One of the very best music venues in Auckland with consistently high quality events hosted there. When they have the Ghost sound system installed it's second to none in New Zealand imo.

K road gem - safe and inclusive environment for all regardless of ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation. There are some one star reviews here due to their decision to uphold vaccine mandates while the coronavirus pandemic is still active in the community . The venue expected some negative feedback but it was more important to them to not discriminate against immuno-compromised people by having a safe and reasonable health and safety protocol during a pandemic . Kudos to you Neck of The Woods .

Stage was small, that’s the only down side. They got a new ghost sound system which was alright. Bartenders were cool and very hard working !! I would tip them if I had cash on me. Overall, a good techno club.

Passed by exploring Auckland CBD, great music(electronica), awesome lights and effects. $30 means the rough element stays out. Friendly staff, one of the hidden gems of Auckland. Definitely going back!

Had a couple of awesome nights at this venue. Amazing sound ( probably the best in AKL), friendly staff and safe environment. Plus love the location - many cool eateries are around this venue so I just fill up my belly and walk to here to dance 😆

For a bar on K Road, I was incredibly frustrated and disappointed that I was followed into the "male" toilets by a security guard and told I couldn't use that bathroom. When I said "I'm not a girl," they said "are you sure? Why don't you use the urinal then? Show me your ID." Another person using the bathroom had to intervene to get them to leave me alone. Don't run business in a predominantly LGBTQ+ area if your staff can't respect that gender is more than just male and female.

Good shows but way too loud. Went to Lahaar with earplugs and ears mega ringing. Also bass was distorted in venue. Walked all around and couldn't find a single sweet spot.

Great venue for intimate gigs. Would be even better if they opened up the back space.

This is a good venue for bands to play in the Auckland CBD.

This was meant to be the after party for Carl Cox at the Hunting lodge. The DJ was one of the most depressing gigs i have ever attended. Seriously we gaped before we could be infected. With a great DJ it would have been a great cenue. But it was instead accomodated by a bunth of 26 year old men that had got away from there mothers for the night. The door had discounted entrance before even asking. Good boys but they should have warned us of. Totally depressing DJ that was in his own head space

Insane sound system, probably one of the best in Auckland. Unfortunately one of the bar staff argued I hadn’t paid my drink and made me pay twice for it (both payments went through). Despite her saying it hadn’t gone through. After leaving I found out someone I had gone with had the exact same problem and got double charged for two drinks, extremely disappointing considering all it takes is for them to watch the payment go through.

Such a versatile venue that always brings gigs with the best vibes.

Ignore the recent bad reviews there's a group of people bad review bombing multiple venues around Auckland to try and tarnish their reputation. Neck of The Woods is a spectacular venue on K'road. The bar staff are incredibly friendly and the place is an absolute vibe. Go check it out for yourself and I guarantee you'll still be on the dancefloor at 4:00am when the lights turn on

After years of attending shows here, both as a punter and as an artist performing, I can happily say I have NEVER had a bad night at Neck of the Woods. Always a great atmosphere and all of the staff are consistently accommodating and kind! Thank you Neck of the Woods!!! You guys rule 💗💗
