It's a good place for kids and children to play with different physical playing stuff. This park has swing, sand pit, rope climbing, and basketball practice facilities. It also has well decorated walking track or paths for everyone who loves to walk in the green grass. Also, benches are available for sitting down or relaxing. There is a beautiful bridge that connects the playground with the main park. It has a public toilet for male and females, but most of the time, I find it dirty - so our community people should use this toilet with their hygine common sense, as if other can use it after their use. Recommended for toddlers and walking πŸƒ lovers.

One of the best parks in the area. Parking is free within the park. The park is accessible from 3 sides. Sculptures in the part are great to look at. The walk way is great around the part. Kids playing area is a good size and different activities to cover all age range. The Olympic ground itself is huge and one an run on the tracks if nothing is going on the ground. A great place to spend an afternoon there.

Nice park for kids play but don't have much for a walk. Overall it is well maintained and facilitated with toilets, water fountain, variety of kids play areas but don't hv much room for people seeking a walk.

Great local sports park. I often use the athletics track for running and the outdoor velodrome on my bike. The track is soft grass and the velodrome is asphalt. Velodrome surface is a bit cracked and tired but still great for a free public facility. Also has a football field, walking tracks and playground. Lots of parking.

Two large play ground areas for the kids, lots of grass to sit and enjoy something to eat and drink, sculptures along the walk ways, people are friendly, carpark area is small would pay to walk, this park is humming with people in the summer.

One of the best children park in the area. Kids do enjoy the place. Only downside is I wish everyone will be keen to keep the place clean and safety.

One of my favourite parks, nice running track and picturesque walking tracks. Beware of the slippery wooden bridge in the winter months. If you're up for a longer walk, this park is just a few metres away from the shared cycle/walkway that runs alongside the train tracks.

Great large playground with bathrooms and great parking. The bathrooms are pretty gross and the playgrounds need better maintenance.

Many memories made here and more to come. Awesome big park with a lengthy walk and bike track that displays art here and there. Offers a variety all spread out, including a flying fox. One of the kids favs.

Have always enjoyed taking my children to this park. So much to keep them busy for a few hours. So big it is also good for picnics😊

Olympic Park offers a great outing. It has different play areas for the kids, and some amazing sculptures and art installations by local artists hidden throughout the expansive park. There are benches along the way, it's paved/wooden walkway throughout (so pushchair friendly), and mostly level. There are some beautiful kowhai flowers and a tree with twisted branches. I saw a mamma duck and her ducklings and some fluffy chooks. The downside is that the gates are closed because of L3. If you enter from Portage Road, you have to go over the bridge and the water stinks of raw sewage. If you enter from Wolverton (where there are yellow lines and no parking, good for drop offs), then you can avoid that. I wasn't able to orient myself and find all the art work, which is a bit of a shame, but a good reason to go back again.

Kids love coming to Olympic Park, there is something there for every child as there is so many different playgrounds surrounded by patches of grass and heaps of seating and tables to have something to eat, also alot of trees for shade. Great place for the whole family!

Nice little track if you have youngs ones who enjoy fresh air as for the playground ,not alot to offer for beginners its more suited for children with abit more upper body strength in my personal opinion. If you go over the bridge closer to Portage Road than you will find a playground for 1-3 yr olds plus have a field for bike racing track and "kick field" which was pretty empty so leaving ample space awy from others .

Great turf. Good facilities & spectator viewing areas. Clean public toilets. BP in walking distance up the road if you want a coffee or cafe food.

A little bit of road works around at the moment but is a great park. Art works scattered around the park. 2 play areas and plenty of parking. Gentle walk around the park. Public toilets at both ends of the park. Close to LynnMall

Olympic Park is such a fun place to visit with my kids. We've been going there for about 15 years and enjoy the sandpit, the basket ball hoops and the swings.

Great place for kids, in Avondale, Auckland, NZ. Large, dedicated play area. One decent toilet, could use some cleaning though. Decent for a quick break in the hustle bustle of the city.
