're looking for a stress-relieving, reasonably priced, and all-around amazing theme park experience in Auckland, Rainbows End is the place to be. I highly recommend it and can't wait for my next visit!

We where lucky enough to go on a weekday shortly after covid lockdowns and had no cues at all... Had a blast was great fun for all and by the end of the day we where exhausted. Plenty to do lots of nice places to sit and relax and eat. Also went on the weekend recently and although we had to wait in lines was still definitely worth it!! Highly recommend!!!

Good value for money. Honestly surpassed my expectations. We really enjoyed the corkscrew coaster in particular, but there's a number of different rides suitable for all ages. Only downside was the wait times for each ride. If you are able to go on a week day rather than the weekend I would recommend that as we did run out of time to actually go on every ride. But either way it's a lot of fun and enjoyable for the whole family.

Group of 2 x adults and 4x children $378 entry We were happy to as it offered a full days fun for the kids, however 30min and 3 rides later it rained, which closed majority of the rides , when I talked to the main office if there was any hope of getting a partial refund or anything as it wasn't worth staying we were refused. I understand the weather is beyond their control but was not impressed for the money spent.

Lots of fun but not everything is open all of the time. Such a great day though. Would be great to have more seating around the rides themselves for parents or caregivers to sit while waiting.

Absolutely perfect day out for the family. The kids loved it and they loved it all. Make sure you check what heights the kids are on the photo to see what they can’t go on due to height. The kids didn’t have a problem with this because we told them before hand. The food inside is not cheap but normal for theme parks. Remember to bring a empty water bottle - they have filling places around the park, also hat and sunscreen. Take heaps of photos and video.

The rides were super cool and there was lot of fun. Many adventures rides. My kids really enjoyed our there. I would like to share my experience of fearfall and Rollercoaster it was just amazing. This park consider to be the biggest theme park of New Zealand located in Auckland. Apart from rides we have also enjoyed the 3D experience which is included in the Superpass. The tickets price was fair. I would also like to appreciate it's staff the way they announce safety measures before each ride. Must visit place with the family and highly recommended.

NZ only theme park. Can’t believe why we never visited this location up till now. This is a great location for all family fun. They have a seperate area for kid friendly rides. There are 5 main rides and few smaller rides for adults. Staff is friendly and equipments are well looked after. We went there on a Saturday and due to COVID restrictions the place wasn’t too crowded. Would definitely visit this place again

Good time of year to go. Not to hot not to cold. Not to busy. Kids kingdom was great for little ones and log flume just keeps on going.

Always fun. Just be careful if you hate wet socks and butt if you go on the bumper boats. Worth it though. If only you could bring your own food and drink in, the wait for food is crazy! I love the wheel for when you can't decide what to do first. The updates to the log flume were quite good. It's also really handy that the ride controllers offer hair ties to those who need one. If you have stud earrings, you may need to take them out before going on the roller coaster, as your ears will be smacked against the harness and your earrings will hurt you. This place works really well if you're in a group of four or two. There's plenty of toilets around and places to take a seat. There are some things you will need to pay for like the mini games, so bring extra money if you're wanting to do those. And one last thing- be a tidy kiwi and use the bins ☺️

Its a fun theme park located in the South of the City. Its a must do if you are visiting Auckland and want to have some thrill rides. This park is fun also for little ones and young kids. Its best to reach before 10am reserve your parking and enjoy your whole day. There are many food options available inside, there are ice cream shops, carnival Alley and a lot more fun you can't imagine. Please don't bring food from home as it's not allowed but you can surely find something for everyone inside! Enjoy with your family 😊

I was on a chess trip with my school when we went here. Amazing place. The coaster is fun, the rides are fun, and everything is just FUN. I also saw a 747, so that makes it better.

Took my 11 and 9 year old boys to the twilight session. We had a blast. Most of the classics are still there along with some fun new rides. Perfect for older kids/youth. The staff were most impressive. From the 2 men welcoming us at the entrance to the ride operators. They were informative, friendly, considerate, kind and welcoming. Rainbows end's hiring strategy is apparent utilising young local kiwis with good positive energy. Please don't change this!

Rainbows end was super fun! Hadn’t been in years and it all held up so well! There was a problem with our tickets and we were sent to leave a few times but one of the managers helped us to get in because we came all the way. Great rides!

Indeed the best theme park in Akland NZ! Enough rides to tire a small group of kids! Lots of picnic spaces with a good variety of food outlets with vegetarian options (reasonable prices). Clean all round! Will definitely be coming back for a day trip! Traffic is indeed worth the wait! Staff were welcoming and very helpful! Free carpark 🎉Best ice creams

Twilight rides... we booked for this as the day is too hit to go on rides, we thought evening would be better. We hardly got into 2 r8des by 8.30 as lines were long. 7.50 most rides were closed off as they had enough people lined up to take them to 8.30pm. I recommend you hook all day ticket so you can make it to more rides and have your money's worth. Cafe was lined up and just getting the food after placing the order took 35 mins. Rides are a great variety but lines can be Long so plan for the whole Day. I did spot the beautiful sunset there .. best part of my day.

Went during night rides and it was so fun, but the lines were a lil long (as expected). Still loved it though and will be back again. 🎢✨🌈

Went with my nieces and their friends and hadn't been in years! I had a pass to go on the rides but I was a spectator. Went on a Tuesday and it was pretty empty which was great. It's very clean! People cleaning constantly. You can't take your own food and we went to the chicken and chips place and I had a burger from there and we got a pizza from the place next door. Should have gotten a hot dog. Next time will take another adult and go on some rides!

Night rides and heaps of thrilling rides to enjoy. Very friendly and helpful staff are always smiling. Best theme park to take the kids for school holidays or to treat them to something nice.

Super fun for the kids and not too bad for the adults either! Not too busy and just enough diversity in the rides for a fun few hours without needing to be dragged around by the kids all day. We had a great time.

Park was good with a good selection of rides. We did the night rides. Some places could be better lit. Biggest problem is although the park's policy is no smoking or vaping it is not policed. We saw many people vaping, including while waiting in queues. Park is therefore not suitable for people under 16. Some even blowing "smoke" into the hair of those in front of them in the queue.

Just love it when I see my kids and grand kids having fun. The "SMILE ON THERE DIALS" just makes my day. If I was rich, I'd be there everyday with them..... Plus I really think Spectators should be free!!!!!

Went to Rainbow's End on Friday 7th July, it was the first week of school holidays. It was not too busy. Staff were informative about ticket prices. There was height restriction for rides for the kids however this was explained on the website. There was an inside large play area where kids could climb and go down a slide. Inside there was an eating area and games area for the kids too.

It was OK, the kids enjoyed it 10, 11 and 1yo. Long waits for all the rides. Recommend doing any water rides to the end especially the bumper boats as I got totally soaked! More healthier and vegan food options would be great!

Nice fun day for children for their birthday party with their friends. Bit of mismanagement with the lunch order but was compensated and refunded without any delay. Great place for kids only if you can find them once they are there.. 😂 Nice rides and place is fun-n-frolic for any day you would visit, especially school holidays.

Absolutely had a blast the whole time there! 8 hours or just straight fun! Did every ride but bumper boats due to the line being extremely long. Was sitting in stratosfear for my last ride and had to sit for around 5-10 minutes. By favourite that was the best ride tho. If you do you I would recommend booking online as it can speed up the process a lot. The food there is amazing but the price is not as it can cost it to $16 just for fries and a hotdog and don’t get me started on the pizzas. It’s also really cool watching the planes fly right over your head! 😃

Fun to go back to on the holidays. Some rides like the Invader and the Stratosphere are AMAZING. However the rest of the park could use an upgrade or some new attractions. Been the same for 10 years now.

It’s really a great place for family to have fun! We bought a family pass for 5:00-9:00pm, not so hot and the queue is not very long. The staff are nice and we had a great time!

When weather forced the closure of the big rides on the day I'd originally booked a ticket for, Rainbows End was absolutely STELLAR at keeping me updated and moving my booking to the next day - literally got a new ticket 10 minutes after requesting a rescheduling! Fantastic customer service there. The park itself is amazing - enough rides that spending the whole day there is absolutely vital! Queues can be quite long for the rides, so be prepared for that! Absolutely loved the corkscrew coaster, the log flume, and Invader! Looking forward to going again!

  • 5/5 Mehdi A. 4 months ago on Google
It was not busy at all for a Friday, and the average waiting time per ride was between 10 to 20 minutes. There are a few thrilling rides that I really enjoyed, especially the extreme Stratosfear, the Invader, and the Power Surge.

  • 3/5 Steven J. 1 year ago on Google
It's ok. Nice for small children but with limitations due to height requirements. Limited traditional theme park that has a good variety of different ride types/styles. Only takes several hours to experience most of it. Easy to walk around. Not too tiring. Quite expensive compared to much bigger theme parks around the world.

  • 5/5 Denisse M. 5 months ago on Google
I felt like a little kid again today! Had so much fun :) Truly recommend this park, especially for kids from 6 years old and up as they wont miss out on anything (most of the fun starts at 120cm height) However, my 1.5 year old boy still had lots of fun in the little kids playground and little cars rides!

If you have been to a Dream World, Warner Brothers, Universal Studios or Disney type theme park, then this may disappoint BUT for little NZ this place is great! They have a wide variety of rides, they seem to have upgraded many things since my last visit years ago. A variety of eateries within (not cheap though, expensive cafe pricing). Areas for hire for large groups to keep their bags, rest and eat lunch etc. We had a great day and will be back again.

  • 4/5 Anima S. 1 year ago on Google
Great fun for both grown ups and kids, good selection of rides and attractions. Quite a long wait time for some of the most popular rides and food, which is on the pricier side (and not too tasty, mostly just salty). Some rides can close due to wind and rain, so best to check the weather before booking the tickets. Also, it is best to book the tickets online to get a better deal and to avoid disappointment at the gates if sold out.

Itvwas my first visit... Fun, fun, fun... but 5 activities were closed due to windy day😭😭 wish we could get foot court opened but was only one choice : Hot dog house... not bad... toilets were clean... staff were cool... plenty car park in $7... Cafe was open not much things to display but Late was good.

very nice place to be with your friends and family. with this covid situation they are following all the precautions from checking the passes to sanitizing the rides each time. Further the crews are doing a great job in the centre and advising and following all the procedures to safe guard their patrons. special party rooms for your private events and Playlab you will forget your self.

  • 5/5 Jemma R. 1 year ago on Google
Great visit. Lots of parking. We arrived early. Take spare money for extras and packed lunch can only be consumed outside the park but they have picnic benches and lots of fountains

  • 2/5 Donna M. 3 months ago on Google • 2 reviews New
Kids were very excited to finish the holiday here. My wallet was not. Prices start at $19.99 - but that's spectator only. It's a hefty 250 to get us through the gate to have bags checked (they're only looking for food and drinks) and there's limited (expensive) food and drink options inside. Queues were fast moving, the new rides target young adults while the family rides are very neglected. The worst part is the redemption games.i wish we had checked prior to purchase - vending machines have "no refund on cards" and most of them were not working or working only in part. Yeah - that's a bad taste to finish with.
