Great place to have a couple of drinks with friends!! The beef burger was absolutely perfect!! The Fish bowl serves 2 pretty well. Worth a visit! Cheers.

Tokyo chicken was delish and the sliders were HUGE (that’s one and you get 3 of them!) My husband’s hamburger was delicious and the cocktails were very yummy.

Nice little place with a great vibe. Went there on a Tuesday night and they were super busy, but still had a table available for the four of us. Menu wasn't too big or small. Food was delicious and decent portion sizes. Cocktails were great. They had a nice selection and I found my new favorite. It was one that tasted just like a Jaffa - 'Sliim's Star', give it a try!

Loving the pork ribs and scotch fillet we had tonight. Great texture and beautiful presentation. The staff were very friendly as well. Will definitely come back soon.

Good food and ambience. Was a bit pricey, however the food is very satisfying and filling. Really loved the vibe. Front of House were always on top of it and were really customer oriented. Loved it here :)

Good place to chill and drink and meet friends. Their cocktails are spectacular.Great customer service. The girl there didn't get her name she was very friendly and keep checking on us if we would to like to order anything else. Bar is next to main mt eden road,lots of parking around if you planning to go on Sunday.

Came here with my cousin for the fishbowls & they did not disappoint 😍 customer service was great also. Food was yum, although a bit small in portion size (Fish & Chips) but maybe that's just us poly women with big appetites 😅 overall, will definitely be back & highly recommend!

They have recently started a Sunday Roast. We tried the Lamb Shank Sunday Roast a which is quite well proportioned and great in taste. Other Recommendation - Fries. All in all a great Bar to go out with your partner, friends or colleagues.

This place is a real highlight of Mt Eden. Started out night here with a few cocktails and snacks. The cocktails here are sublime. We got the wrong order brought to the table but the staff were incredibly apologetic and remade the drink. The cauliflower bites were great and so was the service. Attentative and friendly but not overbearing. Honestly a 5/5 start to the night.

Came in with my family for a dinner only to hear what looked like the manager screaming at his staff. We wanted to enjoy the experience after all the good reviews but we were turned away after this experience and seeing the girls upset makes us question the management of this place. Absolutely appalled at this behaviour from someone who looks like a manager.

This was our first time visiting, as we are from out of town. The place seemed pretty popular/busy. If the staff had of meal checked and asked how our meals were, I would have said my partners steak and mash were delicious in flavor and nicely cooked. Whereas my portabello mushroom and halloumi burger was not good at all. I expected a portobello mushroom to be left whole and pan fried. Instead, the mushroom was chopped into little slices and fried but was dry and tasteless and kept falling out of the burger. There was only 1 slice of Haloumi and a thin layer of tomato and lettuce. All up, it had no flavour, and the bun was a bit dry. I didn't finish my meal as I plainly didn't enjoy it. But on the upside, the vibe of the place was good, and it seemed pretty busy/popular. I just left wishing I had ordered a different meal.

This was my local for the past 3 years or so. I have visited last week and this one. I'm unsure if the ownership changed but the management was poor and service too. Loud music, to the extent of not being able to talk. Asked to put it down, but did so for five minutes and back up again purposefully. The chips were full of oil like it hasn't been changed. I hope this is just 2 very poor experiences but the place has not changed. Hence the review. Room for improvement!

Great service and atmosphere but food menu isn't extensive or anything special. There were 4 of us and we asked for a slider each (they come in 3s) but they couldn't accommodate us. This is the first time I've been anywhere where they didn't do this for us and charge a bit extra. Strange. Good drinks and pleasant staff. Only two desserts on offer, chocolate was amazing but cheesecake was very underwhelming. We sat in the side booth in the most uncomfortable seats, would have stayed longer but so awkward to sit on and getting in and out was a mission. Great vibe though with lots of locals grabbing a drink.

Great food. Fantastic cocktails. Recommend to try their big cocktails selection. 1 is enough for 2 or 3 persons.

Cute little plant filled cafe. Not the largest menu I’ve ever seen, but good enough selection. A variety of beers on tap, including NZ breweries. Friendly and efficient staff. Outdoor terrace is also plant filled and has heat lamps for the winter season.

I went there before and had food, it's decent bar food and the cocktails are good. We had the soju bowl the second time round, its delicious but you're basically drinking juice for $40, it doesn't really do anything. I would try other bowls just to compare but I don't think they'd be any different. I would come again tho :)

2nd time we've been here. Had a reservation, the waiter looked after us well. Ambiance is great, the place is lively and always full of people. Food was good as usual, so many flavours! But it was better last time we were there. We had a great evening here 🙂

one of my favourite restaurants. venue isn't to large which gives it a homely feel. Food was AMAZING and drinks are greatly priced. Really good customer service, would definitely recommend and go again. Ordered too much food so had to go home with a doggy bag but wasn't upset about it at all.

We came to this place recommended by a daughter to have a “sharing bowl” of cocktails… sounded a great idea, but when ordered it didn’t come out in a bowl (even though still described as a bowl) because they only had one bowl. Felt a little cheated out of $35 because didn’t really want a carafe and glasses. Had a few jugs of beer and glasses or rose with some snacks and $200+ later left thinking cool place but a huge let down and we didn’t achieve the main goal of going there for a cocktail bowl… staff super friendly however

By far one of the best bars I’ve been to purely because the customer service here is exceptional - loved being greeted with a smile, food was super tasty & fresh and the cocktails were divine! Came here on New Years Eve and will definitely be back not to mention the atmosphere here is so nice & the bar itself is super clean, would highly recommend! + great service from Max & Alice. Will be back :)

The cocktail 5stars 🍸 was very nice but the chips 3stars feels old as not even hot or Crispy. Cost $10 should make nicer

Decent selection of pub style food and well priced. Super cute outdoor eating area. Service was okay. The waitress serving us was lovely. If I was to return it would be to try the amazing looking cocktails and sangria.

We have recently arrived in NZ from Australia to visit family and enjoyed dinner and a couple of drinks at Scarlett Slimms on Friday night. Great food and drinks! We had dinner at a neighbouring restaurant tonight (Saturday) and went to Slimms for drink before heading home since we had such a good experience last night, only to be told we were “intoxicated” and would not be served. Very disappointing and interesting opinion, especially since we saw bar staff drinking with patrons just last night when we were getting dinner and we had only had 1x drink with dinner before attending Slimms. Won’t be returning

I came in this afternoon for some drinks with a friend. The waitress was great and provided a charger for my device as well which was amazing! The fishbowl I had ordered was great and the service was nice. A dope place to chill, catch up and vibe!

The service was wonderful, the food was tasty and the location was quite nice. I'd recommend ordering the chicken burger w fries as well as their fish and chips. They were both delicious and well plated.

Food: There is a wide selection of food available and we ordered Agria Chips, Jerk n' Lime Chicken, Bourbon Scotch Fillet and drinks. The food was tasty and but all a little too salty, I wonder if this was done on purpose so that more drinks could be ordered. Special mention for the Jerk n' Lime Chicken where I was only given 4 very thin pieces of marinated chicken slices, while too much cucumber and lettuces. It was quite bad as I felt like I was having a vegan meal. All in all it was very so-so, volume was fine but really just standard pub food at best. Service: The service was good with friendly staff. Timing for taking orders and getting food and drinks was also good. Ambience: Garden setting with hanging plant baskets which is very nice. Great atmosphere. Will I come back again? Not sure :-)

Great place to try a variety of gins. The Duty Manager, Jess, obviously loves her job!! She made amazing non alcoholic cocktails for my friend. Great staff and fabulous service...

We were served by max, she was the bomb.com. I love her definitely give her a promotion. I swear I don’t even know her she’s just amazing and she made the experience perfect. She’s great. Idk what else to say but I feel I need to make this review longer because she was so good and I told her I’d do this for her (she didn’t ask, I offered) but she’s amazing I love her. She’s perfect. Also the lovely blonde lady who cleared our plates did an excellent job. The drinks were perfect and fast, the food was absolutely amazing. 11/10 best bar ever.
