Tonight my family and I went and the food was extremely bland. It was very fast which was great but don’t go for speed over flavour, it’s never worth it. I’m giving a 1 star based off of my meal alone. I ordered the brisket pizza pocket. And I swear this ain’t brisket. It tasted like chicken, looked like chicken. Don’t know what the heck I got but it wasn’t what I ordered. I shared my baby’s chicken and vege kids dish. The peas were still hard (not cooked) and brocolli border line. My wife’s broccoli wasn’t cooked and Her meal wasn’t nice for Her. The consensus by the other 4 is that it wasn’t nice and we wouldn’t be coming back to this establishment again. For an Italian restaurant there wasn’t love in the food. Recommend sorting that out

While the atmosphere and the waitress (sorry I didn’t ask her name - the blonde one at New Lynn) was great the food was well overpriced. At $23.50 per pizza with minimal amount of toppings we could have gone to Pizza Hut and got a more flavoursome pizza with more toppings for at least half the price. It’s put me off ever going again.

Totally enjoyed our lunch. The build your own sald so good. Thanks for letting dad have the kids meal option. Are our waiter was amazing. Would not heave been a great overall experience without him..... total bonus the joylab card

Fish n chips, onion rings, cheesy garlic bread, lamb salad, chilli prawns, rib eye steak, crispy chicken burger and kids cheese pizza + 6 drinks. A little over the budget otherwise delicious food beautiful atmosphere and friendly customer service. Just a bit pricey for what ya get.

Overall not great or outstanding but average. Nothing wow for a group 6. Overpriced for underwhelmed food. We had the steak, pork belly, chowder, seafood platter, garlic bread, fish'n'chips and a pasta dish. My sisters liked their pork belly but again nothing to rave about. Two of us had the steak/chips - cooked well but again nothing to rave about. Understanding current economic situation so for $40.50 250g rib-eye, it should be above average. I could get better value elsewhere. No choice for sauce on steak and it was only steak and chips (came with gravy). Also had Mango and berry smoothies - not for us. Great service as the staff are awesome. If you can, avoid getting seated beside the mini-putt next door as the sound is annoying. We were there for mothersday so they were very busy, our entree took nearly an hour to come out - so understandable our mains came about 10mins after. Absolutely loved the restaurant set-up, A++. Very spacious, tidy, great music and great atmosphere. Would we come back? Unfortunately that's a no from us, With price increases everywhere, i am abit more cautious about where I'd part with my hard earned money.

Ordered the mushroom and chicken risotto and mixed berry smoothie. The food was quite salty and made finishing my plate a bit difficult. The lemon pepper squid was nice but was definitely a bit soggy, as were the onion rings. The chips were crunchy and yum :-) service was also fantastic and wait staff were great

We went as a large group on an unplanned visit. Staff quickly put some tables together for us. Food was nice and kids enjoyed the fish and chips from the children's menu.

Have been here twice recently and is fast becoming a fav. The food is really good. The menu is slightly limited but definitely appreciate the $20 set items ( 3 different dishes to choose from) Make a mean Long Island Iced Tea. Small touched like the throws for the outdoor evening in the area is a nice touch. Service is lovely too.

Went for a Graduation Luncheon & it was great! Plenty of room for large parties (like ours) with lots of parking as the restaurant is part of Lynmall Shopping Centre. Great variety of food from Fish n Chips, Burgers & Pizza to Fettuccine & Eye Fillet Steak! Definitely booking our next family gathering here!! 🥳💖

The place itself is a +1 because it has so much space and you can move around. The food meal that we had were excellent too, we had pizza, pasta, good ol fish n chips and pork belly. HUGE serving!! Staff were very fast and accommodating! We enjoyed dining here :)

Ordered the good old wagyu beef burger and it was DIVINE. I’m only giving 4 stars because the tap beers/alcohol didn’t have their prices on the menu but the other drinks had.. Only later found out that what I ordered from the tap was just as expensive as my food 🥲 leaving a photo of the menu for those who wanna review the most current prices (as of 8 Oct 2023) 🫰🏽

Fantastic dinner experience with the family and some of the best service ever received at a restaurant. Massive shout out to Ellie, who looked after us superbly all night and was friendly, helpful and anticipated everything perfectly. Want to mention Jacob as well. He was brilliant with food delivery and at our send off. Can't forget about the food and drinks. Everything looked and tasted awesome and was reasonably priced considering the cost of things these days. Highly recommend and will be back. Fantastic job by everybody involved! 5 stars!!

Lovely, relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. If a quiet background buzz is your vibe then it's perfect. We had a family platter and sides - lovely food and reasonably priced. The atmosphere and food choices make it a place that would suit any group and age range. We will be going back!

Goode is one of my favorite places. Great vibe, food, staff. I also love the fact that they serve coffee until late. Staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s always fun to have amazing conversations with Sefa too. Overall great people and service. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic experience being served by Mel and Jacob. Mel’s smile and bubbly personality carried through a marvellous experience for the table. Jacob was beyond patient with all our rowdy guests and was an amazing server for our evening :)

Food came out real fast. Waiter trinity was amazing! Read our order back and confirmed everything. She was really nice. Pizza came out nice and hot with the mains. I loved the fries!! They’ve changed it and that was probably a highlight. Better service than what we’re used @ new Lynn goodebrothers. Keep it up team!

Sophie was amazing.. my kids loved the cooking lessons and the pizzas turned out to be really nice.

Ordered dessert. It was sitting on the counter for a solid 10 minutes before someone off shift delivered the melted ice cream. You guys can do better. The bartender has terrible communication skills and dresses like he just got out of bed and didn't bother and the other employees either talk to each other too much, or are just not on the floor doing anything productive.

Have been here few times including tonight!! Both New Lynn and Northwest have great atmosphere, food is amazing and all staff are nice and friendly, the main man Davy stands out for his excellent work always being my main reason for returning. I would definitely recommend going here. Thanks team

We came in for something sweet to eat before the movies. Had an awesome waitress name Sophie who was super polite and served us with a smile. Would definitely recommend the iced chocolate!! Keep up the awesome work Sophie and I hope your my waitress next time.

Really good top notch service, friendly, quick, efficient, top quality tasty and great looking food, nice atmosphere, good for families or a group/work dinner. Highly recommended! My friend and I had the best experience at Goode Brothers today! Fantastic pizza (gluten free is amazing btw), delicious cocktails and our waitress Awatea was so lovely and smiley! Thank you for being patient with me while deciding what pizza I wanted😅 Will definitely be a regular place we come to!

It has always been our intention to try this restaurant so we did just that. It was our daughters 13th birthday so that was as good an excuse as any to have lunch 23rd January 2023. The first thing that strikes you on approaching the Goode Brothers Restaurant are the beautiful plants, bold and many, simply gorgeous. I felt the staff were warm and welcoming and swiftly took us to a table of our choosing. My basic expectations were met with warm smile, menus and water. To follow was the timely service to take our orders and the equally quick manner in which we received our meals/drinks. Now to the food, we like to (if available) try a platter, happy to say they did so we tried it which is great to know how good the food is in general and to discover what you like of course. The condiments accompanying each food was fantastic and delicious. In conclusion the appeal of the restaurant plus the good service and equally good food most definitely make this a great place to dine go lunch. I have yet to dine in the evening here until then it’s a very strong 4 stars. Highly recommend.

Food is always fresh and serve pretty quickly. Staff are friendly, however, some of the wait staff need a little bit more training on what ID is acceptable when purchasing alcohol. I had to ask for a manager when I was denied from using my ID, which was then accepted it as its legal to use.

Amazing service at Goode Brothers, waiters/waitresses are super nice & hospitable ☺️. Food was good, & fast to come out. Beef burger was a little dry but still overall yum, fried chicken burger also was a bit hard to eat but still, same as the beef burger, it was yum regardless! 👍🏽 Ice tea was so yum!!! 😍 Atmosphere was great & pleasant! So pleasing to the eye as there was a lot of sunlight coming through, so it felt like you were outdoors, ☀️😍.

Great atmosphere. Have been going to Goode Brothers over the years. Tonight was on point with steaks cooked as requested. Espresso martinis on special only $10 yummy.

Fantasic pizza making experience! Not only did I have heaps of fun making it, the pizza was also delicious. The calzones we made after were also very tasty. I really like how enthusiastic and friendly the staff was. They all seemed happy working there. It was definitely a great experience and is a really good activity to do with your friends & family.

Pretty good food but 1 less star because firstly, customer service wasn't spectacular but shout out to one of the blonde haired waitresses, she was very welcoming and joyful. Also our Pink Panther Mocktail had spilled a little on the side before it arrived to us which made my hands a bit sticky, but the drink itself was really good and worth buying. We had the green pasta salad and fish n chips, which they put a good serving of tartare sauce next to it. I'd say my favourite meal would've been the green pasta salad probably mostly because we don't normally eat Italian based food. The staff served our dishes faster than any other restaurant we'd been to so that was good as well. Love the outdoor seating but best to go in the evening when it isn't too sunny. Overall 4 star rating from customer service to food.
