My girls took me here for birthday dinner. Staff were great. Food was awesome. Haha the girls ended up with plenty in doggy bag. All round, would go back again. Cant say what costs were as i didnt pay

Absolutely amazing. Been here twice, never been changed. From service to food, all up top to the roof. Delicious food, friendly staff, with beautiful environments. Will definitely back for more.

Family organized this venue to gather after our Aunty's Tangi. The venue was nice, but service was not the greatest, then we waited for over an hour, and a half before food was served, then they mixed our order up. Yes, it is understandable there was an influx of us coming in, but they knew we were coming because my cousin booked out an area for us. The food was not really worth the money. We only ordered from the entrée menu. I honestly only enjoyed the prawns.

Been here before and had some okay meals. This time... Bleugh. Very impersonal service. Looks like I got the leftovers for some "fries" that were oily af and unedible (bith burgers we ordered wee the same) . My burger was gross. Chunky bitter pieces of lettuce, dry patty, bland flavour, and just low quality overall. Paid 96$ for 2 ciders, 2 burgers and some fried chicken which, would have been fine if the quality was good but it was FAR from that. Absolutely ridiculous. I've had 5$ takeaway burgers far better than this. Really really disappointed, overpriced, low quality. The live music was good atleast but what a waste if money. Won't be back ever again that's for sure.

Came for lunch on Monday!! It was AMAZING. I thoroughly enjoyed every single thing on my plate. My steak was cooked perfectly 😍 the fries were well seasoned, hot, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, my slaw was fresh, crunchy and just enough dressing. Beautiful meal and Exceptional service by MJ ❤ THANKS TEAM ❤

We had an awesome lunch in this dog friendly bistro pub. The Guinness beef pie was delicious. I haven't seen my hubby enjoy a meal like that in a while. And, the seafood chowder to die for. Service was great. The price was reasonable even without the Gold card discount. We will be making this a regular on our list.

Had a family dinner here and the food wasn’t bad, however the service was woeful. Servers were friendly, but our plates sat on the table empty for about 45min before being cleared. No one came to ask if we wanted more drinks and we basically had to try and get their attention to ask for the desert menu. All this while they were very quiet.

Thursday night pizza special $19 after 5pm delicious would pay full price I'm eating the crust as I leave Chowder is good sorry 😞 ate the garlic bread and polenta chips before I remembered to take a photo spend included drinks, no feijoa, so mango substitute for my spritzer

So we've been staying at the Lincoln Green hotel for a course for work. It is so convenient to dine at the good home but also, the service is probably one of the best I have received at a restaurant in the last couple of years. I see the bad reviews and I think possibly, they treat you how you treat them. Lee at the bar is one of the nicest guys I've ever met, very organised, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. From the moment you arrive you will get a good seat, be looked after, and the food is exceptional. I have had almost everything on the menu and will continue to go and try it all but time after time after time I find myself returning for the lamb rump. Cooked to perfection, good serving size, and well priced (this is a restaurant, not a greasy pub, remember that). Not only is Lee great, but the waitresses are lovely and friendly, they don't do the horrible thing that happens at every restaurant and arrive just as you have an entire mouthful to ask how your meal is, they deliver it and leave you alone as you would expect. If you ask for something, it arrives immediately. If you can't see the value in this place, it's likely that you are the problem, not them. 😊. I will rave about this place to anyone I met for many many years to come.

Such a warm lovely corner in Henderson hence the name- Good home. The vibe is too good, cool with high and low chairs, games and play area for little ones and also sports for those who want to watch with quiz night too once a week. Plenty of parking. However, the prices are too high buy guess inflation is affecting everyone. Nonetheless, l have been disappointed so many times. I think they need to change their menu. The food is awful and terrible. We ordered Salad ( comes with feta, croutons,beetroot) but it was just plain green salad. No dressing at all. The fish and chips are OK. Their chicken parmasean is the worst dry dish l have ever seen. It's good to ask how the food is but honestly it us hard to say to waiter it is terrible. Maybe they need a new chef 👨‍🍳 l don't know something needs a change . The food here is not good. .

Good food and great service. We were relaxing after our meal not realizing they had closed. The staff waited for us and another couple before humbly informing us that they were closed. Customer service right there and the staff are kind and humble :)

Great service. Had a drink called lemon tart, it was delicious. Food was delivered beautifully and well cooked.

The rump steak was so good, the mushroom sauce and beer battered chips were devine. Ribs were really good too. Me and my partner really enjoyed our night here. Great atmosphere and great service

Fantastic pub! The atmosphere here is good and I feel it’s got a good mix of everything, the pub is big but because it feels like it’s broken into “sections”, wherever you sit doesn’t feel too open or spacious. The steak is the winner here and doesn’t typically miss a step. Medium rare ribeye is the go to! The Guinness is a good pour here and the staff thankfully let it sit rather than rushing it to you. Pricing is as you’d expect and parking is easy. The only criticism I have is that I wish they would bring back the rhubarb cheesecake as that’s a fave!! Great pub, it’s a regular for myself and the team 👌🏻

A really nice neighborhood pub to visit. Booked on line-easy peasy! Sun night. Steak specials for $29. 3 stars as my med rare steak was cooked as ordered, but was a tough piece of meat (I did let them know) otherwise,his steak was perfect. The meal was great value, plenty of sauce/chips/salad and my mash was lovely. I ordered a passionfruit cheesecake to takeaway as I was too full to eat it there, very large portion...and very tasty! Great staff, super quick and helpful I will be back, to try another steak! 😊

Changed to “the good home” at the end of 2017 and it’s looking tired. Needs a re-vamp. I had the Caesar salad and my partner the jungle curry. Pretty average to be honest. All the dressing for the salad was on the bottom of bowl, needs to be tossed through otherwise you’re left with a mass of creamy salad dressing at the bottom. And some of the chicken was barely cooked. The bacon was good, but bacon always is. My partner commented that the curry was bland. Looked the part. Sorry guys, I’ve been coming here since it was the Lincoln green. It’s been on a long slow decline. Maybe today was an off day. Here’s hoping the group owners invest in their restaurant soon. I’ll be back and look forward to giving a glowing review👍

My husband and I came here for dinner last night, not only were the portions huge and tasted great but the staff is what made our night. Lulu and MJ made us feel very well taken care of as they were attentive during our entire dinner and so friendly. Highly recommend.

An amazing night at the Good Home, catered for our large group on a quiet Sunday night. Food was amazing, the burgers were another level, beers were flowing and I treated myself to their amazing cocktail specials. Staff were super lovely and I felt very looked after the whole night. They were great especially when a new person arrived. Definitely coming back

Food was not too bad, good sized portions but unfortunately stopped there. The restaurant was unorganized with staff and nobody knew what was happening when we asked if any tables were reserved or not. The male guy at the bar had zero personality and was dismissive. Went up to pay and I greeted him with a smile and said hi, he didn’t even respond. Eventually took the payment and didn’t even say thanks for coming. Just because somewhere is a ‘local pub’ doesn’t mean you shouldn’t at least try to give good service and be nice to your customers.

We had a great meal here tonight and excellent service. It was quiet which made it nice and I feel like this place has improved on quality of meals and service since we were last there (maybe a year or two ago).

Was a great place to eat very fast and efficient and reasonably priced. Would go again. Steak and cheese balls were good Burger was good I did not like the mustard but that's just me and the chocolate bread pudding was excellent very filling. Not too many options for vegetarians but still ok would recommend looking online at the menu

Amazing Mother’s Day lunch spent here with family. Was understandably busy but our waitress nj was constantly keeping our drinks topped up in the meantime which made up for it. Meals were delicious and the service was very good. Good staff all round. Definitely recommend the good home 👍

I’ve visited this place many times as my office is nearby and almost every time waiting time for my orders was more than 30 mins what is quite long especially for lunch time. Food is ok there but expensive. Would only recommend if “Hangar bar” is closed or terribly busy.

There are plenty of amazing places near by the hotel. The food @ The Good Home Lincoln Green is well below average & there is definitely no customer sevice, care taken or attention to detail. I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone I know.

Love the staff the food is so good I'm doing my daughter wedding there it's so beautiful environment I will prefer there service the staff involved in our entrainment which make us feel we are all welcome

Love the staff here and really like the menu. Tonight was really on point with the combo of the Jalapeño Pockets and the lamb shanks..strange combo but it really seemed to work well.. and washed down with cider…Like the fact waiting staff were really attentive even though the place was full..

I'm usually so full by my meal that I havnt had a chance to get any pudding yet, , but I'm sure it will be as great as their meals. 💞👌

This is such a great place! The service was spectacular (despite being down 3 people on the night we went there), and the food blew me away. The beef and cheese balls were an unexpected hit for an entree, and my steak was perfectly cooked. Definitely planning to head back soon!

Meal was tasteless and no Heineken. For over $30, the salad was the highlight.

We hadn't been here for a while. The menu had changed somewhat but, still had our favourites listed. All Covid-19 requirements were being complied with which was good to see. Front of house staff were good at their tasks and pleasant to deal with. I intend returning again in the future.

We had dinner here after a funeral. Getting with family to spent time.e together. Food was lovely. It is a lovely place. Lots of diverse people using the premises. Really enjoyed with the family.
