Nice park. The motorway is legit on the grass but not that much of a problem. Basketball and skating here is fun with friends.

Beautiful park, thereโ€™s so much you can do. Sports on the field, thereโ€™s a skate park, a childrenโ€™s playground, a basketball court and a track to jog around. On a sunny day, you can always expect friends and family to be having a good time here and so itโ€™s quite lively. Great atmosphere.

Located right close to Via duck area, the park is favourite location for many of the office goers to exercise ground during lunch break, after work and even for morning exercise. Park has big round for jogging, a skating park and children playing ground area and also plenty of seats to eat and enjoy the group time. Best time to use it is in summer. I love my afternoon walks here.

Discover Victoria Park! Central Auckland. This is a great older playground with heaps of life still left in it ๐Ÿ’œ This morning there were children of all ages having fun! Victoria Park sits on an entire block on the fringe of Auckland CBD. The playground, sports field, large trees, skatepark and basketball court provide options for the whole family. The playground has an area more suited to older children and another one great for toddlers too. Features include: 2 Supernova rotating rings Spinners Options for balancing and coordination Rocker Forts to climb and slide Fire pole Swing set (including toddler swings) Notes: The playground is in close proximity to a busy road. The paths around the path are ideal for walking, running, scootering and bike riding. The mature trees provide plenty of shade to enjoy a picnic while the family kicks a ball in the park. Toilets are available. #DiscoverFun #GetActive #aucklandcity #Playz #victoriapark #kidsinauckland #playground #kiwikids #outdooradventures #outdoorplay #auckland Find Playz.co on Facebook!

This is a good city park with walking/jogging track and also a perfect place for family walk with kids and dogs. It took me almost 20 minutes to get here on foot from Nomads Backpackers place. The park is spacious and has playground for kids, skaters area and lots if trees. I will definitely recommend this.

What a wonderful park to play cricket at! Fantastic atmosphere with the great Sky Tower looming above the fields. Nested under the motorway and surrounded by trees. A top class ground to play at. With two great grass pitches that are great for batting, seam bowling and for spinners later in the season, it really is the ideal venue to play cricket at. Nice quick outfields with well sized boundaries. It is great that the pitches are covered during rain, even for matches below Reserve level for all which is very rare in Auckland! Don't stay home if it's raining when you're playing here, you won't want to miss the view and the pitches will be bone dry!

My first ever park visited since i landed in Auckland, being next to office and specially view from desk gives energy as you see green everywhere. Itโ€™s such a massive park in city. It has hosted Auckland marathon and other events apart from being jogging track, family park, cricket, rugby, soccer, skating area. On top of everything lively views of CBD, especially Sky-Tower, Ponsonby makes it happening place always. During winters have enjoyed roaming in the park under the sun. Seen kids using it in evening to do skates or play in the playground with lots of rings, slides and swings installed in the park. It has access to lots of cafeโ€™s around and well-known eating joints. Victoria Park is located strategically on the end of Auckland CBD and touches first suburb Ponsonby. Motorway also passes from top of it. As an office goer, I pass by on daily basis getting positive energy rest of the day. When I used to stay in CBD, used this park daily for morning walks, it was a pleasant start of the day. Close proximity to Viaduct makes it reachable for all the offices located in vicinity and makes it a choice to host many events. Overall a pleasant experience whenever in this park with family.

Noodle night market at Victoria park. Great live music, roomy with lots or room to sit. Great place to chill during the noodle night market. 15-20 Food stands. Some stands have very unique presentation of food like the flying noodles. However the flying noodle was not good. It was only a unique experience.

We had a beautiful view of the park from our hotel and I just had to wander through. It's set up to play cricket and/or Rugby in the center. The outer rim has plently of old majestic trees draping the walking path. It's a quiet place to enjoy the weather.

G'day mate! Let me tell ya, this park is bloomin' beautif'! I almost spat out me VB when I saw the size of the BBQ they got here, mate. It's fair dinkum huge! And the kids playground? It's chockers with swings, slides, and monkey bars, so the young nippers will have a ripper of a time. But it's not just the facilities that make this park a top-notch one. The whole atmosphere of this place just screams "relaxation", ya know? The trees offer a fair bit of shade, so you can sit back and watch the footy with your mates without copping too much sunburn. Plus, they keep the place clean as a whistle, so you don't have to worry about getting bogged down in any rubbish. To top it off, they've got a sick walking track that wraps around the park, so you can burn off a couple of frothies while you take in the scenery. And it's not just any scenery, mate. This park is nestled right next to some bloody brilliant hills. Overall, this is a top-notch park and I would definitely recommend it to any true blue Aussies looking for a grouse time. Cheers, mate!

Fun to visit with the grandchildren ...love the playground and also the skateboard and netball court on the other side. Can sit in the sun (or shade of the beautiful trees) and watch cricket and other games being held in the middle. Great place for a picnic. Something for all ages

It's a beautiful wide open space, right in the heart of the city. It gets plenty of sun on the field and if you wish to find shade there are big trees that line the pathway. There are also public toilets there and a bus stop opposite the park.

Overall good, the playground area seems a bit abandoned, needs more service, one of the toilets lock buttons is always broken, the water station is not working as well. Also, the park could be dangerous, especially at night time, but you can meet drunk idiots add day time as well.

Keep to yourself, talk to a stranger, walk, sit, play a sport, exercise, have a meeting, catch a bus to the North Shore, catch the link buses, use the playground, cross the road to Victoria Park Market for all kinds of fancy food and drink, get some sun, get some shade - up to you, all possible at Victoria Park

Victoria park is a large open space which is great for out door recreation and exercise. There are paths around the perimeter and playing fields in the interior. The main drawback of the park is a large motorway elevated over the western side. This causes a fair amount of street noise. If you're looking for a quite place, you can do better elsewhere.

You seem to want reviews about bloody Auckland parks and answer is always same: Dreadful! Overgrown, ugly patches of grass. Trees need pruning and if public determine the direction of a pathway, pave it! Rather than it become a mudbath
