Felt like a small piece of a far away green countryside nestled amongst the city suburbs. Beautiful views of the sunset, great flat walking grounds. Appears quite a few people jog the track. Some really interesting walks through bush, around the park and hobbit like land. We even passed a paddock with a pony!. Great place, plan to return again soon., πŸ‘βœ¨

We love this park. We go every morning for a cycle & dog walk. Great cycling & walking but also a lovely kids park. And getting to see the ocean & the Sky-tower every morning is magic πŸ˜πŸΎπŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ

Great Park for the whole Whanau to enjoy. Mini trampolines, Swings Slides and much more. The Park is Gated, Clean and Safe. Pack a picnic, plenty of tree's that offer shade on a hot summers day

Dogs can go for a walk off leashed. Not too big not too small. Will take about 1.5 hours for a nice walk in the park

Great place for outdoor activities, picnics and hikes. Nature walk by little lake is lovely - you can see some trees under water. BBQ options available.

Fairly a big park with a large playground in and around Ponsonby, Grey Lynn area. Long walks to Cox's bay, dogs on and off leash areas, board walks, green fields and picnic tables are plus points. However, the strong stench coming out from the nearby mangrove at some places of this park is not so pleasant, particularly in the summer :(

Great dog walking area and even though there are notices everywhere about no dogs on the field's, everyone is letting there dogs run lose fetching. Great place to chill with your fur buddy.

Great park for a picnic (some benches and tables, a barbecue) and lots of space on the field. The playground area has lots of options for children of different ages and it’s fully fenced for safety. Lots of dogs walking at the park, most off leash. This might be a concern for some people.

Green out fields, beautiful scenery around the ground and cute lil playing area for the kids. Good for evening walks, alot of dogs were out for the walk

Love Coxs Bay!! πŸ€— Beautiful location and great playground. The park would be a lot safer however if fenced off completely. Theres always a child that will attempt to wander off and it allows easy access for stray dogs, which can be unsafe for children.

It’s a very beautiful park but unfortunately in some of the parts of it smelling really bad like wastewater or something, I hope council will take care of it.

Great park. Has a pavilion you can hire out. All weather cover and good play equipment for kids!

Great space, but you need speed bumps, drivers speed through there, even when it’s packed with kids sports trainings, kids crossing the road. A child is going to get hit one day/ night.

A great park with an awesome outlook to the water. There are many reasons to be at cox's Bay reserve. It could be a game of cricket or Soccer, a run, a ride, a stop for a picnic or a family trip to the awesome playground. Whichever ever brings you hear though make sure you take a moment and enjoy that view

Love this reserve! Beautiful, peaceful, it has an electric BBQ, few benches, plenty of parking, Rigby field and walkways.

Lovely ground for cricket. Nice grass pitch with neighboring artifical. Grass pitch ground has large oval boundaries with a quick outfield. Nice pavilion and hill to the side nested in trees, with a pavilion to sit in during match breaks. We'll maintained cricket nets as well. Awesome ground!
